Carriage House appartement- blocs lumineux à la plage et de la promenade

Notre appartement 1928 maison de transport est situé dans le quartier historique Hill Beach. Il a été récemment rénové, mais une grande partie du charme d'origine a été maintenue. Il est un endroit idéal pour les familles ou les petits groupes - à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques encore situés dans un quartier résidentiel.
Beach Cowell (boogie d'embarquement et le surf), Lane Steamer (surf avancé), Monterey Exploration Center, Boardwalk, quai, Guerriers de basket-ball stade, le centre-ville et West Cliff Drive (vélo / sentier pédestre le long de la mer) sont à peine 5 minutes à pied de notre maison.
L'appartement est situé dans un jardin privé, loin de la rue principale, derrière notre maison. Nous espérons que vous allez adorer ce quartier historique, autant que nous le faisons!

Fantastic place to stay

A lovey two bedroom apartment. Close to the beach and it has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Sarah was a great host and we would not hesitate to recommend this place to others

Great House Location

It's a wonderfully cute property with everything our family needed for a great trip to Santa Cruz Monterey! And the location couldn't be more convenient to the Santa Cruz sights!

Lovely and quaint

A beautiful home and location. The accomodations suited all our needs. The only negative was the shower pressure but honestly wasn't that big of a deal. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, comfy, conveniently located

We added this to the end of our Yosemite adventure as a little R&R before heading home, and thought the kids would love some beach time. This place exceeded expectations! The carriage house is very clean and has so many nice little touches. This place is perfect for kids- ours really loved the boogie boards at the beach and the games when we were relaxing. It’s a nice, short walk to the beach and boardwalk area. The beds are very comfortable, and the temperature was perfect for opening a window at night. The owner is very kind and accommodating. This is definitely a place I would return, but spend a whole week next time.

Perfect spot for a family to enjoy Santa Cruz!

The property was well kept, stocked with everything we needed (and more), and was quiet, safe and secure. The owners were friendly and helpful. Only a short walk into downtown and to the boardwalk. We all had a great time!

Santa Cruz Getaway

This was the perfect place to bring our 16 year old granddaughter for a few days. The location was perfect. The apartment was nicely decorated, very comfortable, and well stocked with everything one may need. The host, Sarah, had loads of information on local restaurants, activities, shopping, etc. Highly recommend as a home away from home.

Great for a family

We had a quick--but great--stay. Communication was excellent, check-in was easy, walking to the boardwalk was easy (even in the not-so-great weather), and the space was perfect four our family of four. The toys/games were an added bonus!

Great location and comfortable beds!!!

The apartment was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the shower nice and hot. They were generous with a laundry room, fire pit, and surf boards although we didn’t use any. The street parking was not a problem. There are steep stairs to the apartment but they were well lit and a good hand rail (my mother who is 83 was with me). The location near the boardwalk was great for morning walks.

Fantastic location/apartment, fantastic host

My family and I traveled to Santa Cruz for the Ironman event and stayed two nights. The apartment is clean, bright, and in a perfect location, close to the boardwalk, beach, and Depot Park. Our hosts were incredibly gracious. I would absolutely stay again!

Santa Cruz visit

Great property, close to the beach and all amenities. Great information provide by Sarah which helped us chose where to shop, dinner, etc. the hosts were more than happy to recommend places to go to.. Property clean and well maintained. Great facilities, laundry, beach stuff we could borrow.. even a pint of milk and coffee & snacks on arrival.. Definitely gets our family recommendation.

A Perfect Vacation

The Carriage House is an absolute dream. It is a quintessential beach cottage offering a peaceful stay yet a quick walk to all the excitement and foodie heaven that Santa Cruz offers. The owners are very kind and helpful people, their recommendations and venue descriptions were spot on. The location comes with a bevy of unexpected amenities as well. The house is airy, bright and extremely comfortable. We cannot wait to go back!!

Great accommodations

This is a wonderful, warm, inviting, two bedroom apartment in Santa Cruz. The central location enabled us to walk to several things. Hostess, Sarah, was very helpful. My grandson borrowed their surf board and happily was able to surf. This is a great place to stay. If I’m back, it’ll be here.

Very convient location, cute, quaint cottage house. We were fortunate enough to be there when the roses were in bloom. Their fragrance welcomed us back each day from our outing. My favorite part of Santa Cruz was and still is walking along West Cliff Dr. to Natural Bridges, so beautiful.

Family getaway

This was our second time here and again it did not disappoint. Sarah was just as responsive and accommodating. The cottage was lovely and comfortable for our family of 4. We were couple of blocks from everything so we walked everywhere and never had to worry about parking. And our favorite part was ending our trip with a fire in the backyard and making s’mores the night before we left. This may become an annual ritual. We will be back. Thank you, Sarah!

Cozy, convenient, and wonderful!

I highly recommend staying here. We are a family of 4 (husband, wife, two kids ages 5 & 8), and the space was plenty for us. The private backyard oasis was beautiful! Everything is within walking distance or just a few min drive into town. We had the pleasure of meeting our host and she was very kind. You cannot beat the privacy, quiet, and detail that you get here with any hotel. The small touches provided from a s’mores kit to beach toys, are appreciated as well. Thank you for letting us stay!

Quality Family time

Sarah, the hostess was extremely helpful. The house was certainly well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. There was beach equipment and a beach cart to enable a full day's pleasure and comfort on the beach. The outdoor space was comfortable,private and during the day a little sun trap. I would highly recomend this accomidation to anyone looking for a stay in Santa Cruz. 10 minute walk to the beach, pier and promenade.

Perfect & adorable

Lovely host. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds and pillows, thick cozy towels. All details attended to—snacks, teas, coffee, and even fixings for s’mores in a little basket. There were Q-tips, shampoos & a first aide kit. Easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach, warf and boardwalk. 5 min drive to downtown. Easy parking in front (April). Down pillows on the couch. The owners take pride in their property. There was a washer dryer available. Will will stay there again. Thank you.

Difficulty entering the property

The rental is located behind the main residence. The house numbers were not present on the street and also I had not received directions how to get through the gate. Luckily, my tech savvy brother was present and able to access a Wi-Fi hotspot so I could email our dilemma to the owner who was home. she came out straight away and helped us get inside. This was our only problem. Everything else went smoothly and the rental was lovely.

Our family moved to Santa Cruz to be closer to family and enjoy the benefits of living in such a diverse and beautiful community. We love living life outdoors as much as we can and experiencing all the art and culture that Santa Cruz offers.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our house is located in historic Beach Hill. It is between downtown and the beach and boardwalk. While you are here you can walk or bike to just about anything in town. We are close to museums, parks, movie theaters, live theater, sporting events, and shops, as well as the ocean, wharf, and boardwalk.
