Le Hanalei Moon Beach Cottage est situé au milieu de la baie de Hanalei. Le Cottage tire son nom de la célèbre chanson hawaïenne «Hanalei Moon», qui vante l'extrême beauté et le romantisme de la vallée de Hanalei sous le ciel nocturne tropical.

Le chalet est situé à l'extrémité tranquille de la ville sur Weke Road, seulement de l'herbe entre vous et le sable, sur 1/3 acre à distance de marche de tous les restaurants, boutiques et galeries. Les cascades sont la toile de fond de notre petite maison de plage.

Il y a une cuisine complète et confortable où vous pouvez concocter des plats fabuleux du marché aux poissons de Hanalei, du marché fermier, ou simplement faire des collations pour aller manger tous les soirs dans l'un des grands restaurants locaux.

Un citronnier chinois est juste devant la fenêtre de votre chambre pour prendre un verre ou une tarte. La chambre a un lit king size et des lumières pour lire la nuit et une t��lévision à écran plat. Il a une entrée de salle de bains séparée.

Nous avons une petite bibliothèque à votre disposition et quelques bons livres sur Kauai et Hawaii en général. Il y a un lit pliant dans la chambre centrale qui peut accueillir un autre invité et nous pouvons ajouter un futon pliant pour l'ensemble plus jeune. (L'occupation standard est de 2 personnes, mais peut accueillir 1 ou éventuellement 2 enfants, des frais supplémentaires s'appliquent)

Nous avons un petit télescope dans le salon pour que vous puissiez mieux voir les bateaux, les baleines et les dauphins sillonner la baie de jour et profiter de la lune et des étoiles la nuit. En été, vous verrez des bateaux, des kitesurfeurs debout et toutes sortes d'embarcations océaniques directement depuis votre salon et la véranda couverte adjacente. En hiver, vous verrez des surfeurs.

Si vous êtes chanceux, vous verrez peut-être un arc de lune, quelque chose que je n'ai vu qu'à Hanalei. Cela arrivera une nuit où il y a des étoiles, la lune et les nuages ensemble. Si les nuages naviguent sous les alizés doux et versent des larmes, la pluie sera illuminée par la lune qui brille de la partie sans nuage du ciel. Parlez à couper le souffle! Selon la luminosité de la lune, vous pouvez discerner les couleurs de l'arc-en-ciel.

La plongée en apnée, la natation, la plongée, le canotage, la randonnée, le golf et un club de santé sont tous aussi proches que votre cour avant, jusqu'à 10 minutes en voiture. Traversez votre cour avant et regardez vers la gauche; vous ne verrez probablement personne pendant un mile. Regardez à droite et vous verrez probablement des surfeurs, des joueurs de volley-ball et des amateurs de plage, avec la jetée de Hanalei au fond de la baie en arrière-plan.

Il y a une bonne douche extérieure chaude et froide pour après la plage ou sous les étoiles et une laveuse et une sécheuse sur le côté de la maison.

Perfect beachfront getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We decided on Hanalei Bay for our wedding, and the Moon Beach Cottage was the most picture perfect accommodations we could've picked. The house was clean, well equipped, and cooled down quickly after those long beach walks. It was tricky keeping the sand out of the house even with the hose outside, and there was no vacuum or broom (though there is an outdoors broom). The outdoor shower is a must-use, especially during those surprise downpours.Location was spectacular, with an expansive lawn leading to the beach. The way to town is deceptively far, but not unreasonable. The only bump in our stay was we were given the wrong directions to the house, but we had the proper address and lockbox code which was the most important part - Google maps got us there with no trouble.Overall we were thrilled with our experience with this home, and we will absolutely be returning to stay for future anniversaries.

Everything we could need was provided and the cottage was full of character and charm. If you prefer a sterile resort scene, this is not for you but it suited us perfectly- felt like a "home away from home". You can't ask for a better location, on the quiet end of the most beautiful beach- perfect for a sunrise walk to the pier (about 2 miles rt) and an afternoon float. Great neighborhood, very convenient to shops & restaurants but also quiet and tucked away on a dead-end street. Beginning to end, our communication with Beach & Bluff Realty was excellent and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here.

The house was just as represented in the listing. Simple place, but all the basic amenities were there. Nice to have the outdoor shower and washer/dryer. It was all about the location for us. We love Hanalei Bay. View is incredible. Thank you!

cozy cottage with a lovely view

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage on Hanalei Bay with a view of the bay through beautiful trees--it was hard to pull ourselves away. It had everything we needed--the outdoor shower is so convenient and there are lots of books to read if it rains. The cottage is on a lawn shared with several other rentals so we got to know our fellow visitors!

From the "welcome basket" with many goodies, to the beautiful views out our front window (better in person), to the amazing covered porch to sit during the occasional showers, and of course the best part, the mere steps to the beach. We experienced a well stocked home with everything you might need and a comfortable king bed. Everything you could hope for. We had an amazing time. Thank you!

Peaceful Oasis Steps from the Bay

An absolutely magical place that I would highly reccomend and can't wait to return to. The house was very sweet and homey. We were able to comfortably cook many meals in the house. We spent every day just reading and relaxing at the beach, which is basically only separated from the house by a large lawn. You can see the ocean from your living room window and we woke up to the sound of crashing waves and beautiful sunrises every morning. Absolutely idylic. We will be back.

Perfect location

The location of the moon beach cottage is perfect, you’re literally steps from the sand. The cottage is small but works well for two people. The AC is nice to have on hot days. It’s also on the quieter end of the bay which is nice. We had a fantastic stay.

Hanalei Moon our private refuge

We had a lovely stay at the Hanalei Moon cottage. It’s located at the western end of Hanalei Beach, on a large lawn which is shared with several other houses. The house is set well back from the beach, but the view across the lawn is pretty, and we enjoyed the easy access from the street. The cottage was well appointed, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was small but adequate for light cooking, and included an unvented gas range. We limited our cooking to breakfast items and using the microwave. There is a charcoal grill with charcoal provided. The washer and dryer worked well, though they are located outside under the overhanging eave. There is a large, outdoor shower, on a deck next to the house, and it is screened for privacy. I used that shower, daily, during our stay. There is an air conditioning unit, located in the dining / sitting area, which works well to cool the house in the evening.

Great slice of paradise

Incredible beachfront cottage bungalow building. Great for couples or families with one child. Easy walking to the beach and quick drive into town. Great for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere and more privacy.

Location! Location! Location!

This quaint bungalow was so perfect for me and my husband! Seconds walk to Hanalei Bay Beach with access to beach coolers, beach chairs and towels! Fully equipped kitchen made it easy t make breakfast every morning. Bed was very comfortable and option for open air or AC was nice! We are already trying to plan our next stay here!

Practically Perfect

We loved this little cottage! It was the perfect size for us two, with the most amazing view. A few favorite features:, comfortable bed, amazing outdoor shower, all the basic essentials for cooking, and the location can't be beat! We would definitely stay here again!
