Excellent with a few flaws

The house was in a perfect location. It was very well supplied. The house appeared to be very clean however when we looked closer at most of the beds there was hair on the mattress covers. In the primary bedroom there was also what appeared to be blood on the pillow case. We also had a problem with ants in the kitchen and pantry. We did have to throw food away because when we woke up the first morning there were ants all over it. We notified the owner and they send someone to treat the ants. Several days later they were still present so the owner sent pest control back to retreat. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the house. I just think that with the cleanliness issues and ants, perhaps it could be cleaned better

Wonderful weekend in this gem

Eight of us spent a weekend at this gem of a property in September '21 for a friend's wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the place and host, David, who was extremely responsive. We loved the awesome garage with beach gear (beach bags, coolers, chairs, bikes) and the fully stocked kitchen. The outdoor shower was a definite perk. This house helped make a special weekend even more memorable. I look forward to returning someday. Thanks, David!

Extra Long Weekend was Spectacular

The property is in perfect location. Only 5 or 6 houses from the beach. The same distance to Nardi's which has great food and live bands at night. Easy drive to stores and restaurants. House was well arranged with a fully prepared kitchen, grill and smoker. Garage is actually a great game room with ping pong and foosball, fridge's and couches. Outside music was part of the system and always available. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. We will definitely rent here again.

Great house for beach stay

The house was perfect for what we needed; comfortable, well kept, and had lots of extras (grill, ping pong table, hammocks, beach stuff, etc.). It's close to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, and fishing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in LBI. I know I will definitely stay there next time I visit LBI.

Great off-season weekend rental for a group.

Second year at this location for our annual LBI cycling weekend. Clean and comfortable with plenty of beds for a group and ample parking. Great location with easy walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. Had everything we needed and a ping-pong table. Looking forward to returning next fall.

Another Fabulous Vacation Here

Another fabulous visit to this gem of a home. We look forward to our stay every year. The beaches of LBI are amazing and this cozy home is perfect for our family. Every year we are surprised and thrilled with the improvements that the owners make. We are so comfortable hanging out enjoying this home that we never want to leave. We have already planned our visit for next year. The house is cozy, comfortable, clean, neat and very accommodating. The amenities are more than you will need. My kids love to hang out and play ping pong and have their own space while we enjoy a relaxing time on the outdoor patio. If you are looking for a great place to stay for a vacation, check out this location.

Excellent weekend at the beach!

This house has everything you need/want. Plenty of bedrooms, fully functioning kitchen and BBQ plus a fire pit. Detached garage acts as a great play room in case of rain. Walking distance to the beach and bars. A perfect location.

All the comforts of home

Plenty of room inside plus upstairs deck, great backyard, and garage with ping pong table. Beach is only block away. Haven Beach is close enough to all LBI's amenities but is a nice quiet area. We have been coming here for several years and always have a wonderful time

Great home and great location!

Perfect home for a girls weekend! The home was spacious and clean and had plenty of amenities! We definitely made use of the garage with ping pong table and all the beach supplies (coolers, chairs and toys)! Having the grill was an added plus and made for a great dinner! Everything went smooth and the location to the beach and bar/restaurants/shops was ideal. Will definitely be considering renting again if our girls weekend ends up in LBI!

Lovely Beach Home - Perfect Location

We stayed for a long weekend with family and friends. House provided us with plenty of room and we loved the outdoor space. We grilled out back almost every night. The house is a very short walk to the beach. Owner was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend David’s home to anyone looking for accommodations on LBI.

Great rental home!

We booked this rental to attend a wedding on the island. The home was spacious, clean and had plenty of amenities. Unfortunately it rained the weekend so we never got to go visit the beach but the proximity is fabulous for a summer vacation. Easy access to grocery stores and restaurants.

Great for a group!

We booked this home for a weekend in September for a girls weekend. With 14 adults, we were happy to say the house was bigger and more spacious than expected. The house is clean, well kept, and a great place for a large group. It is 6 houses from the beach, close to wawa and acme stores. The yard was perfect and we just can't say enough good things about the stay. The owners were always available and responded promptly. A great place to rent anytime!

Excellent location for our group's annual off-season cycling weekend on LBI

Clean, comfortable, plenty of space to spread out, a bed for everyone. Great location with easy access to shopping, food, and activities. Bonus for us was the garage for bike storage and the ping-pong table. The new bathrooms are terrific. The entire group voted to make this house our annual destination. Thanks for providing all that we needed!

Wonderful vacation rental that we have enjoyed for 4 years in a row!!

Another fabulous vacation at your place on Long Beach Island. Thank you for renting your lovely home to us again this year. We are making this an annual tradition for our family. We love the location and the amenities that you provide in your comfortable home. This is the fourth year our family has come to vacation at your place and every year the vacation gets better than the last. This year we were impressed with a number of improvements and upgrades to an already lovely spot. Your home fits our family perfectly and it has everything we need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One short block from the beautiful beach and close enough for all the other wonderful things Long Beach Island has to offer. We always enjoy sitting on the back patio - very quiet and relaxing!! I would highly recommend this gem to anyone thinking about heading to LBI. Thanks again - we can't wait to do it again next year.

Returned for sixth summer!!

House is wonderful and clean: love the new bathrooms; plenty of outside tables/chairs; ping pong table in garage; comfortable beds; well equipped kitchen. Location is perfect: close to the beach; nice quiet block; centrally located to Beach Haven, restaurants, Acme/Murphy's. This is just a great house with responsive owners. My family and I love it and highly recommend it.

Perfect beach rental!

This house was exactly what we were looking for! Excellent location, roomy, and comfortable. We had 12 family members gathered for a birthday celebration. The "garage" with ping pong table and frig was perfect for entertaining the wide range of ages of our family. 12 - 80 yrs. We were able to grill and all sit comfortably around the outdoor tables. The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of cabinet space for food. The bathrooms are beautiful. The owners are extremely attentive and easy to communicate and work with. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend this home!

Perfect; exactly what was described and desired.

This property is wonderful. The home is a great size, comfortable, cozy and comes with pretty much everything you need. The house has two driveways, one on each side, making it very easy for multiple drivers to the one house. The house is very close to the beach, making it convenient to go back and forth throughout the day for any needs. The rooms and beds are great. Two bedrooms are located downstairs. One has a Queen bed and the other has two singles. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms. One with three single beds and another with two single beds and a pull out within a sitting area. That room also has access to the sundeck, which point towards the beach. The bathrooms are gorgeous and freshly renovated. There is a full bath with a tub downstairs and a full bath upstairs with a standup shower. And of course, there is an outdoor shower. The home even has a washer and dryer. Eileen and David were very helpful and a pleasure to work with. We had no issues throughout the process. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Enjoyable visit

We enjoyed our visit. The house had plenty of room and was clean and cheery. The ping pong table and couches in the garage were a hit with the kids. There were plenty amenities and the location was perfect. It was close to the beach and restaurants.

Property was great. Excellent location near the beach.

Great Memorial Day weekend. We were two families with four children (ages 11-13). Everyone had a wonderful time. The home offered plenty of space to accommodate both families. Proximity to the beach was perfect as well as restaurants and shops.

Property very comfortable for different age kids. Close to beach and can't wait to stay again

Great house and better location!!

Very pleased with our choice of this house. My favorite part was the great back yard with patio and the detached garage with ping pong, Foosball, couches and fridge. Bathrooms in house were just renovated and are beautiful, clean and spacious. The whole house was clean. We used the living room one day due to rain and the TV was perfect to watch golf when we couldn't go outside. Upstairs crows nest deck had a great view of in the area. Neighborhood was perfect: A six minute walk to the beach right down the block. Beach was in great shape after all the work done post Sandy. Nardi's restaurant and night club was only a four minute walk. Overall, it had everything we could ask for. I highly recommend this property.

Great location!

We had a wonderful time while staying here. The location is perfect: close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The owners were helpful when I called or emailed with questions. The reason I didn't give the full five stars was because it seemed the owners had a dog although the listing says no pets are allowed. I would not recommend this home to anyone with allergies.

Wonderful!!

Our family had a fabulous time while staying at this wonderful home. The house was fully stocked with all the amenities you could ever need. It is in a wonderful location close to the beach and other desirable sights. This home was very spacious and clean and very comfortable. The owners were very pleasant and accomodating and especially wonderful to work with. We can't wait to make this an annual tradition for our family. Would definitely recommend this gem!!!
