This is a 2 BR/1 BA house on 2.5 acres of land in the little town of Parkland WI. It has a nice front and back yard with a deck for grilling and relaxing and a back deck with firepit for enjoying your evening. Use the ice bath to jump start your day and get out in nature or sweat it out in the sauna. You can enjoy the house with all the amenities of home like a little weekend getaway and it is only minutes from beautiful Duluth/Superior. The train in the background and nice little county road add for a serene feel as you're relaxing and getting away from the business of life or enjoying your time in the north woods.
We stayed at this quaint country home for a weekend while we went canoeing in Northern WI. Perfect location, had everything we needed. As an added bonus there is a nostalgic supper club nearby. Would book again.
We stayed here while visiting Duluth. It was about 30 min from downtown Duluth which allowed a pretty drive in. There is a good grocery and liquor store 15 min away. Several restaurants within a few minutes as well. The house was perfect for us and our two dogs. We cooked several meals and didnât run into anything missing. There is a lot of space for the dogs to run around. The weather was rainy when we went so we didnât get to enjoy the outdoor amenities. The host communicated everything we needed to know.
Only miles away from the Wisconsin point walking trails and a short drive to downtown Duluth and Superior night life or stay and enjoy the ice plunge or the many small town local bars in the area. Enjoy great backwoods cabin feel only minutes away from one of the most iconic tourist attractions in the country with the Duluth lift bridge. The house is located on a road that is a certified four wheeler trail. You can bring ATV's and drive all the way from Superior to Ashland or even farther. The house is only minutes away from the South Shore of Lake Superior and the Wisconsin Point as well as Amnicon Falls Park where you will find plenty of space to get outdoors and enjoy hiking and wildlife as well as amazing views of the largest lake on earth. With Duluth and the whole north shore less than an hours drive the possibilities for exploring are endless.
The trains are a thing here and you will hear them from time to time. It is an active track but not awful for noise. I sleep through them but I want to make sure you know about them before booking. Trains are everywhere and converge where land meets water in Superior.
I do live in the residence on a daily basis but will not be around while guests are there. There is a cute yellow lab that lives with me as well so don't be surprised if you see some fur left clinging to furniture. Other than that the house will be professionally cleaned and maintained when guests arrive.
Take advantage of the serenity and peacefullness of a small country home with the grill, fire pit, cold plunge, sauna, and all the amenities of home for your vacation.
