Saluez les personnes qui traversent le pont à une voie lorsque vous faites du kayak ou du paddle-board sur la rivière Hanalei.

Après une journée au soleil, rejoignez la ville de Hanalei en 10 minutes à pied. Parcourez le village de Ching Young et le centre Hanalei avec ses bâtiments historiques, tels que l'ancienne école Hanalei, reconvertis en boutiques spécialisées et restaurants.

The house was perfect for our family of four - great layout, super comfortable, and really easy to settle into. The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted to do but still quiet and relaxing. It was so nice to find the home well-stocked with beach gear, kitchen essentials, and little extras that made our trip even smoother. Laundry was such a plus and small touches throughout took this to another level. You can tell the owners really care about making guests feel at home. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great spot - comfortable beds and set up. Kitchen is well stocked, there were even beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkels to use! It made things so easy. The lack of ac was very tough as the bedrooms don’t get any breeze even with the sliding doors open (which I was uncomfortable with safety wise). The property manager sent over some fans which helped but overall it was still very hot for sleep. The living room was nice and cool with plenty of cross ventilation, as was the porch.

Amazing Stay!

My husband and I loved staying at this property for our baby moon. The location was excellent - quick walk to beach and town. The house was very clean and cozy with beautiful view of the mountains from large patio. We definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!

Lovely Home

This beautiful comfortable home was very clean and was located within a short walking distance to Hanalei Beach. Our family had a fabulous time for Spring break and hope to visit again in the future.

Great stay in Hanalei

This property was such a fun place to stay for a visit to the North Shore. Everything was fantastic but you should know that there is no air conditioning and the open air feel leaves you sleeping with the crowing roosters outside. For us, that made the experience even better and more authentic.

Great place to stay

The Hanalei location was very convenient for accessing beaches while having a place to retreat when it rained. Hearing rain on the metal roof while sitting on the lanai was lovely. We appreciated having access to the beach equipment. My daughter liked the shampoo :)

Clean, convient and comfortable

I'll be back! Henry is great and the house is perfect. The bikes make it so easy to go to town and being across the street from the beach was lovely. The lanai was enjoyable to sit and relax on. I really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning. The house was very clan and beds comfortable. No complaints!

Perfect!

The house beautiful with all the amenities you need! The walk to the beach with all the beach gear is unbeatable. Also so close to town! The house itself so pretty and sitting on the balcony with our coffee as it rained was pure bliss. No a/c that we noticed but that didn’t matter to us and fans in every room. The second bedroom you access from the balcony, not the main house. Also not a problem for us but for someone with tiny kids .. We would absolutely stay here again and missed it when we went to our next spot!

Wonderful

Our stay in Hanalei was just wonderful. The house was clean and well equipped. I will say the 2nd bedroom not being attached to the main living area was an issue for us with two young kids. They and we, didn't feel comfortable with them sleeping in a room that could only be accessed by walking outside. Luckily there was a pull out couch. I wish I had understood this detail in the description of the house. Other than that, we were very happy and comfortable with the house.

Great Location and Quiet Getaway

This is a well-maintained house with a great location - near a quiet beach, plenty of restaurants (including outdoor seating, which is COVID-helpful), and shopping. Walkable to both the beach and the "downtown" strip, with a great breakfast option that opens at 7 a.m. local time (critical for anybody with jetlag). Lots of beach chairs, toys, bikes, etc. available for your use, as well as a convenient washer/dryer and clothesline for beachwear, etc. The management company responded quickly and thoroughly to my questions about the property and the area, in general. I'd add that this is likely one of the few houses available in the "downtown Hanalei" area - houses that are further west aren't nearly as well-situated to access things via walking, and I didn't see many/any houses east of the "downtown" stretch. Great location!

Well stocked in every way for comfort and fun - from the kitchen to the downstairs toy closet, complete with beach chairs, snorkels equipment, boogie boards, and our favorites - beach cruiser bikes. So easy to ride to the beach or ride into town. The folks at Makana Kauai were wonderful to deal with throughout - communicative and very helpful. Would come back in a heartbeat. Mahalo!!

Comfortable Stay & Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 3 stayed eight nights at this location. The house is wonderfully equipped - full kitchen, lots of towels, and all the beach items you could need (chairs, towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, etc). The house is a 3 minute walk across the main road to Hanalei Bay and is a 1 minute car ride to downtown Hanalei. Beds are comfortable and the house makes great use of indoor/outdoor living. We found it a perfect home base for all activities on the north shore. Note that there is no air conditioning and although there is good air flow throughout the house, it did get warm at times (we were there in August) although the house did cool down overnight. Overall a fantastic stay in a great location!

Happy in Hanalei 💙

Beautiful little house in paradise. This house had everything we needed - 4 bikes (which we defiantly rode daily), and all the beach gear you could want I.,e., towels, ice chests, sand toys, snorkeling gear, etc. the home was cute, clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet & respectful. One of the neighbors even brought us home grown lemons from her garden! Super close to the Saturday farmers market - a must see! So many beautiful fruits & vegetables to take back. Easy to prepare all meals. We purchased fresh fish at the Dolphin Market & brought if back to make some of the most delicious fish tacos ever! Although the weather wasn’t always 100% we learned to live with the rain & would check out surrounding beaches on gloomy days. The food truck parking lot including Trucking Delicious & Tumeric, Aloha Juice Bar & Hanalei Poke are all to die for. These will haunt my dreams for awhile, lol... AMA had delicious ramen & beautiful view. One night, the hubs & I got real fancy for a cocktail at sunset down at the St. Regis in Princeville. We also tried the Princeville Ranch Zipline adventure - very fun! Thank you Henry for sharing your hold with us. These are memories we won’t soon forget. Can’t wait to return! ❤️

This home is a lovely space that oozes with integrity. Hanalei is a very special place on the island and to be in such close proximity to both the beaches as well as to the stunning mountains is unreal. We very much felt and took in the sacredness of the mountains from the lanai as we relaxed, ate, laughed and even cried a little. The house and its rooms are smaller than the photos make them look and the size was just right for us. The roosters and the occasional doggies saying "Hi" added to our vacation vibe allowing us to imagine living on this very healing island of Kauai. We'd love to come back again and again! Mahalo

Hale Maile is extraordinary in every way. It is perfectly located, just a three minute walk to beautiful Hanalei Bay and a five minute walk into town. It is very quiet except for the sounds of birds and of course, roosters. The space is well appointed and comfortable with every detail taken care of. We especially loved the beach accessories that were included. Communication was quick and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful home in the heart of Hanalei. Hale Maile had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We made use of the well stocked kitchen, walked into Hanalei several times, and enjoyed use of the beach chairs and umbrella. Next time I come to Kauai, I will only stay here!
