We had such a lovely stay! The location is amazing right next to the beach, the condo was perfect and had everything we needed, excellent communication. We stayed a couple extra days bc we were having so much fun.

The owner installed a portable a/c unit which was most helpful when we arrived. The a/c unit and fans were great at quickly cooling the unit.

Wonderful days at the ocean

We were looking for close proximity to the beach and this fit the bill. We enjoyed our stay very much and the hosts were easy to work with and very responsive. We definitely plan on staying again in the future.

Close to the SEA

We enjoyed our stay in NCV. The condo was quiet and clean and we were able ( due to variable weather conditions ) a few times to sit on the balcony land with the waves. All in all a great place to stay !

We are sorry you found the furniture not to your liking. Our leather coach and Balinese chairs have been enjoyed by the vast majority of our guests. It's also allows us to clean and sanitize between guests in a way that softer fabric furniture does not. Making sure each quest has a clean and fresh experience, especially when guests are only a few hours apart.

Could not be happier with our stay! The little condo was perfect for us and such an excellent location in proximity to the beach! We had everything we needed - the bed was comfy and there were plenty of extra blankets and towels. We were toasty warm with the fireplaces. Wayne checked in with us to see that we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Trip

Fantastic condo for two. My husband and I went to visit our son and his family stationed at Miramar. Everything was perfect. From check into to dealing with the owners, it’s super easy! It was fantastic. I would highly recommend B122.

The best hosts ever!

Stay here. The host' are responsive, they provide a condo with comfortable bed, good linens, kitchen supplies that meet a “baker’s” needs and supplies that do t run out on the third day. Every time I thought, “I wonder if they have …”, they did!! We would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you to our hosts!

Perfect Home Away From Home

The unit is well furnished and came with everything we needed. We especially loved the hotel grounds and amenities. Everyday we would enjoy a run down to the pier, followed by a visit to the hotel gym and sauna. At sunset, we took a quick dip into the ocean that was just outside the hotel fence. Several times throughout our trip we walked down to the local ice cream shop. We loved everything about our stay. Thank you!

The couch and chairs in the living room were far from comfortable. The bed was to soft as well. Staying there 3 weeks made it worse.

Perfect Location, Perfect Unit

We absolutely loved our stay! We had a cold, rainy ten days but the unit was cozy and warm with heaters and everything we needed. The location was perfect walking distance to awesome harbor bars and restaurants and close enough to pier shops and activities. Oceanside has come a long way and is clean and more upscale. We loved being so close to the beach too!We played indoor pickleball right by the pier and outdoor at Poinsettia Park. So much to do! The grounds at North Coast Village were immaculate just like our unit. We loved the heated pool and hot tub. The gym with sauna was top notch as well. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful trip! We’ll be back!

We enjoyed the location within the complex. Elevators were close and so was the excellent laundry room. We found the actual apartment very dark and would suggest it be lightened up with stronger lighting or light paint.we only met the owner the day before we left but he was very nice and I’m sure would be accomadating if you had issues. We did not.

Clean and homie condominium, the host were very informative and gave us all the information we needed for a smooth check-in. You can see the ocean from the balcony, but just as a suggestion to the host it would be nice to have an umbrella for the balcony to enjoy coffee in the morning and throughout the day without being in the direct sunlight. Be advised there isn’t any air-conditioning in the condominium, so possibly during the hot summer months it might be a little warm in there but we like it cool at night so it just depends on preference. The pool and hot tubs are nice, but they can get crowded at times and despite the rules under age kids were in the hot tubs without adult supervision. The landscape and garden areas are beautiful and amazing, better than most anywhere we’ve seen. Lots of great places to eat close by! Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. We really loved walking the beach and surrounding areas anytime throughout the day. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

I checked in at the Security Office and everything went smoothly. My unit was close to two elevators so it was convenient to reach the pool or walk to the Strand or go out the front to meet my family. The unit was comfortable and well equipped. A ceiling fan and a stand fan helped to move the air so I did not miss having AC. I did not do much cooking or eating there, but the unit had everything needed if I had wanted to. I slept very well as the bed was extremely comfy. I would definitely recommend this place to others and will try to stay here again when I visit my nephew next year. One suggestion: it would have been nice to have ice made in the trays when I arrived.

The property is beautiful.

We had such a great time. The property was beautiful. The pool was nice. We were very close to nice beaches, and fun places to eat. It was really easy to get around. The condo was nice and had everything that we needed for our trip. Wayne was great to keep us informed of our trip and even sent us information about bike rentals. The condo was clean and felt homey. It was nice to have a safe place to park the car. The Farmers Market on Thursday was fun with a lot of food choices. We loved Ty's Burgers that is within walking distance and the Succulent Coffee shop. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I would very much recommend this property to a friend/relative. The one downfall is the train that runs thru, and its loud horn, but other than that....It was great.

Thank you for your kind words Lyndi! Our main goal is to provide a comfortable place that can be used as a convenient base of operations while visiting the North San Diego County coast. We're pleased that you enjoyed your stay and hope we exceeded your expectations. The trains have been passing through Oceanside and the other coastal communities to the south since the late 1800's. They facilitated the early settlement of the whole area. Subsequent to the recent increased residential development in the coastal zone, the city has been working with the railroad to create "Train Quiet Zones" to minimize the effects of the infrequent, though required warning horn signals at grade crossings. The Oceanside Transit Center is within walking distance from our condo. Many previous guests have taken the "Coaster" trains south to San Diego, as well as, taking the "Metrolink" or "Amtrak" trains north, for day trips to other parts of southern California.

North Coast Village is a really nice complex - lush grounds, nice pool, excellent gym, and of course right on the ocean. Things are clean and well maintained. This particular unit is also nice because the balcony has shade in the afternoon so you can sit out and enjoy the outside. The owners are very responsive to any issues (we had a patio chair that broke and they quickly fixed it), and you can tell they care about keeping up their unit. The furniture could stand to be a bit more comfortable - the couch would be perfect if you are 6'8" tall, but is too deep for most of us. The bed was comfortable though and we slept great. I also liked that their parking spot doesn't have a pole on either side, so parking is less stressful. Lots of restaurants in the area, and if you are vegan we would recommend Eris and The Plot - both excellent.

We were very impressed with the speediness in communications. We had a few minor issues pop up at the immediately let me know how to take care of them. It was comfortable and clean. The living room furniture is not very comfortable, but that’s a minor problem since we didn’t sit in there too much. They have a good view of the ocean and we have always loved North Coast Village in general.

Fantastic location, feet from beach, with ocean view from the balcony

Location, location, location! Close enough to the beach to actually hear the waves crashing! There is a legitimate ocean view from the balcony and a little bar to enjoy your morning coffee and afternoon drink. The complex is relatively quiet and beautifully maintained. My mom finds it hard to get around and strolling around the huge complex gardens counted as a nice walk for her. The pool is large and there were always enough lounges so you didn't have to fight with anyone! Dedicated parking space. It was clean and very well-equipped--plenty of linens; absolutely nothing missing from the kitchen; more than enough toilet paper, dish towels, trash bags to get you started; plenty of cleaning supplies; and thoughtful details like a canvas beach bag and ice chest. The wall bed in the living room was very comfortable-I slept on it the whole month we were there. Communication with owner was always very prompt, professional, and solicitous. Truly, the only complaint I could possibly have was that the unit smelled very musty. I ran the fans daily to pull the air out the windows and that seemed to help. I did notify the owner and he did say they would look into it. This is the only reason I gave only four stars for cleanliness. Final word: I'd stay here again and again!
