Koko’s Cabana- Walk to Everything! Beach, Shopping, Restaurants, Mini Golf

Koko’s Cabana is a cozy 3 bedroom designer Cottage Oceanside in popular Kill Devil Hills and is only about 350 steps to the 1st Street beach access. 1 and 1/2 bath indoors and an outdoor shower and toilet. Wonderful screened in back deck is perfect for hanging out, listening to the waves and has become a guest favorite. Dog Friendly! Features a large fenced-in lighted backyard with fire pit, Beach Cart, umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes, beach toys all included. All you need is your swimsuit and flip flops.

We enjoyed our stay at Koko's Cabana. It was very clean when we arrived, and easy to access. The owner gave us very detailed information about the place before we arrived and was very easy to communicate with. It is very close to the beach, just a short walk. It is small but very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the screened in porch area.

We had an excellent stay at this property. The location is ideal, just steps from the beach and close to local attractions. The home was spotless and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was thoughtful and provided a helpful list of things to do and recommended restaurants, which made exploring the area so easy. We would definitely book this rental again!

Perfect get away house

Close to everything! Beach, shops, dining, Wright brothers, sand dunes. Perfect for my family and dogs to stay at with plenty of room and the extra beach gear they provided came in handy! We would stay here again the next time we visit OBX!

Very clean. The location was perfect .3 mile walk to the beach that was it. Neighborhood was great to walk dogs as well. Back yard was fabulous for the dogs. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the morning drinking coffee and at night drinking a glass of wine and listening to the waves on the beach. Sunrise view was spectacular see photo below.

I can’t say enough good things about this property! It was exactly as described. It’s in a great location with it being a short walk to the beach & close to restaurants & shopping. The place was incredibly clean & the king bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in a rental. When I had a question for the host he was very prompt in responding. But the best part for us was that it was pet friendly & it had a nice sized fenced in back yard. We were very pleased with our stay & look forward to staying there again!

Excellent location for beach access. Every thing was walking distance and the property literally has all necessities for the beach. Perfect location, walking distance to lots of conveniences (grocery, restaurants and BEACH)Very responsive property manager and quiet neighborhood, felt like we had whole street to our selves.

Great Pet-friendly getaway

Enjoyed my stay! The house was very clean and the location was great - very close to the beach and close to grocery stores and other shops. I brought my pup and found the house to be very pet-friendly since it has a securely fenced backyard as well as a gate on the front deck.

Great OBX house/ Super clean & cute!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property! Property manager was super responsive and gave us great restaurant recommendations! House was super clean and the beds were real comfy. The screened in back porch was a great place for family dinners and afternoon naps. We would totally stay at this property again!

Family of 4 beach vacation

Perfect location in Kill Devil Hills and a great rental for my husband & me plus two "kids" in their low 20s. Also, it was very accommodating for our dog - nice neighborhood to walk in, a great fenced backyard, and a short drive to Nags Head Woods Preserve which has terrific wooded trails! Honestly, we had ZERO complaints about the place.

Nice stay in OBX

This cottage was cute, clean and had all of the necessities to make our week stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was great with Publix right across the street and the beach just a 2 block walk the other direction. With the gas grill we were able to eat in several of our dinners. It was so nice to not have to worry about packing beach chairs and the beach wagon was fantastic, we want to buy one for our house!

Awesome home and location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Koko Cabana!! The house is beautiful and exactly as described. It’s in a perfect spot for getting to the beach and has several dining spots in walking distance, with an endless number of nearby choices within a 5-10 min drive! The house was also perfect for our fur baby! She loved the fenced in yard, dog friendly beaches, and blocks to walk around the neighborhood. Great stay and Clint responded immediately to any questions. Highly recommend!
