Your days can be spent relaxing and soaking up the sun, shopping around the area, dining at yummy local eateries, or enjoying adventures on a dolphin cruise, charter fishing trips, and more! If you're looking for the best destination for a dream vacation – look no further than Salty Pointe at Summer Salt!

Brand new home with the best view in the subdivision is the perfect spot for your vacation! With 1507sq ft of tastefully appointed space, you'll have plenty of room to make yourself at home and stay cozy during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities for cooking delicious meals and features a bar with barstools for extra dining space. Drip-style coffee maker and Keurig, both are provided. In the living room, there is plenty of seating with a pull-out sofa sleeper that offers an additional spot to rest at night. The living area also features a full bathroom and sliding glass doors that lead out to a porch where you can enjoy your favorite drink while you chat about the day's plans.

In the master bedroom, you'll find a cozy king bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring a large shower. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed and another en-suite bathroom! The second guest bedroom has two full beds and of course, an en-suite bathroom as well.

The Summer Salt complex features a zero-entry resort style pool, an entertaining cabana, community fire pit and a putting green!
The public beach access is only .5 miles away!

Whether you are looking to relax or seek adventure on your vacation, location is everything and this location allows you to create any kind of experience you would like! Along Perdido Beach Boulevard, numerous dining destinations are available, as well as souvenir shops, clothing boutiques, and family-friendly entertainment. When the sun goes down, enjoy the night life of Orange Beach with fresh drinks and live entertainment at several venues along the beach.

You are just minutes from every activity the island has to offer whether it's sport fishing on the Gulf, reading a book on the beach, parasailing, hiking the Backcountry Trails, glass blowing and pottery throwing at the waterfront Coastal Arts Center, shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall and just a few miles away from the OWA Amusement Park and Entertainment Complex.

* AGE RESTRICTION: Policy strictly enforced 25 years or older with renter 25 years old staying in unit. No refunds for anyone trying to rent that is not at least 25 years old.

* PARKING RESTRICTION: There are 3 reserved parking spots under the home. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

* WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: While all Sands of Alabama rental units are set up for normal housekeeping, the properties will NOT have hairdryers; cleaning products; or toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and soaps intended to last for the duration of your stay. Each rental property is furnished with a starter set of paper products for your first night. This set includes one roll of paper towels, a small bottle of liquid dish soap, one powder dishwashing packet, one can liner per trash can, one travel size hand soap and body soap per bathroom and one roll of bathroom tissue in each bathroom. Please bring extras.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Summer Salt! Property was great and had plenty of room for our family.We walked to several wonderful restaurants and beach access was a short walk too!

Lovely home

Our family of 8 stayed here and there was enough room that we didn’t get annoyed or in the way! We have a child with autism and so the house being next to the pool was a plus! It was very clean and everything up to date. Loved that it was close to restaurants and stores but not so close that you have to deal with lots of traffic. Will definitely keep this location in mind for our future vacations!

We loved the location and layout of the property. Nice to sit on balcony and enjoy the view of the water. Super nice having bathrooms in all bedrooms. Plenty of parking. Beach access close by. We'll be back!

Spring Break March 2025

Overall, a nice stay, cute house and great location. The house could really use a deep clean though. The walls are all marked up from luggage and dirty hands. Stained living room rug. The bathroom toilet seat lids are stained yellow and therefore, looked dirty. The refrigerator drawers had food crumbs in them. It looks as though the cleaners do a quick job, and don't really take the time to thoroughly clean the property. Back yard sand fire pit area is starting to get overgrown with grass/weeds. We also found a hermit crab a couple days into our stay crawling along the dining room baseboards. It was clearly someone's pet or bought as a souvenir as it had a hand painted shell and was left behind.

Great Property

The property was very nice, clean, and as outlined on the listing. The pool was great. Bring your own putter/golf balls if you wish to use that putting green. Close to attractions and shopping.

Clean and Peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay at the salty pointe!! It was super clean, the kitchen had all the appliances we use at home, the beds were very comfortable and I like that there were extra soft blankets provided in each bedroom for those who desire to be wrapped up in softness while lounging!!

Spring Break Family Getaway

For Spring Break we brought our family here! We had my parents, my sister’s family (middle school kids) and my family (kids 5 and under). The location of the house was great! We were close to great dinning, fun attractions and of course the beach! The kids spent a lot of time at the pool which was less than a minute away. We were surprised to learn that alligators and snakes could be found within the swampy area around the house, and we did see several alligators but they left us alone. This meant we couldn’t use the outside area of the house other than the balcony. The house itself was nice and beachy. The walls could use some touch ups but honestly the bones and layout were great! We liked that all of the bedrooms were on the upper level so that while the adults enjoyed a game night, the kids could be asleep upstairs. The neighborhood was quiet overall and we always felt safe. We liked that each room had its own bathroom/shower so each family had their own space. We wished there was a hairdryer, but we were notified beforehand so we brought our own. My mom wished there was more than one roll of toilet paper (1 per bathroom) and paper towel given, but I honestly think that’s how most places do it. Overall it was an enjoyable trip that met the needs of our group from baby to adult!

Great private home

The home sits by its self making it very secluded even though it’s in a neighborhood. Pool area was nice as well. Could do with some seating with a table on ground level so you can sit outside and stay dry when it’s raining, etc.

Good Experience

The house is very new and clean, near to beach, location is very good, close to retail store and restaurant. Only issue is the supply, need to bring your own trash bag and shower stuff, but except that ,everything else is good. Thank you.

Enjoyed our stay. Exactly as pictured. Seemed brand new. Great location, close to everything. The listing says it isn’t stocked with basics, they aren’t kidding. Would have appreciated a trash bag, coffee pod, counter spray, sponge, ect…I guess if you are staying for a week it’s not a huge deal to buy all of that stuff. We just stayed a few days. would definitely stay again, just know going in you need to stop at the store!

All in all good. I do believe there may be an issue with the AC upstairs just an FYI. Doesn’t seem to be cooling correctly, the humidity was abnormally high. Also in the bedroom with the two beds, there is some kind of small leak in the ext wall. Not enough to show wet sheetrock or trim. Clothes/bags that were left on the floor overnight were wet in the mornings. Several of us that stayed including myself build homes and we were not able to narrow down from what we could see. Great new place

Pros: Brand new in every way. Very well provisioned in the kitchen area, with great appliances. Nice new furniture. Upright vac to use on the floors. Great location in Orange Beach & in the neighborhood, on an isolated private point of land. Cons: No closet on the main floor, so no place to store shoes and jackets. (Who designs these places?) Takes FOREVER to get hot water at any faucet; wastes lots of water. Wi-Fi was iffy. We had trouble connecting at times & experienced issues while watching TV, which was all streaming - and there seemed to be no way to get local channels either. Weird dimmer light switches on some lights; and none where they would be nice, like in the dining & living rms. Could use a few end tables in the living room to make it more practical. Summary: Fantastic place! Fun watching the gator, turtles, birds and otter in the pond it’s on. We would definitely stay here again.
