House was very clean, comfortable had plenty of space for large groups. Area is very quiet with plenty of space between neighbors. Caught a ton of small striped bass off the dock with regular nightcrawlers. None big enough to eat but still fun.

This was a lovely very open space for our family gathering. Lots of space to spread out - areas in the house and outside to go if you wanted time to yourself. Had a number of boardgames in the house, as well as a hockey table. Great porch for relaxation. The host was very responsive to our questions. There were a few things we found around the house that could be added or corrected and I'm sure the host would not have a problem with doing that. Overall a lovely stay and we'd choose this place again.

The host was helpful and communicative. The bedrooms and baths were spacious and very functional for a large group. The master bath shower had trouble draining (over 18 hours to fully drain after one shower), the back porch flooded in the rain, and the outside spaces were very dirty and in need of cleaning. Otherwise, this property was exactly as advertised and nice for a weekend.

The dock is a little far from the house but we didn’t mind. Just be prepared to trek back and forth. Maybe take a wagon. The water was not swimable despite what the host said. There were jellyfish everywhere! We had fun trying to catch fish. Also, the restaurant shown on the pictures doesn’t exist and neither do half the restaurants on the welcome book. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the TV in the master bedroom never worked and the host didn’t offer any assistance. My family enjoyed the stay. The issue with the TV was minor.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the house clean and comfortable and that your family enjoyed the stay. We’re sorry the water conditions and TV did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, jellyfish and water conditions can vary throughout the season and are outside of our control. We also appreciate you pointing out the outdated restaurant information and will make sure the welcome book is updated for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us.

Three Generations Under One Roof

We had such a relaxing time at this lovely home. Some watched a movie, some worked on a puzzle, and some prepped a fabulous dinner and set the table… all at the same time! We had enough room to spread out and could not have appointed the kitchen better. What a peaceful place to unwind. Thank you
Almost finished the puzzle. Lovely view.

We are three families who love getting together to relax, unwind, and enjoy everything this special property has to offer. With over 5 acres of flat, cleared land, there is plenty of room for kids and dogs to run, play, and explore safely.

Whether it’s a friendly game of volleyball, soccer, or football, or spending the day fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, jet skiing, or boating, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy. We have created many wonderful memories at this property and are excited to share it with other families who appreciate the outdoors, quality time together, and the peaceful waterfront setting.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of privacy, nature, and waterfront living. Nestled along the Coan River with quick access to the Potomac River, it provides endless opportunities for boating, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and simply enjoying the outdoors.

What we love most is the peaceful setting. With over 5 acres of open land, there is plenty of space for families, kids, and dogs to enjoy without feeling crowded. Despite its quiet and secluded atmosphere, it remains conveniently accessible, making it an ideal place to escape, relax, and reconnect with family and friends.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

What makes this property unique is the combination of waterfront access, privacy, and open space. Situated on more than 5 flat, cleared acres with a private pier on the Coan River, it offers room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors while still having direct access to the water.

Guests can spend the day fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddleboarding, jet skiing, or boating, then return to relax on the screened porch and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Unlike many waterfront homes, the expansive yard provides plenty of space for kids to play, dogs to roam, and families to gather for outdoor games and activities.

Whether you’re looking for adventure on the water or a quiet place to unwind, this property offers the best of both worlds in a private and relaxing setting.
