Cabine confortable sur le mont Hood, à Welches, à droite sur la rivière Salmon et directement à travers la rue du golf à l'hôtel à la montagne. Deux chambres, deux salles de bains et d'un patio et une terrasse pour se détendre et prendre facile. La chambre principale a une reine. Chambre a une reine et un ensemble de couchettes. 6 personnes, plus deux grands canapés dans le salon.
Linge de maison inclus, ainsi que des serviettes et du bois pour le poêle à bois chaleureux et confortable. Laveuse et sécheuse, micro-ondes, de Câble de base et internet sans fil inclus.

If you like Amazing views, this place is for you.

This house has it all. From the deck that overlooks the Salem River, to every utensil you could need for cooking, and they even put glasses in the freezer, which made for a very nice cold drink. There was even a hammock stand, with the hammock in the garage for use. We unfortunately didn't utilize this trip, but maybe next time. Love this place.

Amazing getaway

It was exactly what we were looking for. A little getaway from the city and a nice time to unwind. The cabin was as advertised, it was fully stocked with everything that you may need and close enough to stores in case you needed some last minute food items. The owners make sure you know exactly what to do, and where everything is at. We completely enjoyed our stay. Thank you for offering your home to rent.

Comfortable vacation house

The river out back was neat. I wouldn't mind staying here in the spring too! House is very clean, has everything you might need to cook with plenty of precautions for in case of emergency. Its just a 20 minutes drive to Ski Bowl.

Our favorite nature retreat

Our second stay here was just as impressive as our first! We especially loved the nature display of salmon jumping and sunlight on the river, enjoyed from the deck all day long. Thank you to the wonderful hosts!

Quiet propert right on the river

What a lovely place! Very clean, quiet, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The sound of the river was so peaceful and calming. We loved our stay!

Home Stay

Some places are houses, the Rauch cabin is a home, the feel of a home. Being on the Salmon river is neat, but special so this time of year with the fish moving upstream. Highly recommend. Thank you to the Rauch family

Great way to unplug and relax

We had a great time. Really enjoyed having a fire in the woodstove and the sound and view of the river were so calming. Was a wonderful stay, will keep this home in mind for the future for sure.

We had a great time! The weekend we stayed was stormy, but we made a fire, played board games, and watched the river and wildlife. Very relaxing!

Relaxing Experience

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The sound of the river just beyond the back deck was so peaceful and relaxing. The location of the property was fantastic for getting outdoors and exploring the greater Mt. Hood area. The home was extremely comfortable and well kept.

Great stay

The place worked very well for us with lovely green trees all around and great deck overlooking river. Beds were excellent; I wish I knew who made them. Would happily stay again. Mt Hood was lovely but overly crowded at this time of year. Everybody wants to be in this beautiful area.

Peaceful getaway

Arrived late in the evening and awoke to the most beautiful deck view of the river. The house had all the feels of a cabin getaway, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our simple Thanksgiving dinner. Took a nap in the hammock listening to the water, we will absolutely be back!

Right by the river

We stayed here for two nights. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed our stay here very much. Very cozy and comfortable. Loved the mattress! :) Thank you for letting us stay!! We enjoyed the sound of river, and we’d like to be back in summer.

Great Cabin in the woods

This property was a great cabin. It had that lived in relaxed vibe with all you could need! Games, clean linens, River view, cooking and baking items. Truly a little gem off the beaten path. We would def go back for longer. Very relaxing.

Relaxing place to play some cards

My parents came to visit from Nebraska so my partner and I rented this place for the weekend. We loved playing cribbage out in the deck & our senior dog loved the sounds of the Salmon River. We will definitely do this again!

AMAZING STAY!

Our family had a wonderful time together at this amazing cabin! It had everything we needed and then some! We were able to cook many meals with everything provided and many stores minutes away! We even got some snowfall and went tubing up at the mountain which was really close too!! Getting up in the morning and having a cup of coffee on the lanai with a breathtaking view of the river was the best!! Such a peaceful place that we hope to be able to return to!

River relaxation

So comfortable, so cosy, so welcoming. Incredible spot right on the river; the trees, the scenery... perfect Fall in Oregon setting! Sparkling clean, and everything was so well thought out and thoughtful. We especially enjoyed the woodstove, it just made the experience! Comfortable chairs and beds, nothing left wanting.

So relaxing

I took my daughter and her best friend for a girls weekend and we had such a relaxing and restorative time. The home was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the host communicative and gracious. It was a wonderful weekend of hiking, reading, playing games, and dining on the patio. A beautiful and convenient location. It will definitely be on my return list. Thank you!

Owned by the three Rauch brothers; inherited from our parents who enjoyed the place for many years. We're natives of Portland and have been coming to the Mt Hood and Welches are all our lives.

A family second home for over 30 years, we are all busy guys so we love to rent it out to others.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

A great, cozy, comfortable house, great year round. In the winter, there is nothing better than sitting by the wood stove and reading or playing games or watching a movie - unless it's the summer when it's hard to beat sitting on the deck right above the Salmon River and watching and listening as it goes by; with a great view of the tree covered mountains across the river. Very peaceful and comfortable for a short or long getaway. And all the activity you could wish for within miles: golf, hiking, fishing, biking, skiing, and more.
