Later, take the row boat out and try your hand at fishing or go for a ride along the quiet street that wraps around the lake. Have your own boat? Bring it! We have a boat lift and dock on our beautiful 3 landing pier! When its time to eat you can head to Dale's Seafood for the best hush puppies or El Juan Mariscos & Grill for a perfectly mixed drink and the best Mexican food I have found in NC! Rather stay and cook? Awesome! A fully stocked kitchen, grill and dishwasher makes sure your vacation STAYS a vacation! This home is perfect for families of all ages. You will find everything you need to help you relax and reconnect at The Fish Away- the perfect get away!

Even though our stay was get short on our part due to the storm the stay was great. Everything was just as it looked on the pictures, the lake and lake view was Amazing. We cant wait to go back ❀ and lake

Our weekend at the lake

This home is absolutely adorable!!!! Very clean and a lot of special touches~ beautiful view of the lake and a wonderful back porch to relax. Great pier with a swing. Beds were very comfy as well.

Native Americans Fish Camp

House was lovely. We were throughly entertained by all the wildlife in the back yard as well as the beautiful sunrise every morning.

Lake Waccamaw retreat

The property was perfect for our family of four. We were able to use the boat lift during our stay. The pier is spacious and long enough to float our boat to access the boat lift. All bed linens and towels are high quality. Everything needed for our stay was provided. The host was responsive to all our questions and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely look to book this property again.

Place of paradise

Best rental house I have ever rented.! Plenty of kitchen supplies, beautiful grounds, comfy bed!👍 Even though the rest of the family couldn’t make it, I had a wonderful long weekend watching birds, ducks, white caps on Lake Waccamaw. Will be back next year from NY. Thank you.

Serenity in Lake Waccamaw

This home was lovely and quite peaceful. I sure that the owners prayed over it as I felt it when I opened the door. The hosts were so attentive and the few times that I messaged Elisa, she got right back to me. The beds were comfy, the sunrise that you get to see over the lake in the morning is like a slice of heaven. There were thoughtful touches throughout with a coffee drawer with tea ( which was a HUGE plus for me) and some snacks. A few small things that might be helpful: 1. The showers are clean, but small. My husband is a little over 6 feet and slightly over 225, he was able to shower but it’s not much room for him to move around in them. This would not keep us from coming back though. 2. The fridge, microwave and dryer could have been cleaner, I needed to wipe them down before using them. I’m sure this was just an oversight as everything else was clean throughout the house. Overall, it was a great place to relax. Since we have family that lives nearby and we visit them often and their house is too small to host everyone, I’m sure that we will book this property frequently. The neighborhood is safe and quiet even in the midst of the July. We definitely enjoyed our stay and felt rested when we left. .

The Fish Away at Lake Waccamaw

Cute little refurbished cottage. A 3/2 with plenty of room. The large back porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and devotional time. The master king bed was super comfortable! We played the furnished board games and enjoyed the owner furnished coffee and snacks! Over 3000 channels on the tvs though we only used the one in the living area.

Perfectly relaxing lake house

This is a great place for a Lake Waccamaw stay! We loved the situation on the lake with the beautiful cypress trees, huge dock, and wonderful back porch looking out at the shore. The kitchen, living, and bedrooms are all comfortable, updated, and had everything we needed. The host was very kind and great with communication as well. Thank you!
