Welcome to one of the best kept secrets in the USA...Killarney Beach (Bay City, MI). Our hideaway was recently renovated from a 3 bedroom area of our home (lower level) with a detached bathroom now into ONE LARGE SUITE with a brand new private tiled bathroom. Completely shut off from main home into your very own private water side suite! Two exterior doors face Lake Huron with a wrap-around cedar deck to relax & watch the sunrise or use the seawall stairs (4) to walk down into the water!
*Note: Water levels reached record high (2020) but are quickly decreasing. Our beach is returning @rapid rate as of April 2025!

Use our beautiful Bay City State Park to launch/anchor/moor YOUR boat right in front of the suite (our home). Or use snowmobile to glide onto the ICE to fish! Larger equipment has nearby entry access plus beautiful Bay City State Park at @beginning of our road (beach)

*North (N) or NorthEast (NE) Winds-DO NOT anchor your boat or leave unattended.

*Water Hoist NOT available for guests.

Brand new kitchen built June 2021 includes:
White cabinets & Floating shelves (dishes/pots/pans/glasses), Sink/Garbage disposal, Gray Maple butcher-block countertop, Induction Cooktop, Fridge/Freezer, & Microwave.
*Extras included: Air Fryer, Keurig, & French Press
*Outdoor use only: Blue Weber grill & Blackstone 17” Skillet along the deck (propane not included)
*We DO NOT supply mini propane tanks for each guest, but if you forget yours you can purchase one from us!😉

Two (2) full size Murphy beds were built to create more space, as well as a triple bunk bed!
If sleeping arrangements are maximized at full capacity with 2 Murphy beds in the down position (4 ppl) and the triple loft bunk beds (2-3 ppl) in the living area of the suite at night, then please turn beds back into their upright position for maximized space during the day. PLEASE follow instructions of lowering Murphy Beds.

Large Samsung flat screen TV on the wall with access to Dish Network (cable). Netflix & Amazon Prime Movies/Music included!

Beautiful silver streaked epoxy floors, freshly painted walls w/ solid wood doors. A few minor paint touch-ups taking place from time to time. Deadlocks on all doors. Keyless entry. All decor is industrial-contemporary all with a new fresh modern look using only white/grays/silvers with an incredible touch of ombré gradient bright sky blues & turquoise splashed amongst the suite to feel the water & beach while inside the UpSiDe DoWn PaRRoT too! All appliances are new and are black metallic stainless steel.

The Laundry room is not a shared space at this time, but is near the Suite quarters. if you’d like we do offer laundry service now and deliver right to you! *see add’l costs

🔥Brand new sphere-shaped Bonfire Pit facing the water. Move easily anywhere you’d like! A little closer to the water, or maybe closer to your deck seating area? You choose!
Bring your own firewood, kindling, & fire starters! *Any firewood or supplies needed will be an “add-on” cost as we are not able to supply free to each guest. *XXL Bundle $25

Along the deck-side, a large silver picnic table, 4 stackable chairs & 2 bistro table w/4 swivel chairs are ready & waiting for you! If you need anything-just let us know! NEW: 2 hammock swinging banana & horizontal lounger glider chairs!

PARKING
We have a brand new large H-Shape [half circle] drive! You have entire access of the right side of the H drive that seamlessly connects to your floating wrap around deck, which directly connected to private entrance of your suite! 3 cars/trucks can comfortably fit on your drive. Or 2 trucks w/boats on trailers. Or if you’d like to free up your trailers from the drive- you are more than welcome to park across the street (marsh side) and/or park your trailers there when not in use. No worries though on parking, space, or safety!

DO NOT forgot your BIKES!! The #1 FAVORITE ACTIVITY our guests enjoy are the bike trails along the Marsh & State Park that begin @ our driveway!
IF you FORGET your bike, or space does not allow-you may rent our bikes! See rates. Bring your camera, binoculars, & water bottle for daily excursions! Most of our guests use our bikes 2-3x a day and venture a new trail each time! You may see deer, squirrels, beavers, egrets, large turtles, lily pads w/frogs birds & ducks nearby, fish and an endless amount of critters small & big-who are comfortable w/guests. Yes, even the deer hang out in our front yard- early morning & at dusk too! And yes bikes are used year round in between snows ;) Or cross country ski or snowmobile down to the Marsh and enjoy the wildlife this way!

Any day guests not scheduled will NOT be allowed. No exceptions. Day guests ARE allowed but only agreed upon before booking & passes paid upon arrival. Don’t break our hearts- We 💗 day guests so PLEASE be transparent upon booking! 😉

Full transparency of reservation and visitors are necessary so proper setup is ready in advance!

We’ve never had anyone NOT ABSoLuTeLy love The UpSiDe PaRRoT (see reviews) but still-we are repetitive & transparent multiple times within our descriptions to be sure ALL GUESTS are satisfied & aware before booking.
