Skip the long line for check-in and go right to the room. The indoor/outdoor heated pool is free and located on the first floor. This complex has it all under one roof.

Our two bedroom unit has two private bathrooms, living room with a queen size sleeper sofa, and an electric fireplace (no messy hauling wood). The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the other bedroom has a queen size bed. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. It features a crock pot, kitchen utensils, coffee pot, and large pots and pans allowing you to enjoy your meals in the comfort of your room. A washer and dryer are conveniently tucked away in a closet.

Silver Creek is an eight-story condominium building with a large central foyer and guest services. Guest can enjoy the Spa & Fitness Center, indoor/outdoor heated pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub, sauna and exercise room. Silver Creek offers the Bears Den Food Court, Misty’s Restaurant & Sports Bar, a clothing and gift store.

Silver Creek has the only night skiing available with 12-hour a day lift access, right out the side door. You will enjoy a tubing park, wide trails and high speed lifts, night skiing, cross country skiing, ski school or private lessons. You can rent skis or snowboard, and purchase your tickets inside the Silver Creek Lodge. There is plenty of parking.

Exactly what we needed

Lou was very responsive and helpful. There was a snafu with housekeeping, and she fixed it right away. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. The Lodge had good parking and quick access to Snowshoe. And the tubing out back was fun!

Great Stay!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4; it is clean and better than the pictures. It is well stocked with anything needed in the kitchen and baths. Super convenient to the Silver Creek slopes. We will stay here again!!

The owners clearly take pride in this 2 Bedroom location. It’s clean, it was exactly as advertised, and our family has a collection of unforgettable memories from a spectacular Ski vacation. Great value, worth every penny. Thanks to ownership for taking pride in it, even though y’all are Hokies ;-)!

Very nice place

There were 4 adult men staying here for skiing. The unit was great for us. We cooked all of our meals, and the unit was well-supplied for cooking. Beds and furniture were all good. One recommendation is to add lighting under the kitchen cabinets.

Nicely equipped condo

This unit is well equipped with newer appliances and kitchen hardware, which is very much appreciated! The unit was clean and well organized, beds were comfortable, and having a TV in each room was a great amenity. Will definitely try to book this unit for future trips to Snowshoe.

Greta place at Silver Creek

We are a group of four senior men who have been going to snow shoe for 20 years. This was our first time staying at Silver Creek, and we absolutely loved it. Your place was very nice, the furniture and especially the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied, and we basically have no complaints and only compliments. We all thought an improvement in the lighting might be helpful; maybe change out the lights to LEDs. Other than that we were extremely pleased with this place, and we’ll try to return next year.

great location for a ski trip

location has everything you need, without the huge crowds of the village, convenient parking, tubing, restaurant and shops with a ski in ski out locations to slopes. perfect for the beginner and just a short bus ride to the village. condo was Very equipped kitchen but could use a USB charging abilities.

Great Value, good times

The property itself, as well as the lodge is in need of a bit of updating. However, the owner was awesome, and the Condo was well-equipped. Be aware if you are not, that this is not the main ski area on the mountain, but is a secondary ski area. However, we did enjoy being able to walk to the lifts, and also the night skiing that this section has, that the main park does not. If you just want a clean comfortable family outing, and are not looking for a fancy venue, it will fit you great.

Solid rental

This was a good rental property. You should understand that Snowshoe has two ski mountains - the main Snowshoe mountain and Silver Creek - a smaller resort that has night skiing. This unit is on Silver Creek and you need to take a shuttle to Snowshoe to ski at the main resort. In normal times, I am sure this would be fine, but we were here during COVID and were very surprised that the shuttle did not really enforce the limits of people for social distancing nor did they consistently enforce wearing masks. The windows were up - just felt pretty unsafe to be honest. Additionally, probably only half of the people in the lobby of the building (which you have to walk through to get to this unit) were wearing masks, despite the legal notice on the door. Was not watched or enforced by the Silver Creek staff. However, this is not the fault of the unit owner and a problem that is pretty specific to this time.

Great location and nice, comfortable, well-equipped unit

We had a great stay. The unit was comfortable and spacious with a king in one bedroom and a queen in the other. There is also a sleep sofa in the living room. The kitchen was very well equipped so all that you really need to bring is food. There is a Keurig and a regular coffee pot too. There is a nice selection of DVDs, books, and games. Only too things that I would consider a negative is that the dryer is old so you need to factor in more time if you need the dryer and there is no place to store skis or snowboards other than out on the balcony. The foyer is pretty small and two small to store the gear for four skiers. Not at all a deal breaker, just wanted to make a note of it. Overall, we had a great stay. Happy new year and all the best in 2020!

Great choice - perfect for families

Pleased that property completely matches description. Kids can be tough to travel with but this accommodation has great TV, movie inventory, good cable options . . . and FAST WiFI. Near entrance, 5 fast elevators up. We brought lots of our own food. Great kitchen and with tubing, pool and our own food we came in at budget!!

We are a family of six from the Virginia Beach area. Our children are snowboarders, so throughout their school years we spent many weekends with family and friends at Silver Creek.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love the Snowshoe area, and Silver Creek is very family oriented. It is safe for kids to ski, snowboard or roam around the foyer complex. The Resort is close enough to enjoy a weekend stay. This is the only place on the mountain that has night skiing.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Once you arrive at Silver Creek, you never have to leave the complex. This is a ski in, ski out condo, with a pool, food court, shops, ski school, ticket sales, indoor/outdoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub, and shuttle bus that will take you to other locations on the mountain.
