***Effective January 1, 2027, Ocean Dunes will prohibit electric vehicles, electric bicycles, and electric golf carts with lithium-ion or lithium-ion-type batteries from being parked or charged under buildings, carports, or other building structures. Guests are responsible for knowing the battery type of any vehicle or equipment they bring. Vehicles may be parked only in approved outside parking areas, provided they do not block driveways, stairways, or building access. Golf carts with standard automobile-type batteries may be charged only from the outlet assigned to that unit’s carport; extension cords may not be draped from windows, stairwells, or other areas. Due to limited charging options on the island, guests are encouraged to consider renting a gas-powered golf cart when visiting Ocean Dunes.

Embark on an adventure and explore the stunning Kure Beach and its picturesque surroundings, whether on foot or by local transportation. We highly recommend visiting the must-see attractions, including the enchanting Kure Beach Pier, the serene Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, and the fascinating North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. If you're traveling by car, you're in for a treat—our designated parking space for one vehicle makes it incredibly easy for you to discover the area at your leisure.

Other Things to Note:

Please note that the property is not directly on the beach, but it is a 3-5 minute walk away, depending on your pace.



Upon arrival, guest parking and recreational center passes will be available on the property. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to find them.



Please ensure you fill out the parking and recreational center passes with your full name, the unit you are staying in, and the dates of your stay. Ocean Dunes HOA requires that all passes be fully completed for use of our designated parking spot and recreational facilities.



Your parking pass should be displayed inside your vehicle, visible from the driver's side, to identify you as our guests.



** Currently, our dishwasher is not working, and a replacement has already been ordered; delivery is delayed until the end of the month. **



We apologize for the inconvenience. Guests can use the sink or rinse items by hand in the meantime.
