Indy 500, convention center, and major events ready.
Mature, quiet neighborhood. All new appliances. Close to downtown and centrally located in Indianapolis. Six foot fence. 2 car attached garage. Full, unfinished basement with washer/ dryer. Tankless water heater. New hardwood floors throughout. Half an acre of land. Well insulated home. Custom finishes. 82" big screen.
We were in town for a convention with friends and the space was great for two families with little kids. Owner was very flexible and accommodating with our scheduling and even dropped off a hose so the kids could play with water toys in the backyard.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Nice Rental, poor experience
After paying my stay in full, 2 days before we arrived, without discussing it with me, at midnight the owner added $260 in charges. He claimed they were for "electric" and "cleaning". He also informed me that 1 of the beds he had advertised hasn't arrived yet and would hopefully arrive during our stay. (It didn't. He even sent me an email from amazon proving it.)
I was in town for business and during my stay he bothered me with things such as his camera being off, and asking me to bring in a package (the missing bed) that had never actually been delivered.
The place was nice, the neighborhood was okay, but the random pop up fees and missing bed made this a fairly unenjoyable experience.
We rented this house to watch the solar eclipse and it was great for that purpose. The backyard is large and flat and was great for our grandchildren to run and play.
The house is an older home that has been remodeled and up dated. The bathrooms are remodeled, nice and clean. The kitchen is stocked with a lot of pots and pans and supplies for cooking about anything you want. The Keurig was great to have in a rental.
There were a few problems with the kitchen refrigerator and the dishwasher that did not work. The owner was very responsive to my messages and came to the house to try and fix them. He couldnât and had to call a repairman, but we were gone before they were fixed. There was a refrigerator in the garage that we were able to use during our stay. My concern with having small children with us was the entrance from the garage into the kitchen. There is a small landing where the basement stairs go down and it is open and unprotected. I would suggest some sort of hinged gate or half door to make it safer. Also, the owner should purge out the canned goods etc that were left behind.
We were very comfortable here and enjoyed the space and watching the wildlife. We would stay here again if our travels take us back that way.
