Great location! Plenty of room for our family of 6. Loved the charm of the high ceilings and built-ins. Some things were a little dated but the place was clean and affordable for us. The host was responsive. The only thing I would recommend would be to bring your own board games! We would definitely stay here again !

The location was perfect for a short walk to Wrigley. We weren’t aware that only 2 out of the 3 rooms had air conditioners until arrival. Luckily the temperature was too hot for the days we stayed!

Very good location for Wriggly Field and loved the character of the house. Only issues were lack of parking, lights on back steps at night and steep steps to Lower level tho understand all this goes hand in hand with this property. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here! It was super spacious, and had everything you could possibly need! Short walking distance to wrigley field and a lot of places to eat around.

Absolutely wonderful. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Great space for hanging out after a day of Cubs and adventures. Cant thank the host enough for sharing. The only trick for me was the access is the back door, it took me a hot minute to find my way in.

Overall we enjoyed our weekend here—it definitely could have been a bit cleaner and the furniture was a bit worse for wear. However, the location was unbeatable and there was more than enough space for a girls weekend :)

Parking with the passes was simple and directly outside. The house was spacious and clean. It was in a great area with easy access to subway and great restaurants. Plus, we were able to bring our dog! We all loved it and will likely be back.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location was excellent—just a short walk to Wrigley Field, with easy access to the Red Line. The neighborhood felt safe, was very walkable, and had plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby.The property itself was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. However, it is definitely dated and shows its age. The cabinets and finishes were basic, with chipped and worn laminate in several places, including one bathroom vanity where the underlying particle board was exposed. There were also several signs of deferred maintenance. The electrical outlets could use updating, and there was paint chipping and flaking throughout the unit. The couch was also showing its age. The armrest cushioning had worn down enough that you could feel the hard frame underneath when leaning against it, making it uncomfortable to sit on.None of these issues prevented us from enjoying our trip, but the photos made the property appear a little newer than it actually is. If you’re looking for a convenient location and don’t mind an older property, this is still a solid option.

I’m glad you enjoyed the excellent location, walkability, easy access to Wrigley Field and the Red Line, and found the property clean and well equipped for your stay. I also appreciate your feedback regarding some of the finishes, furnishings, and areas showing their age. Updates to the property, including several of the items you mentioned, are already planned for this fall. With a busy rental schedule, it can be challenging to complete larger improvements between guests, so we’re waiting until the property is vacant for several consecutive days to tackle them properly. I’m glad the property and location contributed to an enjoyable trip, and we look forward to having a refreshed space for future guests.
