Looking for a simple, laid back, affordable vacation in an unbeatable Gulf Shores location? This is the property for you! An easy walk to public beach access only a block away! Enjoy partial lagoon views from the deck. Paved walking trail on W. Lagoon Ave. This home features 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a full sized sleeper sofa in the living room making it perfect for a couple or small family. One full bathroom upstairs and a full bath with a shower in the laundry room downstairs. Updated kitchen equipped with the cookware and utensils needed to prepare a meal. Mini split and window unit heating and cooling. Wi-Fi and smart tv's are available - no satellite or cable. Popular Gulf Shores restaurants, shops, and entertainment all within minutes of this property. Come enjoy all that Gulf Shores has to offer!

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 2 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include free WiFi, 2 smart tv's, and fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, one roll paper towels/toilet paper, and travel-sized soaps per bathroom.

Always a nice stay

I really enjoy staying at this location and have visited several times. It's always a great experience overall. My only minor complaint is that there were very few basic essentials stocked. For example, there was just one trash bag left by the housekeeper, and no mini toiletries like soap or shampoo (which wasn’t a big deal since I brought my own). I did have to make a trip to the nearest store to pick up things like salt and pepper, non-stick spray for cooking, and additional trash bags. It would be helpful if a few basics were available for convenience. Also, the mattress in the bedroom could use an upgrade or at least a topper to make it more comfortable. Aside from those small things, it was a great trip, and I look forward to coming back!

Bad luck

This place was just no right for us. We had to many problems. The bed was just to soft and caused back problems. Steps just did not work for us . But our host was very accommodating . Like the heating did not keep up with the temperature she got us a heater. If we had any problems she was very willing to fix what was needed

Cute small house

This house is cute and the kitchen has been updated. Kitchen is extremely well stocked! Nice range but no dishwasher. The mattress on the bed is way too soft and quite uncomfortable, needs replaced. Furniture in the living room (coffee table and end table) are rickety and need replaced and the two chairs are old and broken down. You sink way down into them when you sit down. The leather sofa is nice. There’s also a laundry room which is a plus.

It was nice

It was a nice place. Older looking. The bottom floor smelt like gas down there. Washer and dryer worked great. The pull out bed from the couch was rough and sounded like it was gonna fall apart. Other than that it was nice.

Loved the location and house

The property was amazing and the proximity to beach, restaurants, shopping were all in walking or 2 minute drive. So peaceful, clean and relaxing! Shonna the owner was most helpful. We look forward to booking again! PS: the four C’s was my wife thoughts…

Cute, little beach house

The house is well-kept; the location is great. It's within walking distance to the beach and very close to the central restaurants and shops in town. There are beach chairs, toys, boogie boards available in the basement, which was very convenient. There is is broken deck post topper that I cut my arm on twice; that needs to be fixed. The pull-out bed is really uncomfortable; there's barely a matress on it. The bed in the main room is on a piece of plywood that sticks out on the left side and my husband scraped his leg on it a few times. There are only 4 towels in the bathroom, which isn't enough for 3 people to use over multiple days. The bathroom also smelled like a public restroom. Overall, a decent place to stay, but it's probably more ideal for two people rather than a family of 3 or more.

Great little house!

The house was cute and clean. The only thing that had us thrown off a little is the color of the house was different than in the photos. BUT that didn't have a negative impact on us! We appreciated the AC was on and house was cool when we got there. We had to reach out to the owners to ask how to lock the door and they were super quick to respond and help! I would recommend sheets and pillows for the pull out sofa or at least a notation in the description to bring your own. All in all, it was an excellent experience, clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced (which is hard to find). We loved our home away from home.

Excellent Gulfshores Property

This is the perfect little home for a small family. Easy access to the beach and a beautifully decorated home. Had a small issue with a bathroom clog, but the owner resolved it the same day and we had no other issues the entire stay. Only small iussue we had was with housekeeping. We showed up right after check-in and they still weren't done cleaning up. They changed our sheets but not our comforter and I don't think they swept before they left. Lots of dirt and sand on the floor. However, like i said earlier, that was a small issue and it didn't affect the great time we had.
