We were in Savannah for a mother/daughters trip. We LOVED the cottage, it was homey and within a short distance of many places. I would highly recommend staying hereâŠif we come back to Savannah we will definitely be staying here.
This was our second time at Marinerâs Cottage for a girls weekend and it was perfect. Awesome location, very clean, well stocked, and the owner was prompt and helpful when responding to messages.
This property is a perfect getaway location for a stay in Savannah. Located on the eastern side of the Historic District, it's an easy walk to the city's restaurants, squares and parks, historic house museums, and the riverfront. The cottage is perfect for two, and can accommodate two more in a second bedroom furnished with twin beds. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there's even a small screened-in porch and outdoor patio. Communication with Cindy, the owner, went flawlessly and she was prompt to return our messages. We needed nothing during our stay, however, and enjoyed three relaxing nights at Mariner Cottage. We hope to make this winter trip an annual occasion and look forward to returning again next year. Thank you for a lovely visit!
Loved our stay here! Cottage was perfect for our family of three. Very close and walkable to all the fun things in Savannah! Felt very safe walking even after dark. The house was clean and well stocked. Beds comfortable. Quiet at night.
I am happy with our recent stay and would recommend Mariners Cottage with a few exceptions (read on). We were in town for my sister in lawâs St Patrickâs Day weekend wedding. I was trying to find a place near the house she had rented and this was only about 3 blocks away, which was nice. This isnât on one of the charming tree lined streets of the historic district by any means. But that also meant less traffic and noise so I guess itâs a trade off. The cottage is quaint with a charming vibe. My college age children were originally coming with us but Iâm kind of glad they werenât there. This place would have been cramped with 4 adults. It is ok if you have 2 smaller children but 4 adults would have been on top of each other. The queen bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable. We didnât try the 2 smaller beds in the other room.. the owner provides several thoughtful touches. For example, there were already a few coffee filters and some coffee and individual creamers so we didnât have to go out and buy coffee right away. I really appreciated that! This cottage worked out perfectly for us for what our needs were for the weekend.. If it were a longer trip or if my kids had been with us, we would have wanted a larger place on one of the more typical historic Savannah streets.
we LOVED our time here. the property was so cozy and very clean. the only thing i wish we had was flat sheets for the beds, other than that, it was perfect! the location is very convenient too! parking is nice. we stayed here with our dog and had no issues.
