Kauai charm at affordable upstairs studio, walk to everything

Paniolo 210B - this lovely Paniolo studio is a comfy, convenient, and tranquil home base for your exploration of Kauai. It's an upstairs unit, quiet and away from the road, very close to the path to Anini beach and to the walking path through Princeville. Start your day with a walk along the greenbelt enjoying rainbow, waterfall, and golf course views in the cool morning air. Follow the greenbelt path all the way to the end and enjoy a relaxing oceanfront brunch or spa treatment at the Hanalei One Hotel, it's the perfect way to spend a morning. Take a 10 minute hike along the path to Anini Beach for a swim and stop in at the Westin on your way back to grab a coffee at Starbucks or lunch either indoors or out. Stroll over to the park on Saturday mornings for the outdoor market, you're sure to find something there that you love! The Princeville center, with grocery shopping, wine shop, and restaurants, is an easy walk. Hanalei, one of the most amazing spots on earth - whether you like beach, shopping, dining, or all of the above! - is a 10 minute drive.

This restful condo is lovely for a couple, with its comfortable king bed and large full bathroom. With a kitchenette equipped with sink, fridge, microwave, electric skillet, toaster oven, blender, coffee pot, rice pot & kitchen utensils (NO STOVE), you'll be able to prepare simple meals at home and dine al fresco on your private lanai. An in-unit washer/dryer is included. Note that there is no television, but you can use the free wifi to stream on your own device. Beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cooler are provided for your convenience. Enjoy the complex shared pool and barbecue grill.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, but you'll find the cooling tropical tradewinds keep you comfortable and let you enjoy the scent of the fresh sea air.

This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.

This home has internet, but the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

Newer remodeled bathroom with updated washer and dryer. Very clean and well stocked. Even though it was an efficiency it came with quite a few countertop appliances including a microwave and toaster oven and even an electric frying pan. Location was great and the host was very responsive and communicative.

The stairs are slippery and my friend fell and hurt her foot. Could use a grip tape on the stairs. I loved the layout. The kitchen was cozy and clean. The bed was very difficult to get comfortable in. You could feel the wear of somebody sleeping on the right side of the mattress.I loved the trail hike nearby.It was difficult to get ahold of anyone about my friend falling. No one answers the phones over the weekend it seems.

we really enjoyed our stay here! they have a lot of cool stuff for the beach like beach chairs and snorkels. i think even an umbrella. plenty of towels! only thing is there’s no TV. but overall we had a great time and the place was wonderful. would recommend!

Cozy Home Away from Home

The apartment suite was great! Everything was super clean and the bathroom was extremely spacious! There were even boogie boards, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and two snorkel/fin sets to use in one of the closets. The kitchenette allowed for some simple cooking, and the sunny balcony was amazing for eating and relaxing! We loved our stay here!

Studio condo in Princeville

Very nice studio condo! Location was perfect for a short walk to the beach for our morning coffee, or to the shopping center. (Both walks were about 1/2 mile, though the beach walk was a bit of a descent). Kitchen was well stocked for light cooking for those who prefer to eat in sometimes. We appreciated the small touches like the beach chairs and umbrella, and the rain umbrella, too!

Nice stay.

Nice location to head a little north or south for beaches. The condo is in a neighborhood of condos. This particular condo complex is quiet, not busy, nice. I especially like the path behind the condo to the beach. Simple but everything we needed.

The location of the condo was okay. It was okay clean, the sofa needs a good cleaning, bed cover had stuff on it. Pillows were not very good. Wish there was a few more cooking options like a stove top. Appreciate there was a BBQ by the pool to use. Neighbors were very noisy.

Good north shore home base

My husband and I stayed at Paniolo for the tail end of our honeymoon in Kauai. I didn’t realize this VRBO was managed by a company so after booking, all communications and payment was through their own system… I would have preferred to use VRBO directly. Overall this was a good location for visiting spots on the North Shore. Easy drive to Hanalel and great beaches up there. The parking situation is weird. It’s a free for all until 5 and then reserved parking is enforced. I don’t know why it’s not just park in your spot all day but it didn’t really cause us any issues. The shower doesn’t have a curtain so water got EVERYWHERE. The place was nice, clean and comfortable for our brief stay. I would not have attempted to cook anything more than toast or heat up leftovers. The beach equipment was helpful but the straps on the chairs are broken so they’re hard to carry. Overall a good spot if you aren’t planning to spend much time at home.
