Great property. Home was everything we hoped for, the pictures don't do it justice. The owners have done a great job updating this cabin to be a great family friendly vacation spot. Great space, comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms. We would love to return again.

Our kids loved swimming in the lake. The house was perfect! Plenty of space, everything that was provided was very appreciated! Comfortable beds and couch!

Great stay, comfortable home

Our family enjoyed our stay, the home is comfortable and there is amazing wildlife in the area. The home is off the beaten path so it’s very quiet. The deck is wonderful and the lake was enjoyed by all! Would stay again

Love it!

If you are looking for privacy and serenity with all the modern conveniences, this is the place to pick. Plenty of space to spread out but warm and cozy at the same time. The view was so lovely and the fire pit a really nice touch. The owner was very responsive and left us makings for so'mores. Really hope this place is available the next time we are in the area.

Lovely Maine log cabin

The location is very quiet and away from the very busy Bar Harbor area, but it’s still well located to allow travel to popular places, about an hour by car. The home itself is very clean with good amenities and modern/ renovated kitchen and baths but in a classic Maine camp/ cabin style. Kayaks and canoes are also available for use on the clean and quiet Green Lake. Owner is very communicative. A wonderful stay.

Beautiful Green Lake

We were impressed with the immaculate, fully-equipped, roomy cabin overlooking this peaceful, scenic lake. Our family enjoyed swimming and kayaking every day at our private beach. We spent a lot of evenings on the deck with a glass of wine or watching the wildlife. Also around the firepit with s'mores. We would certainly recommend this vacation home and appreciate the generous owners who shared their water toys with us.

VRBO Review: 77 Green Lake Tenting Way Summer Home Rental We rented this charming summer home on July 17th - July 21st, 2026. Our hosts Maury and Mary were very accommodating. The power was out the day we arrived. Our hosts made sure there was a backup generator until the power came back on that evening. This home was delightful. It had everything you could want and more. The pictures on Vrbo do not do it justice. This updated log cabin home was very spacious inside and out. It was equipped with a lake view master bedroom and two queen size bedrooms. It also included a pullout bed in the couch for more room. The outside provided a deck with patio table, umbrella and chairs. In addition, there was a fire pit and a swing, and access to kayaks.We will definitely be booking this camp again for next year. Thank you, Maury and Mary for making our vacation so wonderful.Sincerely, Linda & John Freeman and family.

Such an idyllic setting and we've never experienced such amazing bird watching! The cove to the right is full of loons (we counted a group of 18 at one point) and an eagle open perched on the sandbar - we saw it several times returning to it's nest up the bank to the left with a freshly caught fish! There are many pickerel to catch off the sandbar, too - so, if you like to catch and release fish, bring gloves or pliers! It felt like being in a nature sanctuary for sure - thank you for use of the beautiful space!
