Just steps from the beach, this seaside retreat offers an ideal central location close to bars, restaurants, gift shops, seasonal events, and festivals. A fabulous outdoor pool complex sets the stage for even more sun-soaked bliss.

The inviting interior is furnished for contemporary comfort, with vibrant coastal tones and an open-concept layout designed for family gatherings. The full kitchen is equipped for home cooking. Smart TVs are equipped in the living room and bedroom for home entertainment. Additional home features include free WiFi, central air-conditioning, and a shared washer/dryer.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

ENJOYABLE TRIP.

Few issues. Nothing to complain about. Rental was a 5star. Pool was fabulous. Beach was great. Easy access. Only negative was parking. Wasn't enough space to put vehicles side by side and open doors to exit vehicle. Ourselves and the other guest only had one vehicle so we worked it out. It would have been an issue if we had multiple vehicles. I would recommend to others.

We got there to check in after 4pm and the room was still being cleaned and had to wait another 45 minutes. The room was clean and nice. The ac kept raising the temp on its on and would wake up sweating. We listed 4 guest and they gave us only 4 towels and wash rags. Be careful closing the door on the balcony it will literally bust your finger open. Other than that it was a decent place.

Affordable condo

Nice place. Complex is older but not bad. Great pricing. Easy beach access. Balcony faces street side so not ideal for relaxing but as stated, the price is right. Nice pool but could use more frequent attention with leaves and pine needles removed but not overcrowded. Pool access can’t be beat, it’s right at the bottom of steps and parking. Some restaurants within walking distance. All in all, pleasant experience.

Saving grace was the location. Other thsn that the wntire unit needs deep cleaned and multiple things fixed loke the stove door not screwed on one side, dishwasher(falls out when rackopen) brokrn outlet in bedroom, popcorn ceiling coming off.

Honeymoon Trip 6/15-6/22

When we first arrived on the property it seemed fine, We didn’t really do a thorough inspection. However, a few days into the trip that’s when we noticed a few things. The first thing was behind the bed (which was not very sturdy) was ANIMAL FECES looked like a cat. Gross! The second thing was the broken plug by the bed with exposed wires. The third thing was the crack in the wall by the sink that allowed for tiny ants to pop out say and hello whenever food was around. We did however like that was remote (by the beach, close to restaurants, local stores.)

Ocean Reef

Nice, clean, super easy check-in process, and only a short walk to the beach. We chose this due to it being pet-friendly, and our dog really enjoyed his stay as well!

Weekend Getaway

Our stay here was great. Unfortunately it was a quick trip. The location was perfect and it was good for the price. The code worked on the door every time and we had no issues with check in! The only things that could be improved would be the light switches working in the front entrance/living room and the beach chairs were broken.

Quick Trip

The cozy condo was great for a visit to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed and furniture were very comfortable, the pool looked nice, and the beach was just steps away. The location was within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Not really satisfied

Pros: Great location right near the beach. Beach is extraordinary clean and beautiful. Cons: This “First Floor” condo requires you climb a flight of stairs. Although Amenities list Washer/Dryer, they are down a flight of stairs, across a courtyard where you pay to wash and dry your clothes. Furniture while fairly clean is worn out. You sink deeply into it. Good luck getting up. Summary: Ok for a short visit, but not a very comfortable place to stay. I give it a 2 out of 10.

We were there for our anniversary and for the most part we had a great time. The beach was amazing .

The place was nice and we enjoyed the two recliners. The only problem we found was with the bed. One side was too close to the wall which made it hard for one of us to get out of the bed in the middle of the night. We thought about moving the bed over some but then it covered up the electrical outlet.

Great experience

This was my first time renting at this location although I’ve been to gulf shores multiple times. But everything was either as shown or better! Definitely would recommend!

*****DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY*****Pull out bed incredibly squeaky. Oulet broken in bedroom.Incorrect remote for tv in bedroom.Popcorn ceiling coming off in bedroom and water stain on ceiling in kitchen above refridgerator.Floors disgusting, and overall lacking basic cleanliness. Dishwasher falls out when racks are open.Oven door missing screws so not entirely secure. Poor communication and lack of care from the on site property managment as these issues were brought up when we arrived and when we had only a day and half left of our trip they offered to have the room cleaned.No child locks on doors. I have stayed in this area many times and this is the first time ive encountered a place this dirty. The saving grace was that the location is great. I would have looked past all the other things mentioned if they would have taken care of the cleanliness as soon as it was brought to their attention. If you have young children who crawl or play on the floor i'd steer clear of this place. We wore shoes the entire time inside because if not our socks and feet were looking like we belonged on the flintstones.

Short vacation

This trip was great and this place will be an amazing return trip AFTER the construction is done. There were workers all over during the day. One morning I was woken up by one of them yelling on my balcony. It’s a very lovely place but the construction definitely put a damper on things.

Our stay at Ocean Reef Condo in Gulf Shores

Everything in general was as described with many positives. Two areas could be improved that would have made a 5 star great stay. 1. Floors were vacuumed but needed to be mopped. 2. Bed was below average both mattress and support. Would stay here again but would inquire about these 2 points before booking.

This Was Ideal For Us

Beach access and parking couldn’t have been better. We literally went barefoot from our condo, through the swimming pool area and parking area and stepped right onto the sand. The condo was bright and happy. There was just the two of us and our main focus was relaxing and walking on the beach. There is plenty more to do when you take the sidewalk through town but we were happy to enjoy the condo and beach. It’s not for persnickety people who are expecting va, va, voom. If you want to come to the beach and have a comfortable place to stay, then this is ideal. We were also amazed at how attentive the customer service was.
