Lake Muskoka 4 BR chalet avec toutes les commodités et une plage de sable. Directement sur le lac Muskoka. Terrain plat et sécuritaire entouré d'arbres avec beaucoup d'intimité. Cuisine en granit et acier inoxydable, lave-vaisselle, laveuse et sécheuse. La maison principale dispose de 3 chambres: une chambre principale queen avec une baie vitrée donnant sur le lac, une chambre d'hôtes au bord du lac avec un lit queen qui est parfait pour 1-2 adultes, et dans la troisième chambre, les enfants ou les adultes peuvent dormir dans 2 jumeaux.
Si vous avez des invités, ou si quelqu'un veut plus d'intimité, profitez du bunkie séparé, avec 2 lits jumeaux, sa propre salle de bain et douche. Le bunkie dispose de 2 chambres et peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes si vous utilisez le canapé-lit.
Avoir une exposition sud à Muskoka est probablement la principale chose à rechercher si vous aimez le soleil. Ici, vous trouverez de vastes ponts sud à plusieurs niveaux pour se détendre ou manger, et si vous voulez vous évader, montez sur la terrasse du hangar à bateaux où règne la paix et la tranquillité, une vue à couper le souffle sur le lac, une table de patio pour dîner ou divertissant, et des chaises longues pour 4.
Vous êtes-vous déjà allongé la nuit à la recherche d'étoiles filantes? Vous trouverez la pluie de météores ici chaque mois d'août dans un ciel étoilé de campagne.
Guimauves rôties la nuit dans notre foyer au bord du lac.
L'eau est chaude, grâce à la baie peu profonde, qui permet également d'éloigner les plaisanciers itinérants.
Vous pouvez amarrer votre bateau ici ou utiliser nos canoës et kayaks pour explorer le lac. Prenez votre café du matin au bout du quai et écoutez les huards.
Besoin de prendre quelque chose? Le magasin général de Glen Orchard est à 5 minutes. Les restaurants de Bala, Port Carling, Gravenhurst et Bracebridge sont tous facilement accessibles. Ou profitez du golf, du tennis et de la randonnée à proximité.

We continue to enjoy Peter’s classic property every summer. The cottage feels remote but Bala and Port Carling are right around the corner. We shall return!

This is a repeat visit to this cottage so there are no "unknowns" for us.The road in from the highway is in great condition.Upon arriving, the cottage was clean and neat. The VRBO picture needs updating as the white shutters and new screen door on the Muskoka Room enhance its look.Non-motorized "boats" were used constantly.Bala Marina is close by for renting.Luckily, we had fabulous weather - hot, sun with clouds, rain during one night, and calm waters.

We loved our week at the Brook's cottage.

We spent an awsome week. We were busy using the kayaks, the paddle boards, the canoe that came with the cottage and our boat that we brought over at the dock.When we felt lasy we just sat on the dock and looked at the ducks that came by everyday. The cottage is in the bay so it's a lot quieter than the lake. It also has shallow sandy beach which we loved to have. We finished the day around a fire and looked at the sky filled with stars. We even had the chance to see shooting stars a few times! The cottage is pretty roomy. It had everything we needed. (Although we spent every minute of the day outside!) It has a well equipped kitchen to cook our meals. The beds are very comfy. Our teenagers loved to have a place for themselves in the bunkie. Bala is a cute place to visit. It has a good size grocery store called Freshmart which is pretty close to the cottage. A few restaurants to choose from and a few boutiques as well. A coffee shop, and a ice cream shop too. We were so sad to pack our bags at the end of the stay and to leave this piece of paradis. Thanks Peter for giving us the opportunity to live in such a beautiful place. We truly appreciate.

Great family vacation

We had a great week at this cottage. It had everything we needed. Furniture and beds were comfortable! We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and the kids loved the water. Peter was prompt at answering my questions and even called during our stay to check in.

It feels like you're miles from civilization when you're at Peter's cottage, but in reality you're only minutes from Bala and Port Carling where you can get anything you need. It's the best of both worlds. Quiet spot on the lake....and Peter was easily accessible and great to work with. We would not hesitate to book here again.

Great location. Sun all day plus beautiful sunrises in the morning and sunsets at night. Great sandy beach and shallow water around the dock. The boathouse deck was great and the dloating dock a great bonus. The beds were super comfy and there are 2 fridges, which is great for all the food. There is some noise from the highway, that is quite close by, but the sound of the waves helped. Great place! Would definitely reccomend.

Wonderful cottage, exactly like the pictures

We loved the cottage and kids really enjoyed the fact that the beds were really comfortable. The cottage has all the amenities needed to spend a great time reading on dock or on the patio. we went kayaking almost every day and it is easy to stay out of an area where the boats and water jet skis are. The stars were amazing. We were a little worried as there were large cottages across the lake but they were good at turning off their lights at night. The week-end (friday night/saturday) tended to be busier on the lake but we love the place none the less. Ducks came to say hi regularly and there were beautiful birds and a chipmunk who came to visit us regularly on the patio by the house. We also brought a badminton net and there was enough space to install it by the lake. The firepit was also great and there was no bugs at night!

Family Fun!

Another good week for our group on Lake Muskoka. Beds were soo comfortable. Big comfy couches. Dock space perfect for our boat. Free public boat launch close by in Port Carling. Lots of seating about the property. Kids loved the raft to swim to and the kayaks. Also good for small kids as there is a sandy, shallow entry. Dining on the boathouse roof was a highlight as were the campfires. Location is close to Hwy 169- easy access to Bala and Port Carling. Thanks Peter!

Lovely traditional Muskoka Cottage- with upgrades!

A lovely traditional older Muskoka cottage upgraded to make it very functional and comfortable. Lots of space and great beds. A great variety of water equipment all in good condition. Close to both Bala and Port Carling yet on a quiet bay. Peter was very helpful and easily accessible to answer any questions.

Comfortable and private getaway

We had a wonderful, relaxing week at Peter's cottage! Listing description and pictures are very accurate and Peter was very responsive answering our questions. The cottage was very clean and well-stocked (kitchenware/gadgets, towels, games, VHS movies, canoe, kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets). Peter provided a great document outlining the rules and how everything works (garbage, dishwasher, etc). We were 6 adults and 2 dogs, so it could feel a bit crowded at times (bedrooms are small), but on the nice days we spent all our time outside so that didn't matter much! The cottage is located just a 5 min drive to Bala and 10 min to Port Carling, which had all the amenities we needed. The lake water is just terrific. Warm, clean and very swimmable. The bay is quiet and we only saw a few boats in our area during our stay. We took full advantage of the calm bay and spent so much time paddle boarding, swimming and kayaking. All in all, we enjoyed our time immensely and would definitely return!

Wonderful!

My husband, two young daughters and I had a wonderful week at this lovely Muskoka cottage this summer. We visited with our parents (children's grandparents) and siblings (kids' aunts and uncle) throughout the week, and everyone had a great time. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at night; taking the canoe, kayak and paddle board out on the water; swimming off the dock and swimming platform; building sandcastles on the small beach; simply enjoying the beautiful view; and hanging out in the lovely cottage. All in all, a great time was had by all!

I've been coming to Muskoka since I was 2, and was lucky to buy a cottage near Bala in 1987. I go there every chance I get, and our 3 kids spent their whole summers swimming, canoeing and being outdoors. Over the years we have upgraded just about everything.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Lake Muskoka is a little piece of heaven on earth. Not too hard to get to, but a world away from the city. You want to be on one of the 3 big lakes: Muskoka, Rosseau or Joseph. They all connect in the hub of Port Carling, where shops and restaurants have sprung up and become a fun destination themselves.
