Mashnee island house

Had a great time. House was as advertised nice and clean. 2 negatives were the fishing which I’ve concluded we need a boat for. And the 2 bathrooms are small without enough counter space.

End of summer vacation

We enjoyed our stay for the week. The house was super spacious. More so than it shows in the pictures. The kids loved the playground area. And we all loved the quick walk to the beach. Although we missed the sound of ocean waves (we could have driven a bit for that but chose not to). It was really nice to have a high chair and crib provided so we didn’t have to pack those things. Also, any questions or concerns were answered quickly. The only negatives- some a/c issues in the master, and lack of a/c in the bunk room. Overall- great stay with lots of amenities.

Lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood

The house is awesome. Very spacious for 7 of us. Plenty of parking, lovely backyard with a playground for children and babies. Bikes to ride, a nice working grill, patio chairs and tables and fireplace. The high chair for our baby was also nice to have. The Mashnee Island neighborhood is so relaxing and quiet. The private little beach in the neighborhood was a convenient touch as beaching in The Cape can be hectic, so this saved us money, time, and driving. We wished we could have stayed longer! A few things I would add as feedback that if were changed would make this place 10/10. First, the room with the two single beds doesn’t have AC, and I don’t think the listing mentioned that. We were able to keep the room cool by keeping the door open but with 3 separate families staying here, it would have been nicer to keep the door shut for privacy (same with the bunk bed room). Next, the floor really could have used a mopping and vacuum. We actually had to vacuum the whole house as soon as we checked in because of how dirty the floor was. Lastly, the kitchen can use some more essentials. There is no tea pot, there were missing lids to pots and pans, just a lot of random cookware that made cooking meals a little awkward. Otherwise, we really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely come back. Thank you for a great vacation.

Beautiful part of the Cape

Enjoyed the stay very much. There were problems getting in the property because of a e-lock issue, but we got in after a delay. The house is great for family groups very spacious and well laid out. My grandchildren loved the back yard and play set. The kitchen and appliances worked well and made it comfortable to eat in and washer/dryer and 2 bathrooms all worked well. We were there during a heat wave and the air conditioning could have been better, but the negatives were minor and the positives were great. We really had a great time with our crowd of 8 adults and 3 young kids. Great house.

Great House

What a wonderful house in a wonderful location. The house was furnished thoughtfully and comfortably, was spotless, and had a fully usable kitchen. The outside play area was perfect for our young ones. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach. We look forward to renting the house again next year!
