Welcome to Up and Away! Nestled on 2+ acres, this beautiful home was carefully designed to provide renters with every amenity they could need. The home offers 6 bedrooms (5 kings and a spacious bunkroom including 2 queen over queen bunks with queen trundles and 2 twin beds that sleeps 14), and 6.5 bathrooms with a total occupancy of 24 guests. Located in Banner Elk, NC in the family friendly community, Eagles Nest (just down the road from Great Camp that features numerous amenities).

Take in the gorgeous year-around mountain views from the 2,677 square feet of decking and outdoor living space. On the upper level, enjoy cooking in the outdoor kitchen with a roaring fire or watching your favorite show on the 55” 4K Smart TV. Featuring a built in Lynx pizza oven, Napolean gas grill, a Traeger Timberline XL pellet smoker and ample prep area making this a grill master's dream! On the lower-level deck, enjoy taking a dip in the 10-person hot tub while watching the game on the second outdoor 55” 4K Smart TV or enjoying a wood burning fire.

Access the beautifully landscaped side yard from either deck and play corn hole or have a fire in the stacked stone firepit. Enjoy a peaceful nature walk on the private hiking trail that features locust handrails and flagstone steps that you can easily access from the side yard or driveway. The trail goes through the woods across the back of the 2-acre property where you can stop and enjoy stunning views from the seating area in the middle of the trail.

The large accommodating kitchen was designed to bring out your inner chef. Featuring a 48” gas range with double ovens, double commercial refrigerator/freezer, beverage/wine fridge and over-sized kitchen island. Cleaning up is a quick and easy, with two sets of dishwashers. Spill something during dinner? No problem, simply toss it into one of two washer/dryer sets in the laundry room just down the hall on the main floor near the garage and drop zone.

For entertaining, head to the lower-level game room that features an elite 8.5-foot pool table, poker table (with poker chips, cards, and auto shuffler), and a Dutch shuffleboard game called Sjoelbak. Grab a drink at the wet bar or pop into the lower-level kitchenette with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. The basement game room also features a movie theatre experience with a 75” 4K high definition tv with a Sonos Arc, above the gas fireplace, and power reclining leather sofas.

Have a large group? No problem, this house includes 4 king ensuite rooms with porch access, 1 king room with access to a spacious bathroom across the hall and an oversized bunkroom that includes 2 queen over queen bunk beds with queen trundles and large private bathroom. The bunk room also has a side room with two twin beds. For some extra fun, head into the bunk room's game nook that features a 55” 4K Smart TV and a gaming system that has more than 400 Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Sega Genesis games.

The master suite features automatic blinds, a spa bathroom with heated marble floors, separate vanities, copper soaking tub, and a marble shower with 3 shower heads. Take in the beautiful mountain views on a private decking area with 2 swivel/rockers and table.

There are 11 Smart 4K TVs in and out of the home. Cable is provided through YouTube TV, so you can listen to some great playlists or catch your favorite live game. The upstairs great room features a 65” Smart TV with a Sonos sound bar above the gas fireplace and automatic blinds. There is a Sonos sound system in the home and on the porches with built-in speakers. Central AC heats and cools the home. Guests have access to the two-car garage and there is parking for 6 additional vehicles. There is also a whole-house generator, just in case!

Additional Notes:

- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home and not requesting an exception to the posted rules.
- This property has 3 exterior security cameras, Camera 1 is a doorbell camera at main door. Camera 2 is on right corner facing driveway entrance. Camera 3 is on left corner of garage facing the driveway. No cameras monitor the interior of the property or common gathering areas.
​​​​​​​- Four-wheel drive vehicles are required during winter months and snow chains recommended for use in snow and ice. The driveway is newly paved with room for up to 8 cars, but the roads leading to it are steep.
- Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV. Secure an ATV rental while staying in The Lodges at Eagles Nest! Ask for additional details.
- All rentals at The Lodges at Eagles Nest are subject to an amenity fee. Some amenities at The Lodges at Eagles Nest are seasonal and/or subject to certain hours of operation.
- Guests must supply their own sports equipment for use on the ball fields and sports courts.
- The Lodges at Eagles Nest offers a summer series of concerts open to all guests, with an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night plus tax.
- This home has a Level 2 EV charger.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Amazing place!

This home was absolutely amazing. The view was unbelievable and we hardly left the first and second floor decks overlooking the mountain! More space than you can imagine and check in and check out was simple.

Great home - poorly managed

We rented this home last year and loved it so much, we decided to return, only to be extremely disappointed with it's upkeep and management. -light bulbs out, missing hooks-clogged sink and broken toilet-kitchen appliances not working properly or at all-wasn't cleaned on time for check-in, delayed 3 hours-arrived to no comforters on the beds with temperatures in the teensThis really is a beautiful home with so many great qualities (see my previous review from March 2024) but the management company has not been keeping up with this home. I'd be upset if I were the owner.

Wonderful Rental!

We rented this home for a long weekend for our small business company retreat and it was perfect for our needs. PROS- -Plenty of space for our 12 people. Such comfortable seating in every room. Beautiful home. Well-styled, minimal decor with big windows for lots of sunshine. -Amazing views! We had beautiful sunsets. -Hot tub was well-used and appreciated by our guests, it was amazing! -Well-stocked kitchen. We hired a private chef to feed us all and she had everything she needed. -So clean and felt brand-new. -Lots of room in the driveway for our 7 cars. -Lots of hang-out spots; outside fireplaces & TVs, firepit, downstairs basement with pool table, poker table, mini fridge, etc. We never needed more space or things to do. SUGGESTIONS FOR OWNERS- -There were speakers outside on the deck and in the kitchen but we could never connect to them. We were able to connect to the Sonos sound bar through the TV but it would have been nice to use those speakers instead. Would suggest putting directions or explanations in the binder on how to work any of the sound elements; we just got by because we're slightly tech savvy. -the ice maker couldn't keep up, highly recommend an ice maker be put in somewhere on the property -there needs to be a trash can on the bottom floor, we had to keep carrying our trash back upstairs -the dual shower heads in the master bedroom did not work, we could only get the hand-held to work -one of the bedrooms downstairs had a door knob that wouldn't latch
