Our service team inspected the unit and confirmed that the appliances and other features were functioning properly, and the oven has since been replaced. They also did not find any active pest or roach activity during the inspection. Hawaii is a tropical environment, so occasional ants or other insects can occur despite regular cleaning and pest-control efforts, but we understand that this can still be concerning to guests and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Regarding the A/C, the unit does not have central air conditioning; it is equipped with individual A/C units, as noted in the listing. We also appreciate your comments about the age and condition of certain areas of the unit. While the unit has updated appliances, furnishings, ceiling fans, and several renovated bathrooms, we understand that some areas, including portions of the kitchen and guest bathroom, may appear more dated.
