Featured in the Houston Chronicle as the most affordable VRBO, ACME Ranch is the PERFECT getaway for large gatherings. It is a private, gated waterfront 74 acre ranch with 900 feet of Lake Travis shoreline surrounded by The Texas Hill Country. Deep waterfront at the front of the property offers amazing and expansive views. While it provides luxurious accommodations, it also has all the amenities you can imagine, and once you arrive, you will not want to leave. Amenities include free WiFi, satellite television, Sonos wireless stereo system, a floating boat dock, swimming pool, spa, chipping/putting greens, horseshoe pit, washersâ pit, outdoor chess game, basketball hoop, foosball, ping pong table, pool table, shuffleboard, bicycles, and miles of hiking trails in the property. If you love exploring, bring your mountain bike or 4 wheeler since there are 74 acres for you to enjoy! You can even bring your horses! (Please check with us if you are interested.) The location is perfect because although it feels secluded and private, you are very close to Lago Vista. (This home is closer to Lago Vista than it is to Marble Falls.) with great restaurants, golf, wineries, paint ball, zip lining, etc. It is only 40 miles from downtown Austin.

Cabin: The original homestead has been updated and is a perfect companion for the main home. With beautiful glass mosaic accents, full kitchen and an inviting interior, it offers a quiet getaway from the main home. The covered front porch encourages you to linger. It has 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, futon, full bathroom and sleeps 4-6.
Bunkhouse: The bunkhouse is on the second floor of âThe Barn.â It is a spacious, open room with bunk beds (6 twin beds, 2 full beds), a futon, foosball table, a kitchenette with microwave and small refrigerator and sleeps 10-12.
The outdoor setting with all of the available activities gives this home a very unique advantage over most vacation homes. The combination of Lake Travis, The Texas Hill Country, and a private ranch will completely remove you from any stress and worries you might have had, leaving you revived and renewed. Acme Ranch is the essence of a luxury vacation homeâand a little bit extra. The property is lakefront and you can enjoy water recreation like boating, fishing, skiing, and swimming in the lake. There are some basic fishing poles so you can try your luck fishing off the deck. (Please bring your own hooks and tackle.)

Information on Lake Travis & dock: Lake Travis is a beautiful lake which offers all kinds of boating activities. When it is full it is 681 ft deep. It is not a constant level lake so the level depends on drought situations. Please check current level before making a reservation. Refunds are not given for low lake levels. This is a bluff property which requires stairs/steps to the lake and dock.
Cancellation Policy: Reservation/Rental deposit & Final Rental Amount: Should you fail to utilize this reservation, LESSOR retains all funds received by LESSEE as liquidated damages unless a cancellation is requested within 3 days of making the first payment or the confirmed unit is re-rented at the same rate for the same time period. If the latter occurs, we retain a 25% administrative fee. Failure to return the lease in the requested time may also constitute a cancellation and the cancellation policy will apply. Before you book, please consider the effects COVID-19 could make on your reservation. Since all bookings made at this point occur with knowledge of the virus and possible consequences, our normal cancellation policy is now in effect. What size boat will fit in the boat dock slip? The actual slip is 24'2" x 10' (although you probably would want more than a 9' wide boat to enter the dock. There is an additional 15 inch length of roof overhang, so a 26' boat would barely hang out past the roof line. The lift beams are 12' long and run between 3' and 15' into the slip.
What is the weight limit for the boat? ~6500 pounds
Can we have a noon check out? It depends on if there is a conflict with another reservation or scheduled maintenance
Do you offer daily cleaning? Arrangements can be made with our cleaning company. The charge depends on what you want done
Do you allow pets? Two dogs is the maximum. Permission must be given. There is a nonrefundable pet fee of $250 per pet.
