Small but charming & convenient

Very nice spot to stay if you’re visiting NOLA. It was very close to Bourbon St. & the French Quarter. The couch is pretty small, but we were out and about for the most part, also couldn’t get the wifi to work but the AC worked great! Overall no complaints at all about the unit! Would stay again!

Place is nice nice but motorcycle club next door Extremely Loud

You are going to stay here in this particular room please understand that there is a New Orleans motorcycle Clubhouse directly next door. Sometimes you will hear voters super loud motorcycle driving and loud music go on until 2:00 a.m. So don't expect this to be a peaceful stay if you're in this room it's hit or miss with these properties over here on Henrietta DeLisle Street and you might get a room next to the motorcycle Clubhouse or you might not it's really hard to say because they don't provide any address and look up before you stay at one of these properties. The quality of the room is fine and the water is hot at least it has a refrigerator and a stove that functions the air conditioner doesn't really get cold enough and probably needs to be It's. The climb up the stairs to this apartment is a lot and someone who's disabled or has trouble walking should avoid this particular room.

Safe, convenient, comfortable

Reviews were mostly good so we took a chance, and we are so happy with our stay. The neighborhood doesn't look super safe but everyone was polite and the apartment is gated and there are cameras around. Check in was easy, and the space was as described. There were plenty of towels, furniture and linens were clean, and the kitchen had all necessary appliances. We were a 15 minute walk from Bourbon St, and maybe 20 minutes from the French Market. I would advise ride-sharing after dark to and from the apartment, but otherwise we walked everywhere.My only suggestions, not complaints, would be to replace the couch with something bigger and more comfortable, provide a new dish sponge for each guest, and replace the shower head with something that doesn't mist all over. After a long day of walking we wanted to snuggle and rest and couldn't really settle in to watch TV on the tiny couch without falling off. The sponge in the sink was used and I would prefer not to share mouth germs with strangers. The shower was great temperature wise, and water pressure was decent, but the shower head needs to be replaced.All in all, I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again, even if nothing changed. I'll just bring my own sponge next time Thanks so much!

Serivceable

The photos show the apartment as larger than it actually is (but, honestly, what house photos don't do that). The bed is in the corner of the room, with the pillows in the corner of the roof slope, and very low to the ground. I am not even 40 and this was a great annoyance for getting in and out of bed. It was fine for 3 nights, because we didn't have a choice. The kitchenette was nice, but the K-Cup machine was crusted with hard water and there were no coffee shops closeby. Consider that when you book your stay - we had to use DoorDash for Starbucks. There is one convenience mart attached to this complex, but it's only open until 8PM. We arrived at 10:30PM and had nowhere walkable to get dinner, drinks or snacks. The bathroom was roomy, but the shower doors were on weird rolling tracks that kept coming off, and therefore the floor of the bathroom was covered with water after each shower. There was one basket thing (I'm sure it was an Amazon special) hanging in the shower for toiletries, and it broke right away, falling to the floor of the shower. There is plenty of storage space. This unit is on the top of what I assume to be a converted duplex. It was warm when we arrived, and it was only in the 70's that day. If you made it this far into my review, you'll love this! Walkable to Bourbon & Frenchman's street. I wouldn't walk alone at night, but with another person it was great. About 15 minutes (1.2 miles), and no hills or anything.

Nice place, but noisy

Clean room, hot water in the shower, cold air from the AC. Close to Marigny, especially, where we walked to/from and had a good time. My only negative is it's directly behind a motorcycle club house and the engine revving and accompanying or adjacent parking lot for folks to show off their sound systems was no joke. If I'd have been with my wife and 4 year old, we'd have had to vacate. Being with a friend, we stayed. There must be an agreement with the cops though because the noise cuts off at 10p or so.
