Beautiful beach view

The condo was right on the beach loved the view from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again when we return.

Quiet and peaceful

Kure is one of the most quiet and peaceful places to stay on NC coast! The condo was very comfortable with a nice view.

Great condo at a great location!

We (a family of 3) had a great time during our weekend getaway at Lundie’s place. Wonderful location, beautiful beach, a 5-minute walk away from the Fort Fisher State Historic site. The condo was super clean, it was better looking than the pictures, and the communication with the host was awesome! Lundie and her husband are very helpful and responsive hosts!! Overall a great value - highly recommend this accommodation for any couples or small families.

Quiet vacation

The location of this property is great. Very quiet end unit with no traffic. Great view of the beach from the living room. The bed was very comfortable. Nice washer and dryer in the unit.

Quiet Beach

The condo was just as it was described. It was perfect for us and our 2 adult children. We love the quieter, more secluded area of Kure Beach.

Little slice of heaven

This is our new favorite in Carolina/Kure beach area! Cleaner than any other propert we have stayed in from NC to FL! Very short walk to the beach area. Owner was very informative and quick to respond to the request to book last minute!

It was a nice place! We were all happy with the cleanliness of the condo, the beds were comfortable. And its hard to gwt any closer to the ocean. Check in was a breeze. No contact.

Could really be a nice place with a few finishing touches

We took a last minute get a way to this condo. View was great, super close to the beach, pool was cool. We appreciated the host providing beach chairs/umbrella/boogie board. Looked pretty freshly renovated and nice but wasn’t very clean when we arrived (floors dirty, fridge, counters, changed sheets, rusted nail on porch etc). Also must have recently tore up flooring on balcony, outside light hanging off wall. Could use more pots and pans (not many choices for cooking on site). No curtains anywhere in condo so felt a bit exposed as well as it was difficult for our infant to nap. Bathroom was nice and enjoyed the convenience of onsite laundry.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my stay here. The location was prime! The living/dining area was far larger than the pictures really show - but we spent all our time outside. There is so much to see and do nearby, being bored is impossible. You can go to the beach in front of the building(s), but we liked the beach that is a tiny bit of a walk towards Fort Fisher. A little farther down is another beach with a lifeguard. Or there is the pier or other areas for public parking. In short, you have many options. This seems to be an older property, and you can see some age, but that was perfectly acceptable. It was clean and well-taken care of. The host provided odds and ends such as beach chairs, pool noodle, etc. - much appreciated! I think I saw a deck of cards somewhere; possibly a few other games would be nice. There were only 2 of us, so we were good on towels, but a few more would be appropriate I think. I would have liked to try the bikes out, but they seemed kind of rusty and I wasn't sure of the overall upkeep so I passed on that. Plenty of pans and dishes. Great hair dryer - no iron. Bring your own pillows. Be prepared to have to write a note to put on your dashboard re your rental to prevent towing. Or, the host could leave a pre-written note for the guest to fully ensure a perfect stay.

New experiences

When we first got to the property we checked everything over. Made notes and messaged the property owner. There was long dark hairs on the sheets on the bed and sand. Went to change the sheets and opened the bag of spare sheets and comforter to which they all smelled like vomit. Checked the bathroom and found black hair and pubic hair around the toilet. Found sand all in the shower and in the washing machine. The sliding balcony’s door latch/ lock was broken. The kitchen light didn’t work properly and the balcony lights didn’t work at all. The last morning of our stay I heard water dripping in the bathroom and found water coming through the ceiling above the dryer from the unit above us. From the first night at the property we set the temperature to around 62 degrees because we like it cold. We would wake up to the temperature having been remotely adjusted to either 67,66, or 65 degrees. We had to continuously readjust the temperature through our whole stay. I told the owner all of this; they did offer to send the cleaning people back out but that was after requesting pictures of what we told them we found. At this point we had already cleaned the property. The owner did refund $90 of the $95 cleaning fee. The shower head leaked and I had to adjust the shower head fitting because it sprayed water out of the shower. The location was ok and the pool was nice. Access to the beach was readily available but the erosion of the beach left a lot of uncovered rocks and sandbags.

Great Stay!

Property is just as described and as it looks in the pictures. Everything was clean and ready upon arrival. Communication was great! Lundie offered suggestions from the most convenient grocery store to restaurants and souvenir shopping. All were spot on. Condo location was just great. Easy access, nice beach views and, quick and easy beach access. Very quiet and crowd free area. Really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Great location

We had a blast at Lundies condo! We did a quick last second booking for the beach this year. It has access to everything on the beach side of the main road, perfect little private beach right down the paved sidewalk. Plenty of places to eat and get ice cream with the board walk and pier right down the street. Also have the aquarium at fort fisher that’s not to far. You could also access the four wheel drive beach if you would like in fort fisher. The condo was perfect for our little family of four! Thanks so much! We will keep this in mind for next time!
