Have a great stay in a luxury duplex in the Marais, center of Paris. There are plenty of art galleries, restaurants, shopping! The apartment has great volume (820 sqft) with ceiling beyond 4 meters ( 12 feet) except on the second floor. It is quiet and secure despite the populated street where it is. It had everything you need to spend a great time in Paris. You can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons , 2 per bedroom.
Great location-close to grocery store, sights, and subway.Be aware of low ceilings, and spiral stairway up to the apartment as well as to the upstairs bedroom. You will have to carry your luggage up. There really is just a master bedroom and bath. The main floor TV room has a comfortable Murphy bed with an adjacent small bathroom with a sink and shower. The toilet is in the laundry room through the living room and down the wallStill, we were thankful for the location and the chance to do laundry.
This is nice apartment in the heart of Le Marais. short walk to Notra Dame Cathedral. We did also walk to the Louvre on a different day, about 20 min walk. The place has a mini supermarket across the street and was very convenient. Lots of restaurants and bakeries to choose from. Nice vibe. The only downside was the place doesn't have AC and only provided one fan . Other than that the place is perfect, did not mind the low ceilings upstairs. Violeta was very attentive and asked if we needed anything.
The apartment was very cute, good character. Coffee provided which was much appreciated. As other reviewers have mentioned, the low ceilings in the bedrooms were a challenge, especially for my tall husband. The living room with vaulted ceilings and huge windows was amazing though. There is no keyless entry so that made it tough for us to split up from our adult children staying with us
We had a wonderful time at this cute apartment in Marais area of Paris. Thomas was very nice and made checking in and out very easy. There are some low ceilings in the bedrooms if you are tall -- but we used post-it notes as an added reminder to duck down when needed.
Perfect location for a stay in Paris. The apartment is very stylish and charming. Communication was great and the process was easy. Only issue is that I'm 6'3 and couldn't stand up straight in the kitchen or any of the upstairs so bear that in mind!
Property was wonderful, clean and well cared for. Made for a fantastic week in Paris. Perfect location smack in the middle of the Marais- and only two blocks to the Metro. Many places to eat, grocery and pharmacy. Only concern; if youâre taller than 5â10â, youâll be watching yourself on the low ceilings in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall- an amazing stay!
Francoise our host met us- walked us through the flat and how to use items and where things were. They left a map of the area- restaurant and shopping. Great location! Francoise checked in on us and was very prompt in responding.
If we get back to Paris - we will rent this flat again!
Highly recommend this listing!
The thought of 4 of us in a hotel room for 4 days fills me with dread so renting an apartment is a much better option. We had so much space, the house was beautiful, homely and had everything we needed. Location is great, 3 metro lines to choose from but walkable to Isle de la Cite and restaurants, cafes, Boulangeries and shops. The area felt safe at night too.
Great hosts, would stay again.
We had a lovely time in Paris! This is the perfect location, and the neighborhood is beautiful and lively. There are restaurants, stores, museums and other sites within walking distance. There is a grocery store just across the street. The Metro is nearby. The apartment is clean, safe, and well appointed. The upstairs is better for shorter people like us as the ceiling is a little low. The hosts were wonderful and communicated well. They were quite welcoming and responsive. This place was a lovely home away from home that made our trip even better.
We were 4 people staying. 2 parents and 2 teen girls. 5 nights. The apartment has 2 toilets which was very convenient. The master shower/sink/toilet room was upstairs and was comfortable size. The shower/sink in the office/2nd bedroom is very tiny, like too small for a bigger person to shower. The stairs to the upstairs are very steep, uneven and no railing. The owners don't provide much space for unpacking. 1 drawer is all in the downstairs. The upstairs had no drawers but did have a clothing rack to hang clothes. No useful drawers to use in the bathroom area either. We each received 1 shower towel and 1 hand towel. There is a combo washer/dryer in the downstairs toilet room but it would have been nice to have a washcloth and an extra towel or 2. Food was left in the refrigerator (open milk, half eaten cheese). We were a bit weirded out about that. The Ceiling height is amazing in the family/living room but literally every where else (bathroom/bedroom/kitchen/entry way) is probably 5 feet 8 inches. I'm only 5 feet 2 inches and I even hit my head on a beam in the upstairs bedroom. Check in was only available from 4pm-5:30pm which felt like a very tight window for us as we were coming from Disney and had hoped to be able to check in around 8pm. All in all it was a very pleasant stay. It was nice to be in a neighborhood and close to restaurants and metro. The apartment also felt secure.
