Welcome to The Warming Hut – a spacious, renovated 4-bedroom retreat near Mt. Hood, set in a scenic golf community. The climate-controlled bonus game room offers over 500 sq ft of fun with a pool table, arcade game, large TV, and comfy seating. Ideal for families or friends seeking both adventure and comfort.

Hood with thoughtful decor and every modern comfort you could ask for! Enjoy the combined golf course and wooded view from inside this one level home or relax on the patio that extends the length of the house. A grill, hammock, fire table and outdoor furniture are waiting for you!

No details were spared when outfitting The Warming Hut and we feel confident that you will find everything you need to make your stay feel like a home away from home. The spacious kitchen has modern appliances, garbage disposal, gas stovetop and all the kitchen gadgets and cooking essentials ( flour, sugar, spices, etc) you will need will make cooking in delightful (even while on vacation). Help yourself to coffee, keurig pods, tea or hot chocolate provided for you. Two dining areas and a island bar give ample seating options for your entire party.

The garage has been converted to a carpeted game room for added fun and entertainment. You can enjoy a game of pool, video arcade games, space to play games and an additional TV viewing area. Coming back from a day at the mountain you will find a spot to hang your gear, electric boot and glove warmers and a drying rack for wet winter gear. The game room has a mini-split unit that provides heating/cooling for the area. An extra fridge/freezer in the allows you to comfortably unpack your coolers and stay awhile!

The open concept living area will allow you to relish quality time together weather you are cooking dinner, playing one of the many board games/puzzles provided, reading a book by the fire or watching your favorite movie on the smart TV (with your login). Plenty of cozy blankets and pillows will make you feel right at home.

One level living is perfect for all generations from young to "mature"! The primary bedroom is large with a slider that accesses the deck and private en suite bathroom. Bedroom arrangements allow for 10 people in traditional beds (1 king, 2 queens, 1 bunk bed with full below and twin on top, 1 twin trundle best for a child or smaller adult) however we will consider 11 people if you choose to use the pack n' play or inflatable queen mattress provided. Due to Clackamas County STR restrictions a 11 person limit will be strictly enforced and violations could result in penalties. Parties/events are not allowed.

Enjoy the warmth that the onsite sauna provides at the house but you also have access to the Mt. Hood Oregon Resorts year round heated pool and hot tub that is just minutes down the road. As a guest of The Warming Hut you will be able to access these resort facilities during your stay free of charge as well as tennis, basketball courts, exercise room, playground and putting green. You must check in at the main lobby and show your reservation confirmation to get your free pass.

Location is key and you will find yourself able to walk the many paths that lead around the golf course and find yourself catching glimpses of the beautiful Salmon River along the way. If your ready to explore there are so many fun things right out the backdoor from forested hiking trails to extensive mountain biking options. Winter boasts some of the best skiing, snowboarding, nordic, snowmobiling, sledding and snow activities Oregon has to offer all within a short drive. Prefer not to cook- there are some fantastic locally owned restaurants/coffee shops/bars/etc within minutes of the house as well as a fully stocked grocery store. You will have full access to The Warming Hut driveway, which should accommodate up to four mid-sized cars or two extra large SUVs. Please be considerate of our neighbors and do not park on the street.

Other things to note
Noise & Parties: Please HAVE FUN and make memories with your friends and family at The Warming Hut but please remember this isn't a PARTY house and they are not allowed. The guest limit will be strictly enforced as will the 10pm-8am quiet hours. We want you to be welcomed into this quiet neighborhood by not only your hosts but by the full time neighbors who value their peaceful existence in the mountains! You know your group best and if they tend towards loud and rambunctious behaviour then this may not be the spot for you. Just keeping it real!

Age Requirements: You must be 21+ to rent this property.

JUST A NOTE: We love our home on the mountain and trust that you will as well. We ask that you treat the home with the respect and leave it as if you had to clean it yourself (don't worry you don't...but pretend you did). Confetti is fun but not to clean up so please don't bring it!

- Smoking/drug use is not allowed

- No extra/Overnight guests ( Have more guests than listed in reservation or if the number doesn’t match we reserve the right to cancel reservation)

- If you accidently break something please let us know so that we can fix it for the next guest in a timely manner. We know accidents can happen!

- We have taken great care to place furniture- please no moving/rearranging

- Please keep electronics like TVs, lamps, etc. plugged in

- There is only one exterior security camera which only overlooks the driveway and street.

- Normal cleaning is anticipated but excess cleaning that is needed due to spills, stains or neglect will be charge an additional $50/hr. Cleaning supplies are provided should you find yourself with an excess mess.

- Winter storms are part of mountain life, and brief power outages may occasionally occur. Guests can stay warm and comfortable with the wood-burning fireplace, plus we provide flashlights and a gas cooktop for added convenience.

Left behind items: Make sure to double check under those beds and drawers so that you don't leave items behind. If you do accidently leave items and we are able to locate them we are happy to return them for a $20 fee and with pre-paid postage.
