Adorable house with Green lake access

Small on the outside but plenty roomy inside. Clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, good shower. Very well stocked. In fact the kitchen is better stocked than my own house! Awesome sunrise views over the lake from the deck. Situated about 30 min from Bangor and 45 to Bar Harbor. Very happy with our stay!

Wonderful stay!

This little cabin in the woods had amazing views of the lake and was wonderfully stocked! It felt very private and remote, but it was just off of a main access road, convenient to Bangor or Acadia. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

Came for the colors

We came to see the fall colors in Acadia. We found this place to be a welcoming space and a convenient drive (about 45 minutes) from the park. It gives you some time to unwind from the crowds and pick up any needed supplies. It is easy to get to and has a wonderful view of the lake out the back. Great for early morning and evening views. Michelle was a fantastic hostess as we got our departure date mixed up and she worked with us to get out quickly and was gracious about our mistake. The place is extremely clean and comfortable, The grill worked great and all of the appliances and kitchen needs were there. The only bathroom is downstairs from the bedrooms, but it wasn't an issue for us. The stairway was easy to navigate. The deck is great and we did use it to enjoy the view. The beds were comfortable and the internet worked flawlessly. A great base of operations for a very fair price!

Cozy Retreat!

Cozy cottage tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful area on the lake. We had a great time of rest and relaxation in this cute cottage. Everything you need for a great stay and Michelle was very helpful with details of the area. The trees were absolutely gorgeous this time of year!!!!

Adorable peaceful cabin

Everything was perfect! Michelle was in constant communication with me from booking. Answered questions, suggested places to go and things to see. Everything was exceptionally clean. Will be recommending this to others who are looking for a quiet place near Acadia or Bangor!

Weekend trip

I booked this property for my birthday weekend. We needed a nice, quiet place to relax after hiking in Acadia. I highly recommend this property. The property is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. The host provided a list of restaurants and stores in the area which was very helpful. We got pizza from Zeppa’s our first night there and it was great!

Perfection

My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice spot for our stay while hiking Acadia and visiting other parts of Maine. We wanted somewhere both somewhat secluded and nearby other towns for day trips, and this house fit the bill perfectly! Views were outstanding, house had everything we needed for our stay, and Michelle was communicative and so helpful with our questions. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

nice little cottage, and a great host

Thoughtfully provisioned, tastefully decorated and well furnished. Very secluded. The single lane gravel road to access it is quite tricky. Both bedrooms are on 2nd floor, accessed by very steep and narrow stairs. Single bathroom on 1st floor is nicely appointed. All appliances seemed to work fine. Lovely secluded wooded setting. Railroad tracks at the edge of yard must be crossed on foot to get to Jenkins Lake where there's a wide sandy beach and canoes/kayaks to use, but there was no one there in mid-September. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck at dusk to hear the loons calling. We would return !

Cabin on Green Lake

Adorable, amazing, super cute Maine cottage!

We loved Michelle’s cottage with lake views! It was cozy, charming, clean and housed the four of us very comfortably. We loved the location, tiucked in the woods, with lake views and dock access with kayaks and canoe. Our stay was perfect, and wish it could have been longer. Easy access (45 minutes) ti Acadia.

Home away from Home

The little cottage was perfect for me and my mom! My mom found the place and fell in love with it when she saw it. We sort of thought we were in the middle of a Stephen King book based on the road we needed to take to get to the property, but we loved the stay. We also love Stephen King so honestly it was so worth it. It was perfect! Thabk you!!!

Lovely home

The deck does truly have a nice view of the lake. Easy walk down to the kayaks. Michelle had the house well stocked - from coffee and creamer to toilet tissue and laundry detergent. Lots of clean towels, even outdoor towels and lifejackets. Just know that the road is narrow and two cars cannot pass each other, so come down that short distance carefully, especially if it’s dark when you arrive or head out. Michelle was always, and I mean always, fast to reply and incredibly helpful with answers to questions and suggestions based on my interests. I was there for over a week and would definitely recommend staying here. Oh, I should add, that there’s a nice view from the window upstairs in the bedroom that looks out over the lake. Both bedrooms are up there.

Great getaway cottage

Perfect cottage to get away from it all. Easy to access lake with plenty of equipment. Wonderful communication home owner went above and beyond to make this a comfortable and fun experience. Would love to come back.

Amazing place

The cottage was a perfect space for our fanily of 4. It was quiet and it had all the little things to make for a great stay. The kids loved swimming. We loved all the adventures that were a short drive from the cottage.

Wonderful Cottage. Loved our time here

We enjoyed our time in Michelle’s home. She was a wonderful host and even offered to pick up groceries and put away prior to our arrival! Home is adorable and the property is well maintained. We spent most of our time in Acadia ( about an hour drive with traffic) but kids still found time to enjoy the kayaks and swimming off the dock on the property. Would highly recommend staying here!

The property is safe and secluded but close enough to towns on either side that provide anything you need! The cottage is small and cozy and I hope you love it as much as I do!
