One of a kind, private, fully remodeled custom estate with no finishes spared, located in the coveted Mt Helix neighborhood of central San Diego County boasting a rare 8 bedrooms and 4 baths with sweeping mountain views. 7' deep gas heated swimming pool, hot tub, multiple decks and terraces, 2 giant outdoor custom kitchens, 1980s/90s themed arcade room, gas line connected fire pit with seating for 15 and more yard space and games than you know what to do with! The perfect property for large groups and gatherings who want to sleep comfortably and have their privacy from one another and neighbors but still be within 20 minutes to the beach and San Diego's top attractions. Oasis in El Cajon

The house was everything we’d imagined from the pictures and so much more!! The layout worked well for our group of 11 (2 adults and 9 high school students) and had plenty of open communal spaces in which to gather. Kitchen and baths were well-equipped and the pool and spa were easy to operate. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Annual Golf Trip

Group of 14 guys we were on our 13th annual golf outing and the house did not disappoint. This was our first time in California and we thoroughly enjoyed the house. Will rent from again if we return to San Diego.

Beautiful Home Away From Home

I booked this house for a weekend birthday getaway. The house was beautiful and clean. My guests enjoyed all of the amenities. House rules are inside by 9pm, which initially we were dissappointed because we wanted to enjoy the outdoor amenities however the indoor amenities kept us busy and entertained. Beautiful home.away from home.

Fun and Relaxing Getaway

Our family had a great stay at Gabe’s house in El Cajon. It was very clean and comfortable, welcoming and equipped with pretty much everything that we needed during our stay. The house worked out great for our 7 kids and teens. They were kept busy and happy using the heated pool and spa, arcade room, pool table and backyard. The 8 bedrooms were nice for the 15 of us that stayed there. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked great. The mornings were spent on the upper balcony, enjoying a quiet cup of coffee. Afternoons we mostly spent in the pool or relaxing and wrapped up each day with a nice meal and movie in the theatre. Check-in was easy and the house rules were clearly stated. We felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Annual Family Vacation

Let me just say this home is a mini resort! Our family (adult children and grandchildren) had the best time! There was something for everyone from the movie theatre to the amazing backyard. In addition, there was ample space for a large family that included three babies. My only recommendation is to make sure that you build in enough time to enjoy the home while visiting the San Diego area.

Annual family vacation used all 8 bedrooms and every amenity except excercize room. Easy hiway access. 20 2o 30 min to evererywhere. We have stayed bigger houses fancier houses but no better stuff for thr adults and 7 grandkids

Great Family Time

This house was the perfect place for our family of 15 holiday celebration. Our teenagers enjoyed all the gaming areas...indoor and out. The outdoor kitchen area was a great gathering place. We all enjoyed the spectacular theater. The kitchen and laundry facilities are great for a large gathering. The bedrooms are comfortable, beautifully furnished, and arranged for flexibility of group sleeping. We had an amazing time and would definitely like to come back to this property.

Great property

The pictures online are very, very accurate. The house and the outdoor areas are fantastic. We all loved our time there. My only complaint was a neighbor who obviously was not happy about a large group having fun. We respected the 9pm cutoff for ALL outdoor activities, but the neighbor was yelling at us through the fence at 8pm. This issue alone will keep us from returning to this property next year.

Best 50th birthday ever

This house was absolutely beautiful. Perfect for the amount of guests we had. Everything you could want and more was wrapped up in the home. Every amenities you could imagine were in this location. Wonderful property!

We spent 6 days here for a family reunion with 23 people. There is lots of room to spread out and give everyone their own space. So many things to do in the yard, in the house and at the pool. Every evening the guys had a billiard competition while kiddos were in the theatre watching a movie. Lots of relaxing time sitting in the hot tub and letting the kids swim in the pool. Host was very responsive when we had questions. Loved our stay in San Diego and at this property!

Amazing stay with incredible amenities

My group of 16 had a great time at this house. It was spacious with enough bedrooms and beds for everyone. The interior was clean and modern with tons of fun activities such as a pool table, shuffleboard, movie room, gym, sauna, and other arcade games. The exterior was beautiful, and we enjoyed hanging out in the pool and hot tub. My entire group agreed that this was the best house we’ve ever stayed in. Communication with Gabe was also smooth, and he was very clear about check-in and check-out instructions. He also was friendly, and helped us fix the hot tub remote one time promptly. We would love to stay here again. If you’re thinking of this house for a large group, don’t hesitate!

Best Family Vacation

This was our first time staying at a Vrbo location and it did not disappoint. Our family of 17 people really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. With all the extra activities/amenities we had plenty of fun things to do. The best part was we didnt have to leave the house in order to have fun! This property was extremely clean and included a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers! Our favorite outside activity was the outdoor "heated" pool, game room and the amazing theater! Did I forget to mention they have a gym with a sauna??? Will definitely return!!! Totally recommend!!!

Perfect Spring Break Getaway for the Family

Four families booked this home together for Spring Break with the kids. The house ended up being perfect for our trip. We didn't have to hear "I'm bored" once. Gabe has done a wonderful job equipping the house with everything we needed for our trip. Other than some store runs for food, we were all set. Prior to the trip, some of us were slightly concerned that the house was a bit too far from downtown San Diego but we didn't have any issues getting to all of our planned excursions within ~20 minutes. Being just outside the city in a nice suburb actually worked out great and helped us relax that much more. Gabe was very responsive any time we reached out for anything. We would gladly rent this home again!

Birthday Family Reunion

Wow! Wow! Wow! We had the best time. There were so many things to do, everyone was busy having fun. The 2 outdoor kitchens made preparing meals so easy and fun. We ate most of our meals by the pool. Our family enjoyed 2 birthday parties and celebrated July 4th together. We even saw fireworks from the top deck. There are many quiet spots to have conversations and get away from the excitement too. Book this you won’t be disappointed ! Our host was very attentive and answered all our questions. We will be back.

When can we go back?!

This was easily, the best family home we have ever stayed in. Exactly like the pictures! Everything is perfectly thought out with so many little comforts and fun things to do. We took our children and young grandchildren, and all 18 of us had an amazing experience. So much room to spread out, and so many things to do that we never left the property. We had planned to do many things in San Diego, but we were having too much fun at the house. I am a travel agent and have traveled all over the world and stayed in luxury hotels, but for a family vacation, this was by far the easiest, most comfortable, and funnest thing we could have done! Highly recommend! Communication is quick and easy. Loved everything! We will be back!!

Best Family Vacation Home EVER!

This property has the backyard and interior appointments of a beautiful hotel. The decor is lovely, the pool and spa, outdoor kitchen(s) play structure, pool table, ping pong table, outdoor games, like corn hole, horse shoes and putting green make this an ideal family resort. My young adult and teenage family members said the theater room was the best they’ve ever used. There are double washers and dryers and 2 high chairs and pack and plays, a tiered shelf filled with board games, skee ball, foosball, air hockey, and three free standing retro arcade video games. 3 bedrooms 2 baths upstairs, 5 bedrooms 2 baths downstairs. There is also a fully appointed workout room. Everything you could want on a family vacation is contained in this home. We really liked that there were so many seating areas—a kitchen bar, table, another very large table and outdoor deck with another 10 seats plus the outdoor kitchen with bar stools and tables as well. It was about a 25 minute drive to La Jolla Shores and Mission Beach, as well as to the San Diego Zoo. Great pizza and Italian fare at Di Leone’s Italian Restaurant nearby as well as great Mexican food at Albert’s Fresh Mexican Food in El Cajon. Host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great vacation stay in the San Diego area.
