Véritable paradis vivant situé à 7 miles au nord sur la plage de Carova. Un séjour calme et reposant vous attend dans cette largement remodelé 6 chambres 4 salles de bain maison. Le dernier étage offre un espace généreux avec de beaux meubles et des planchers en bois clairs offrant un espace agréable et confortable à la famille pour se réunir avec une vue sur l'océan Atlantique en toile de fond. La cuisine a des appareils en acier inoxydable et il y a des téléviseurs à écran plat.

La conception et la disposition intelligente fournit de grandes fenêtres de parement à l'Est permettent à la lumière naturelle d'inonder saine au niveau supérieur. Profitez du lever du soleil à partir de la pellicule à plusieurs niveaux autour de ponts ou espionner certains des plus célèbres résidents de Carova: le légendaire entendu des mustangs sauvages espagnols quand ils paissent sur les dunes ou ébat par la mer.

Avec la piscine privée de 14'x28 'et les multiples niveaux de terrasse, il y a un grand espace extérieur avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan. Le comté de Currituck a mis en place un système de permis de stationnement pour la plage de Carova. Les permis ne sont pas obligés de conduire sur la plage pour accéder à la maison, mais ils sont nécessaires si vous prévoyez de vous garer sur le rivage pour utiliser la plage entre le 24 mai et le 2 septembre. Le propriétaire de cette maison fournit à ses clients 2 laissez-passer. Ces laissez-passer DOIVENT être retournés au bureau de la Corolla au moment du départ. Si les laissez-passer ne sont pas retournés, les invités seront facturés 200 $ / passe à remplacer. Des permis supplémentaires ne peuvent être achetés qu'au centre d'accueil Currituck Mainland ou au centre d'accueil Corolla.

OBX 4x4 Almost Paradise

Overall it was great. A few items around the property could be fixed, but the location is great and the house was everything we needed. We did have a water issue, it maintenance was sent out to fix the problem. The pool needed cleaned when we got there, that too was taken care of with proper service.

Great House and location

Perfect vacation home for multiple families

The only downfall that I can think of is that the home provides only one refrigerator. With large groups and the limited access to ice that made keeping enough beverages cold challenging.

Disappointing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of house was awesome, layout was fine, and got to see horses but after that was let down.We realize that the ocean air can be hard on the outside of the house but the inside really needs some love and care. Yes might have to spend some money but having towels that don't look like rags and bed spreads that aren't stained would go a long way. We own a lake rental and there are standards that obviously aren't being followed. An example is making sure air filters and vents are clean and no mold. I have many more but I think you get the idea.

Escape from reality

We we’re quite happy with this decision and felt it was a covid safe. Some reviews mentioned lack of cleanliness, we found the inside of the home clean. The outside is weathered but we’d expect that for the age of home and location. Our dog enjoyed morning walks/swim on beach and we enjoyed the pool every afternoon. We were perfectly relaxed and content.

Great Home on Corova Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at Almost Paradise. We were able to check in a tad early which was a huge plus bc we had small children. The home looked just as it did in the photos. It was clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tub were great. There is no home in front of Almost Paradise so the ocean views were great and there is a walking path to the beach right outside the front door so it made jogging back for a missed beach item very easy. The rental company was pleasant and easy to work with. When we come back to OBX we will likely stay here again.

“Almost” Paradise

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house has so much potential, not least of which it’s location and views. The pool was loved by all as was the sunrises and sunsets. The house itself is in desperate need of update, not just compared to its neighbors but also in general. Lights flicker, the deck has splinters useful for slaying any potential vampires, and windows sweat like a parent watching their kids walk barefoot on said decks. All in all it was a good stay, but the “almost” qualities of the house definitely detracted from the experience.

The pool and hot tub hadn’t been opened or cleaned. Sheets and towels were stained. There were ants and evidence of mice in the kitchen. Two separate closets had doors that weren’t working and the kitchen had missing cabinet doors. The management company responded fairly quickly, but I will never be back.

There is something wrong with the grousing of the wires and when stepping into the pool of you have one foot on deck and one foot in the pool you would get a shock. We brought this up and were told not to worry about it. But this needs to be addressed and fixed. For this reason alone we would not stay there again!!!

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great get away. If you love the horses this house would be great for you. They stayed on the yard for 4 days. When we got there pool and hottub was gross but they responded quickly ( and fixed them. (Most chairs around pool are broken so bring your own) The house could've been cleaner f(found trash under chairs, beds, and in corners) we had an water heater problem the whole time and called it in twice with no one showing up. We had to flip the breaker to turn many times a day. Which was aggravating when you're on the 3 floor and walk down the stairs to bottom floor just to have hot water. If you relie on the towles provided you may what to bring your own (just your motel 6 towles) kitchen was well stocked, had everything i needed to cook all week. Make sure you bring you toilet paper and paper towels before you get there. Overall we had a great week.

Very poor maintenance

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Filthy and falling apart. Hard to believe I spent thousands on having my whole family stay with us. As soon as we stepped into the house it was nothing but dirt and dust. Pillows had yellow stains and pool was over chlorinated. We were unable to swim in the pool due to this. The deck was flimsy and in poor condition. This house needs some serious TLC. Will not be staying here again.

Very ran down feel

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, very close to the beach. Bonus we seen horses everyday in our yard. BUT the house has a very ran down feel. Things were just not maintained, things like toilets running 24/7 which then made the well run constantly. The water was so chlorinated it bleached a couple of my shirts. Decks were in rough shape, light bulbs out everywhere, had to switch some around so we had light in a bathroom. While floors, bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, the house could really use a deep clean. Pool was very nice and a good size. Out door shower area should just be torn down.

Not paradise at all

Completely disappointed! Was dirty and I have pictures of everything!! Top to bottom this house was nothing like the pictures or description!! Was completely disgusting. From the pool having a dead frogs to mouse droppings and ants all in the kitchen. And forget using the downstairs hang out area it was so musty and moldy, I couldn’t breathe my allergies were terrible. I ended up in the doctors office when I got home. So if you want to see dead animals/clean up other peoples messes/go to the hospital after your vacation because you have a terrible infection from the mold and this is the house for you!

We loved all the seating around the deck, but we did realize it made it tough to gather outside with a large group because the deck is not that deep. The house has a lot of rooms, but it has a run down feel. It needs painted. There are plants coming up through the concrete around the pool. The outdoor shower is like a catch all for all sorts of ****. There are things they set aside for repair sitting around outside. The pool gate seems ready to fall off. Still. It fits a lot of people snd you can see the ocean.

Disappointed with customer service

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Poor service. We called with mainenance issues that were a danger to our family on Monday of our stay. I spoke with a lady who documented the multiple issues and never heard another word from anyone.I left multiple voicemails without a call back. We had to use the outdoor furniture to block off broken deck spindles because we have a 15 month old. Hot tub appears to have an electrical issue. Low voltage current can be felt when you touch the water with your feet on the ground outsite the tub. I was told this was normal for the area. I spoke with an electrician personally and he said to avoid using the hot tub. The house wasn't dirty when we arrived but could have used some more attention from housekeeping. Lots of sand spurs in the carpet and furniture. Neither ice makers worked and bottom level refrigerator was missing all but 2 shelves. With some maintenance and better customer service, this house would have been great.
