Kevin's Corner in Kill Devil Hills is the quintessential spot for some much-needed rest and relaxation! With so many local attractions right at your fingertips, you'll be able to spend some quality time with your family. Treat everyone to a fun time out at Lost Treasure Golf with some miniature golf, then visit the Outer Banks Kayak Adventures and paddle across North Carolina's calming waters as you tour all the beautiful hotspots. Unwind out on the sands of Jockey's Ridge State Park and read your favorite book under the shade of an umbrella while your kids splash around in the pristine waters.

Head on back to your vacation rental once you've explored enough of the coastline and walk in through the front door to find your own personal slice of paradise. Settle down in the spacious living area and enjoy the calming ambiance provided by the pictures adorning the walls, the ivory interior decor, and the plants placed all throughout the room. Check out the fully equipped kitchen and cook up a memorable mealtime masterpiece for everyone, then head out to the balcony and clank cold drinks with your pals. Good spot for the price.

Although not beachside, it’s in a Quiet neighborhood, convenient to drive wherever, and a nice morning walk to get coffee or breakfast.

Great Place for Pets and Kids

The place was great for the animals, and it seems like a good place for kids, if we had them. There were a lot of pluses. I found the decor cheap, tacky and depressing. The lock was temperamental, but we got immediate support.

Great Place for Dogs and Kids

This quiet local makes it a nice place for kids and dogs. We had the latter. This is a very roomy and quiet place. I don't watch TV, but there was one in three of the rooms, if you like that. The kitchen cabinets ruin the place; they are made of cheap particle board. All the appliances worked, the drive to the beach is easy. The place is a bit dated and tired. The company managing the place is super responsive.

The property was not very well taken care of. The yard was filled with weeds so we could not enjoy the fire pit as shown. Also the place was dusty, and the kitchen had bare minium utencils and glass wear. They was a lot of dog food under and behind the fridge. Not to mention when we checked in the air was not working. They did do a good job in getting window units in right away. I would NOT stay there again. :(

Perfect getaway to the outerbanks

We love Kevin’s Corner! Very clean and perfect size for my husband and our dog. Super nice neighbors as well. Found out during our stay that Kevin is actually a dog, which I thought was neat since we chose the property due to the fenced in backyard for our pup. Great stay and would come here again!

Nice home

This house was very nice and well outfitted. The only issue was the king bed and living room couch are very low to the floor and can be difficult to get in and out of.

Excellent! Would stayhere again!

The house house cute and decorated very “beachy” but not at all cheesy. Lots of mid century modern feels. Yard and fire pit were awesome for our dog and kids. Location was close to everything we wanted, restaurants, the beach, the sound. Would def stay here again.

2025 vacation

Very nice house. Nice quite neighborhood. Check in was at 4pm. We arrived at the house at 3:45pm. Entered the code that was given us for the door and it opened. Upon entering house we found it had not been cleaned. Dirty linens piled up, no sheets on beds, dirty dishes on counter. My wife called Vacasa to complain about the condition of the house and they seemed more concerned about the fact that we had been able to open door before 4pm. Now the young lady who was to clean the house showed up before 4pm. She apologized repeatedly about being late. It was the weekend after the 4th of july so we understood. She was very professional, very courteous and did a wonderful job. Her customer service is the reason we will come back!The house is very nice and in good condition for a weekly rental. Three bedrooms, two baths, every thing worked as it should.My only complaint with the house would be the living room couch and the king size bed in the master bed room. The couch was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I've ever had the displeasure of sitting on. And the king size bed is extremely low to the floor. I was afraid if i got down in it I wouldn't be able to get back up.lolAll in all Kevins corner is a nice house and i wouldn't hesitate renting it again.

We enjoyed the size and location of the home. Great fenced-in back yard for my dogs. Decorated very nicely. Cleanliness was good. The washing machine needed cleaning, but otherwise we would stay again.

Could have gone very bad really quick

The property is a lovely place and was very pleased of the cleanliness. However, on our last day, we came back to find the water had been turned off. Vacasa was very responsive and had this remedied within an hour of contacting them.

Sweet Spot

Kevin’s Corner was perfect for our 2 night trip to Nags Head for our spring break. The cottage had everything we needed especially the safe fenced in yard for our dog Scout. The cottage decorations are lovely. We loved the framed literary quotes - Hemmingway and even a favorite Bruce Springboard lyric. The cottage was perfectly clean and tidy. We were grateful for the provided linens - plenty of towels. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice to be so close to Target for supplies - pick up size 4 cone shaped coffee filters for the Ninja coffee maker. We enjoyed walking to the nearby Avalon boat launch to watch the gorgeous Sound sunset there. Thank you for our stay at your sweet spot.

Cozy little home

The layout and decor of this home makes it very cozy and practical. The outdoor string lights throughout the front and backyard gives the home extra light to be able to have long nights along the solo stove fire pit. We do not have a pet, but it is well equipped for your pet. The location is near a target, food lion and 5 minutes from the beach. There is a nearby free parking lot across the beach that made our stay very convenient. The downfall was the areas the cleaning personal had missed and a delayed check-in since they were not ready. Overall, my family and I were very happy with our stay.

Cute decor good location

The house needs a good deep clean. The washer had been left closed while still wet and mildew has grown inside of it. All baseboards, walls, and highly touched surfaces were dirty or dusty. With it being a beach house sand is unavoidable. However there was no way to help clean it up. The vacuum did not work and there was no dust pan for broom. Dishes were left in the dishwasher. It appears it was run, but they were so heavily soiled that they were still not clean. Cabinets were full of dirty dishes and needed to be washed before use. The door to enter from ground level did not work (at least with code provide). We reached out to the management company about all of issues and concerns about the washer, not being able to use the ground level door, and the vacuum. We were told they would send someone, but never did. The house's decor was very cute and modern. The sofa was a bit beat up and the rug outside was falling apart. There were also 2 broken chairs left sitting out on the patio. There were missing photos from the wall but left behind the velcro strips. The location to the beach was good. The Wifi was slow with only 2G. All in all with a little TLC the property could look as depicted in the listing and be very nicr.nice.

Almost good, but lots of problems, especially the management co

The inside of the place is very nice and it's a great location. Well furnished, nice beds and couch area, good deck and parking and close to the beach. If I were only here for a night or two, it would be 5 stars. But if you are staying for longer, don't do it. The locks on the doors don't work. The stove top barely works and the display is broken so you can't tell what's on and what's not. The outdoor shower didn't work. Also, the place is SPARTAN. I have stayed at dozens of VRBOs over the years but never a place that didn't have salt or sugar or scissors. There were extra pillows, but no extra pillowcases. Usually there are some basics in VRBOs, often even more but not here. Also, the grass in the backyard was so tall that it wasn't really usable. There were dead roaches everywhere outside too. It also had no "house book" with information about the place. I had no idea when to take out the garbage, no nice ideas of anything in the immediate vicinity we should check out, any other details about the house, which is standard in all VRBOs I've ever stayed in -- even the bad ones. I understand this management company uses an app, but a book is really helpful for information and it's just a courtesy most places have. It gets a 5 star if you're staying for 2 nights and you need a nice place to crash, aren't cooking, and you don't care about the outside and have no valuables to lock up. But if you are styaing for longer, skip it.

Nice low-key location for OBX

We enjoyed our stay overall. Plus sides: beds are comfortable, plenty of space for four adults, good, central location with a short walk to the beach and nice photos/artwork to enjoy on the walls. However, the property did not seem very clean (spills not cleaned up on a bedroom wall, stained furniture, dirty dishes in the dishwasher), and you should bring your own washcloths and soap as not enough are provided. We were there 3 nights and only given 4 washcloths and one tiny bar of soap for each bathroom (so moving it between sink and shower). Not a huge deal but depending how picky you are with your VRBO you may want to consider this. Overall, we enjoyed it but would probably look at other properties next time.

Comfortable stay

Quaint dog friendly home as the pictures depict. House is well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay! Having the beachy fenced in back yard with a smokeless firepit was nice for the chilly autumn evenings! Bring #4 cone filters for their Ninja Coffee Maker!
