Pine Cone Cabin is a very relaxing place to stay. Located off the main road it is extremely quiet. We had fun kayaking on the lake and seeing the deer a couple of times when we were going out. The Cabin had everything we needed. Lucy and Paul were great hosts!!

We have stayed on a lake in Maine several other times but this place was our absolute favorite! The lake was just beautiful. The fire pit and kayaks were a perfect addition. This place had everything we needed and more!

Week on the lake

Wonderful! Clean and adorable cabin, great bedding, WiFi, games and movies. Gorgeous lake with a canoe, kayaks, a paddle board and a pedal boat. Stream nearby for fly fishing. Lovely and responsive hosts. Thank you!

Great Fun

Was a nice time at this property. The lake is a short walk through the woods so that was nice. The kayaks were fun too. Having the owners next door was nice as well in case we needed anything. Would definitely stay again. Beautiful location and very private.

Wonderful stay on a beautiful lake

Pine Cone Cabin was clean and cozy, and the secluded location overlooking Green Lake is amazing. Owners Lucy and Paul were great hosts and very responsive. We enjoyed the fireplace, canoe, paddle board, swim raft and taking our dog for walks in the woods. Downtown Ellsworth is about 20 min. away and Bar Harbor and Acadia NP is about 50 min. and both were fun to visit. We loved our stay at Pine Cone Cabin!

Lovely lakeside home

Pine cone cabin was the perfect getaway for our family. Lucy and Paul were so accommodating. The cabin is well appointed with a cozy feel and fireplace to sit by after a day kayaking on the lake. Watching sunsets and making memories with our family that will last a lifetime. We look forward to returning.

Pine Cone Cabin was a perfectly peaceful getaway. It was well stocked with everything we could need or want. Wonderful Vacation

We stayed at Pine Cone Cabin last summer for two weeks in August. The cabin itself was fantastic as was the lake. Crystal clear water to swim in but most of all, the loons to sing you to sleep at night...the most beautiful sound. We loved sitting on the dock at night to watch the shooting stars. I don't think we could have had a better Maine experience. Can't wait to come back!!!!!!!!

Thank you Julie. Paul and I would love to have your family come back to Pine Cone. It has been such a warm Spring and Summer, Green lake is just the right temperature for a refreshing dip. It was 64* at 7:00 this morning and it's going to be a great beach day in the lower 80's. August 28th through closing is still availible. Come on up! Thanks again for the great review. Best place to stay

Pine Cone Cabin was awesome, we stayed for 2 weeks last year in July and we couldn't have picked a greater place or greater host and hostess. Lucy and her husband are wonderful people and they make you feel right at home fom the second you arrive. The cabin is great, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We are coming back again this year.

A Wonderful Week At Pine Cone Cabin

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful Pine Cone Cabin on the lake.The cabin was very clean and the aroma of pine greeted us upon arrival. During the days, we made use of the canoe and kayak, sailing around the scenic cove observing loons and other wildlife. During the chilly evenings, we had a blazing fire in the fireplace while listening to the call of the loons. The cabin was well stocked with all of the amenities. The hosts were friendly and helpful but we always had our privacy. We’ve already booked our stay here for next year! Thank you, Lucy and Paul, for sharing this little piece of heaven with us.

Lake, Loons, Laughter, Life!

We had a lovely stay at this quintessential log cabin on a pristine Maine Lake. Our daughter and granddaughter joined us for two nights. The lake was the attraction along with kayaks, paddle board, pedal boat and comfy chairs. Firewood provided took any chill off when the weather turned. A full day biking in Acadia on the carriage roads topped things off. My only recommendation would be additional lighting in the bedroom as wooden walls and dark skies made it hard to find things :-) to get dressed. Would definitely rent again.

Peaceful

My family had the opportunity to spend one week at Pine Cone Cabin and it was, hands down, the best vacation we've had. Lucy and Paul are amazing hosts who thought of everything. While we had plans to explore the area before we arrive we soon realized that all we wanted was at the cabin so we hardly left. We went for lovely trail runs on the camp roads, swam, fished, kayaked, canoed, rested on the beach, and hand campfires. My two young sons (5 & 8) got along all week with very minimal bickering - any place that can foster that behavior truly deserves awards! We are very much looking forward to our stay next year.

Thanks so much for the high praise. Paul and I enjoyed meeting your family. The boys had a good chance to test their swimming and rowing skills. Maybe next year you might try your hand at sailing the Sunfish. After all their play I bet it didn't take them long to fall asleep nights. The Perfect Vacation

First of all you open the door to the cabin and Wow what a place ! Walk outside and the grounds are very nice from the washer dryer - storage building which is full of all kind of fun stuff to the new dock. They also supply canoes and fishing gear. Now lets get to our hosts Paul and Lucy which I must say are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We had 5 people in our party ages 20 - 50. Not one of us had a neg thing to say about Pine cone. What a perfect cabin. Can't wait till Sept to go back, Thank You Paul and Lucy

Such an enchanting spot on Green Lake.

Paul and Lucy have created the perfect home away from home. This cabin is so cute and quaint and stocked with everything you could need on your getaway. To me, it is the best spot on the lake! I'll surely miss hearing the loons on the lake and sitting out on the dock to read each morning and night. The mist over the lake each morning was so incredible to watch slowly disappear. It was so peaceful and quiet that the flap of a passing bird's wings could be so loud. It's not too far from Bangor or Acadia. Not to mention Downtown Ellsworth has some great little shops and places to eat. Thanks again for creating a little paradise and sharing it with me, Paul and Lucy!

Oh Kelly, we are so pleased you enjoyed your Fall week on Green Lake. I never get tired of hearing the birds either. I hope you got to see and hear, the pair of great blue heron flying up to the brook and the plop that the kingfisher makes diving for his dinner. Paul and I hope you bring your Dad up next time. Spring and Fall stays are peaceful and quiet. Spring is great to see the baby mallards, loon chicks, and hear the peepers. The first couple of weeks in October are usually peak leaf peeping season. Peace and quiet by the lake

Great comfortable cabin with all the amenities we required, peaceful and quiet. The cabin is on beautiful Green Lake and has a nice small beach on the property. Ellsworth town is a short drive away and has all the shopping requirements for groceries and most other things. We spent a lot of time down around Arcadia National Park in Bar Harbour, South West Harbor and Bass Harbor. This is an easy drive from the cabin at this time of year. Lots of lobster restaurants and our favorite was the Sea Ketch at Bass Harbour, great outside seating overlooking the harbor. Also thanks to Lucy and Paul who are very helpful, hope to be back again. It was a pleasure meeting you all. We are so happy you enjoyed your Summer Home, on Green Lake. If you decide to stay again, you might try the Fall. It's quiet, Green Lake is warmer and the Fall colors are beautiful. See Ya Upta Camp!

Pine Cone Cabin's is in NorthEast Cove on Green Lake. Come hear the sounds of nature and see the wild life, beaver, ducks, eagles, deer, etc… The beach faces South so it has 🌞 from morning until night.

Kayaks, life vests, paddle boat, paddle board, water toys and fishing equipment are all included in the rental price. 80' to the closest cabin. Swimming and boating are at your own risk. Life vests are provided.
