Aloha Johanna, Your review is disappointing and quite distorting of the facts all done out of spite because we questioned the request of a $900 refund for “lost” groceries. Interesting now that you say the power went out during the day. Too bad you did not notify us then. In any event, when you did call that night, we had someone come right over and found there was nothing wrong at the unit level. There was no “blame”, no “annoyed” people. We just needed to get the AOAO involved which took some time. You were quite understanding at the time (which we appreciated) and never once did we say for you to make do without power. We immediately prepared another unit close by for you to move into. Which you did. The next day we contacted you three times to let you know we were working on the problem and that you can stay in the new unit until resolved. The next day we then called you early that morning and said that the power would be back on and that you can move back into your original condo. That night when you called as your code did not work in the second condo, we said yes, as we expected you to have moved back into the original condo. We gave you another temp code. Where things went south was after you demanded $900 for lost food. When we questioned why took your belongings to the new unit but left all your food behind and/or did not ask for help, you responded that you “could not be bothered”. A surprising response when you have a chef in the family that owns a restaurant. In any event, our view is you abused the situation to extort money. We gave you an appropriate refund for the circumstances and did the best we could to minimize the disruption to you.
