Nestled on 2 acres in the DFW metroplex, Alpaca Landing is THE place to stay during your visit to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Just 6 minutes from Grapevine Lake and boat launch at Twin Coves Park and conveniently located near many popular destinations, shopping and entertainment, you will find your stay (for up to 12 people) relaxing and unique. Wake up to a cup of coffee on the front porch overlooking the alpaca herd and amazing sunrise. Settle in for the night next to the fire on the private, covered back patio or get in a game of corn hole.
Separate, dedicated game house with pool table, fusball, ping pong, old school arcade game and full bathroom. Plenty of off-street, private parking including boat and RV (no hookup) parking. Televisions in main living room and all bedrooms with Sling TV provided. Bluetooth speakers in game house and main house to play your favorite streaming music.
A short 20 minutes to DFW Airport, The Gaylord and Great Wolf Lodge…35 minutes to Dallas, 40 minutes to the ballparks and 45 minutes to The Stockyards in Fort Worth. Don’t forget to schedule your alpaca feeding (included in booking) during your stay!

Perfect Stay - Hidden Gem

Our group was three families (6 adults and 2 toddlers) that came to DFW from around the country for a wedding. Sean's property was perfect! Everyone had lots of room. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. We arranged for an Alpaca feeding with Sean which everyone enjoyed. We used the full size grill and patio, and everyone enjoyed the gameroom. For anyone coming to North Texas with a group for an event, this is an awesome place to stay with exceptional hosts. Thank you!!

Phenomenal stay!

We absolutely loved this house! You have so much privacy and you don’t feel like you’re “in the city” but you’re 10-15 minutes from anything you could ever want. The house is so beautiful and spacious, beds so comfy, and the alpacas were the icing on top! We couldn’t have had a better time. Sean and Melanie were so great and very responsive, we enjoyed chatting with them each morning while getting to feed the alpacas! We have already decided to make this property a yearly girls trip!!

Mini Family Vacay

Our group consisted of my husband and me, our daughter and her husband (who are expecting their first child) and our son and his wife and their 3 year old and 1 year old. Each family traveled from about 3-5 hours away.The house was so very nice and comfortable, supplying everything we needed and more. There are multiple spaces to hang out, including a large game room that gave us time to just play games together and relax. The protected driveway was perfect for the 3 year to ride his scooter and play with his cars without any potential danger of traffic, etc. The back patio was spacious and we so enjoyed the fire pits, the corn hole game, the grill and dinner on the patio.We were invited to feed the alpacas and the host was so kind and informative. The grandkids loved it! Bedrooms and baths were very comfortable and provided extra amenities like shampoo, shower gel, lotion, fans, etc. We would highly recommend this place and would absolutely consider staying here again.

Absolutely wonderful!

The Alpaca House was truly the sweetest. The home is set up perfectly, we had a group of 10 and everyone slept comfortably. The beds are truly high quality! The owners, Sean and Melanie, were quickly responsive and available for anything we needed. We did two alpaca feedings while we were there and had such a great time. The property is beautiful and such a nice getaway from the busyness of life. We hope to stay here again!

Wonderful Experience Had by All

The property and buildings are beautiful and well taken care of. You can clearly see the owners take pride in their farm. The alpacas were adorable and while we didn't have time to feed them with our busy schedule, they were very fun to be near. There are only two things that might have made it even better: there were limited pots and pans, so our longer stay was a little limited in what we could prepare; the walls are quite thin, so anyone trying to sleep while others are up is a challenge. But overall, it was a wonderful experience. The host was extremely responsive, which was wonderfully helpful. We would definitely stay there again!!

What a great location and house is fabulous! Plenty of room and the game room was so much fun! We had 11 people in the house and it was very comfortable. The alpacas were such an added joy! Worth it!!!

Perfect Family Reunion!

This was the perfect spot for a gathering that included family ages 14 to 75. The kitchen allowed for cooking and socializing without feeling crowded and the game room was great fun for all! Back yard fire table allowed us to sit outside on a cool evening and every area of the home felt spacious - inside and out. The real stars of the visit were the alpacas and we were able to feed them the afternoon we arrived and get to know their personalities. They are wonderful!!We selected this VRBO because of its proximity to family and as a central fly-in location, but it would make a great spot for any group looking for a Texas farm feel close the airport, museums, shopping and dining.Many thanks to our outstanding hosts Sean and Melanie!

Great Week at Peaceful Ranch in the center of Dallas Suburb.

We pulled into the property that exceeded all expectations and the alpacas were a great bonus. Larger and more peaceful than ever thought about. The house was like new with thoughtful touches throughout. Furnishings were new and all rooms were spacious. The separate game room (pool table, fuzzball, ping pong, etc.), outdoor areas and indoor living rooms allowed for large crowds to seamlessly coexist. Pictures can't do this place justice, it must be experienced to fully appreciate it. Owners could be nicer and feeding the alpacs was a highlight of the week.

Best VRBO ever!

This property completely exceeded expectations! The house was inviting, comfortable and homey, with everything we needed, down to cozy throw blankets. The kitchen was equally well-appointed, with plentiful dinner plates, glassware and cooking utensils. The game room was amazing, with enough games to keep all the young adults happy. The best part was seeing the gentle alpacas from the windows and participating in their feeding times. I would recommend this property to anyone, and will definitely book again.

Little breath of fresh air

We had a wonderful stay at Alpaca Landing! Sean and Melanie were the perfect host and hostess. Communication was prompt and friendly. Their home was lovely - inside and out! There was something for every age range in our group. And the Alpaca scheduled feeding (even on a holiday weekend) was a special treat. We loved absolutely everything about our stay and are already planning another trip for next year!

New favorite place!

We have an annual girls trip and this was our first time to this area. When I saw this property online, I was so excited! And it didn’t disappoint! It exceeded our expectations and we all agreed this was our new favorite place to stay! Very clean, comfortable and cozy. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, linens, and creature comforts like espresso pods, and creamers. We thought the game room was fantastic and we were in it every night. We discovered that one of our friends has a super competitive side, as she was trying really hard to beat everyone at galaga and pool! But the highlight of our stay was our time with the alpacas!! We fell in love with them! The hosts were extremely gracious and we cannot wait until our next trip here!!

Pristine home and game room!

This our family's second time to rent this VRBO. It is spotless and has plenty of room inside and out to entertain local family members. You can arrange to feed the alpacas.

Amazing experience!

I booked this place to enjoy a peaceful getaway with my adult children and their families. It was absolutely more memorable and magical that I could have anticipated. Hosts are most kind and gracious and were wonderful with all of us during alpaca feedings - catering to the grandchildren and answer all our alpaca questions! The house is stunning and well stocked. We couldn’t have wanted for more. Close to amenities , there is so much to do, while enjoying quiet country setting at the same time. We will definitely return!.

Couldn't fit an Alpaca in our luggage

Underpromise--overdeliver. These owners have that all figured out! The property is better than described, and their communication was the best I've ever had from an owner (and we've stayed in MANY properties over MANY years). The Alpacas are a unique and wonderful feature, and my daughter-in-law couldn't get enough! The game room is just indescribably fun, and there were family ping-pong rivalries renewed! From a basket of Ghirardelli chocolates, to a Nespresso machine, a water purifier, and reasonable expectations at checkout, this property will always stand out for us in a good way! It made my daughter's wedding week so much better!

GP Girls Trip

The property was perfect. Plenty of room to spread out. Covered patio was a plus. Amenities were nice. Coffee maker was a disappointment. Would prefer Keurig. Bathrooms need more racks or hooks for wet towels. We didn’t use the game room but a family with older children would enjoy it. We would definitely come back.

Great Trip!

Our family stayed here 4 nights and absolutely loved it! The house is updated, clean, and comes with everything you'll need. Sean & Melanie are great hosts and have the coolest alpaca's. The whole family really enjoyed feeding them. We will definitely be back for our next trip.
