Overall, very disappointing.

The host was aware of our arrival time at 4pm (it would have been 25 extra if we wanted to check in any earlier). The code to the first door worked but not for the actual unit. I had to contact him to get a new code and wait in the hallway which was extremely warm (he did respond relatively quickly). Upon entering the unit, it was 90 degrees. We noticed two air conditioning units on the floor and a fan which we immediately turned on. I notified the host of the temperature in the unit and we left to go grab food while the unit cooled off. After coming back, the apartment was now 93 degrees and reached 94 degrees before we had to leave to go find other accommodations with actual working AC. We also had our dog with us which the host was aware of. She was panting and there is no way we could have stayed there. We did not stay long enough to comment on much else. The apartment did seem clean although I noticed duct tape in the shower. Good thing one of the hotels nearby had availability and was pet friendly.
