It was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The home was very inviting and filled with anything you needed. We will definitely book this home again.
The Sunset Wonder was a perfect stay for my coworkers and I. We got to have a staff night away and chose this beautiful little place right off the lake. It even had a private little dock for the surrounding area of tiny homes. Very spacious and cozy for all to enjoy. Our favorite part was the outdoor porch with a long table and chairs, a giant swing, and a little fire pit just steps away. This was our second year choosing a place at The Retreat and we plan to be back in the fall. We enjoyed every moment, thank you!
Our stay at this charming 2-bedroom tiny house was absolutely perfect! The space was immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully decorated, making it feel cozy yet stylish. The breathtaking lake view was the highlight. We couldnât have asked for a better retreat and canât wait to return! Highly recommend!
We had a great time and love the attention to detail the owners put into Sunset Wonder. Beautifully decorated with all the kitchen supplies you need to enjoy the kitchen if you like that. So relaxing and enjoyed a short hike to Foster Falls nearby.
My 4-night stay with my mom was amazing!! This tiny retreat was just as pictured and described online. It was well-stocked with a multitude of practical supplies. We were truly impressed with the peaceful, friendly and respectful atmosphere throughout the entire retreat community. Also, the customer service and helpful local tips were truly appreciated. We highly recommend escaping to Sunset Wonder!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Wonder. The âtinyâ home was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything you would need to enjoy a quiet weekend away. The outdoor spaces extended the living area into the amazing views of the lake. My wife and I loved the cozy loft as well. It was just what we needed. We will definitely be back!
Place was in great condition and perfect for a weekend getaway. Very impressed with this tiny and snd tge community in general. We will be back when we can stay longer.
Came to town for a weekend Cavern show. The house was great. Clean, well-equipped with great location. Went hiking on the Fiery Gizzard Trail and saw BlackBerry Smoke in the Caverns. Great weekend.
Sunset Wonder was a perfect tiny home. It is decorated beautifully. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The porch is large and we made well use of it, as well as the fire pit. We enjoy kayaking and fishing. Unfortunately, the water level was extremely low making it almost impossible to launch. We managed but sunk in a lot of mud getting to the water. This has nothing to do with the tiny home. Next time, we will probably check. From what we heard, it was very unusual. We still had a great time!! We will be back.
Six of us stayed here for my son's graduation weekend at Sewanee. I cannot believe how comfortable our stay was, given that we had a full house. It lives large. Everything we could possibly need was available in the kitchen -- pots, pans, dishes, spices, etc ect. The table on the screened porch accommodated us nicely for evening meals. In the mornings we got up early and watched red-headed woodpeckers, red-winged blackbirds, house finches, geese, songbirds. My sons fished down at the lake and caught bluegill. All of this a short 15 minute drive from campus. We will definitely come back for weekend getaways. Thank you!
Beautiful not-so-tiny home 2 bedrooms downstairs with 2 full baths and a loft area! Nice location within Tiny Home community and relatively easy to find in the day light. Fire pit was nice as well as outdoor porch areas to sit and drink coffee.
Cons: the hall mirror looked as though someone cleaned it with an oily cloth, there were fruit loops under the outside table and chairs so it hadnât been cleaned, the porch cushions on the deck overlooking the pond had to be flipped because of dirt and grime, the flip side was a bit better, the coffee area was nice, but bring your own coffee and creamer. My main concern was there was a dishwasher in the kitchen however there was no dishwashing detergent so that we could clean the utensils and glasses we used. There was only one dishcloth and one dish towel provided. When I read the check out instructions it said to âwash and put away your dishesâ which must have meant by hand. I donât have a problem doing that however had I known that the dishes hadnât been dishwasher sanitized I would have washed them before use because you never know how others wash dishes. All in all, we had a good night stay but I was rather disappointed with the overall cleanliness. No wood is provided for fire pit, I purchased from host company for $20 which included 5 small sticks of wood, 2 fire starters and a lighter. You would be better off to bring your own, however we had no additional room for that in our vehicle.
This spot is beautiful. We stayed for a 3 day Caverns Concert and booked a shuttle to takes us back and forth. The place is beautiful and had all the amenities we wanted and needed. We will be staying here for every Caverns concert moving forward. Thank you!
