Escape to a Tranquil Oasis: Immerse yourself in the serenity of our stunning lakefront home, where peace and relaxation await you at every turn. Nestled on the shores of a picturesque lake, our inviting retreat offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and natural beauty.

The space:

Enjoy private access to the guest suite with stunning views right from the bed. Back deck with outdoor furniture to seat 10 people, 2 Meeden professional painting tripod, 2 Kayaks, Paddle boards, boat dock, games, are shared between all rental guests.

OUTDOOR SPACE:

Offers a shared large dock with 6 person conversation couch with fire pit and a 4 person seating group, boat dock for your boat. Relax with our Meeden Art set with French Easel for painting for both Adult and kids, pre drawn canvas provided.

BEDROOM:

Mini fridge, microwave, TV in the bedroom with access to streaming services.

GENERAL:

High speed free wifi available, complimentary toiletries, central A/C, hair dryer, shower caps, iron/board, trash bags & paper towels, linens & towels.

Dock is great for fishing, kayaking, swimming, nature watching.
Guest access
Boat dock with Kayaks available for use during your stay.

The people who live there were very loud. They were up before 6 am on Thanksgiving cooking and making noise. It looks run down. There are mold stains in the bathroom. Would not stay here again.

Had we been informed during your stay that the other rental guests were being loud, we would have promptly reached out to them to address the issue, as we have strict quiet hours in place to ensure a peaceful environment for all our guests. Regarding the mention of mold stains, we want to clarify that our home does not have any mold issues. What may have appeared as stains could be from normal wear in the bathroom, but we are always open to inspecting and addressing any concerns brought to our attention. This place offered a very comfortable bed, a beautiful view of the dock, and the water, and even provided painting materials and easel for me to have a quick self-care getaway. Thank you so much for providing us opportunity for me! Totally suggest this place.

Very nice space

Nice, clean place. Kinda weird to share the outside deck area but we got lucky and the rental next to us didn’t seem to want to go outside so we didn’t have to share. It would be great to come back with the grandkids and rent the entire place.

Nice for a weekend getaway

The hosts were great and communicating with them was very easy. The room is nice and the property is well maintained. We were a little surprised that it was just a room similar to staying in a hotel so no kitchen. I’m sure if I had looked at the listing a little closer I would have seen that it didn’t have a kitchen. The listing wasn’t deceiving, I just didn’t pay attention. All in all, it was a very nice place to get away!

Awesome experience.

Christina and Sam were the best hosts. From booking, to checking in and out, they were quick on responding for any questions or concerns. As soon as we arrived everything was just so clean from the driveway all the way to the room. I came with my wife and our 3 year old and 3 month old son and they loved it. Bathroom, bed, carpet, and everything all around spot on clean. My son caught his first fish there! Best highlight on the trip and just being with my family there felt like home. Can’t wait to be back and Forsure will rent the other part of the house. Thank you again Christina and Sam!!

Convenient and Comfortable!

Nice short stay! I would recommend renting both sides of this home. I had laborers staying on the other side of this home on the second day. They kept looking through the window on my side. I believe it is a cultural thing for them, but it made me uncomfortable. I don't think they understood that one does not look through another’s window, repeatedly. They were speaking in another language.

We did not realized that the outside deck and dock were shared spaces with people who rented the adjoining house. Although it is vaguely mentioned in the ad, we felt that it was not explicit enough and led to us canceling our second night. The other renters were smoking weed and had a small child who would pound on the adjoining door and stay up late watching loud movies. Obviously this isn't the owner's fault, but it is something to be aware of if renting this room. Additionally the AC and fridge were not on when we got there (on a 100 degree day) and the outdoor spaces were dirty and covered in spiderwebs. The hosts were accommodating and kindly got us a full refund for the second night despite the misunderstanding being on our end which we really appreciated. Would recommend renting the entire property if interested in this place.

We believe this could have been avoided if our listing details, where we clearly state in multiple sections that the deck and dock are shared had been read before booking. We also conserve energy by not running the AC or fridge when vacant. Quiet hours are strictly enforced, and we would have addressed any concerns if notified during the stay. Outdoor smoking is allowed, and while we clean all outdoor areas before check-in, nature may bring dust or spiderwebs. We encourage future guests to read our full listing to ensure it’s the right fit.
