We're very sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We did try to accommodate you with each of the above issues. Your right, we did have trouble getting our appliances delivered to us on time. Unfortunately, we ordered them before the season began and were let down by the delivery company. However, you were not left without a refrigerator, as the one in the laundry room 15 feet away was working properly. We warned you before you went in that you would need to store perishables in that particular refrigerator. When you called me to tell me about ants, I had our wonderful cleaning gal come right over as she was next door. She stated that cleaned the pantry the day prior herself and there was no leftover food that was forgotten. However, she did spray for ants and reported back to us that there was a sandwich left behind perhaps by one of your kids. We did have to have the septic pumped out while you were there, however, you had almost 20 people in the home for a gathering on Sunday after you arrived as told to us by our neighbors. Our septic is not designed to handle so many occupants, so we have an occupancy limit. The dock was purchased brand new last year and because of the water level, we did have to add sections to our system. The dock is used primarily for our boat and the water level dictates how long our dock is for each particular year. Last year it was much higher and there was no way for us to predict that we would need to add sections this year. So once again, we had to wait for delivery The private sandy beach that belongs to our home is easily accessible from our front yard and does provide barrier-free access to the water. The internet was not working during your stay and we do apologize for that. The company we contracted with the last few years had a problem with their tower and was unable to continue providing our service. Our neighbors did give out their usernames and password for access to others staying with us while we waited for our new fiber optic system to be installed. Others had to use their hotspot on their phones for computer access. Also, we do have a library of 100's of movies for your enjoyment. We did not expect that the internet would not be working during your stay as our installation date was pushed back by the new company. As for the landscapers, we do have our lawn cut weekly for our guests and unfortunately, there is no way around having it cut while someone is there since the property always has somebody occupying it. We are sorry we fell short of your expectations, however, most of these issues were way beyond our control, and we hope that you were otherwise able to enjoy your stay.

The back bedroom had NO mold issue. Was recently completely redone in cedar and new furniture is also in place. We are sorry you had to fix our dock or shore station however we have a service that maintains it and we could have called them ourselves. The dock and shore station are seasonal docks and sometimes mother nature is not cooperative. Shore station is not included in rental but is negotiable. We have our own boat that has to be removed for you to use it. We do take great care to ensure all of our guests feel at home while on holiday.

We have no record of This person having rented from us (Either Lou or Staci C). If you have rented under a different name please contact us. We go through great effort to make sure the property is great condition for the renters. Also, it says you rented in July in your opening statement, but also state you rented in August. We have searched both months for record of your visit. Why did you wait a year to post a negative review?
