Escape to this *brand new* 2-bedroom house in Monteagle. Close to Sewanee! Relax in the hot tub while looking out over the woods! With a king bed, full bed, and twin bed, this cozy retreat is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like WiFi, fire pit, and washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Two full bathrooms are included in this roomy home. You’ll love the peaceful wooded atmosphere and the terrific location. Located in the serene gated community The Retreat at Sunset Bluff In Monteagle, TN.

The community is only 8 miles from Sewanee University and even closer to many of the most beautiful hiking trails in Tennessee!! Are you a golfer? If so, this is the spot for you! Located near several amazing courses including Sweetons Cove!

Hot tub with easy lift cover on private deck. The deck also includes a sectional sofa with tranquil views of the woods. Sip some coffee on the deck and watch for hummingbirds that frequent the feeder!

The outdoor fire pit is located just behind the house with an easily accessible and well lit walking path. Surrounding the fire pit are 5 adjustable Adirondack chairs. The short path to the fire pit is lined with timed string lights. Don’t forget to bring your firewood and kindling or purchase some at many of the local stores nearby.

One king size bed in the enormous master bedroom on the main level. This bedroom also has its own private full bathroom including a double vanity. Enjoy the Roku tv while relaxing on the adjustable bed while looking out over the forest!

The loft has one twin and one full bed. This room has a tv and a Nintendo gaming system. The loft also includes couch seating. There are 9 steps leading up to the loft. Use of the stairs is not reccommended for small children.

Please be aware this community is relatively new. You may experience homes throughout the neighborhood that are under various phases of completion however the neighborhood is generally very quiet and this is not typically an issue. This home is located in the very back of the community and there’s typically no noise other than the rustling of wind through the trees or sounds of nature.

There are various walking trails as well as a playground and outdoor games. The entire neighborhood is very walkable. This neighborhood is just across the road from the very popular Mountain Goat Trail. There are bike rentals available at nearby businesses or you can bring your own!

There’s a super cool handy guest book in the home. It includes a lot of helpful information including our favorite places to eat as well as helpful home details!
