Though you’ll be within walking distance of the lake, Ski Beach Park, plus the shops, restaurants, and amenities on Big Bear Blvd., you’ll feel a million miles away. Ski slopes, hiking and biking trails, golf courses, and more are all an easy drive.

But before adventures - coffee. Grab a seat on your covered patio while you enjoy the tree-lined view with the first cup of the day, then step inside to make some breakfast when you get hungry. The main living area features an open floor plan, vaulted, knotty-pine ceilings, a gas fireplace, and lots of room to spread out. Whip up a meal in the full, well-equipped kitchen, then dine together at the window-front table before heading out.

Rent a bike to explore on two wheels, and when you return, get the fireplace going for maximum coziness. Entertainment options include a PlayStation, three streaming-capable TVs, free WiFi, a DVD player and movie library, and board games. Even better, spend the evening soaking in the hot tub, on a private deck off the primary bedroom. Keep dinner prep simple with the gas grill, then call it a night - but not before another toast to your good luck at booking the perfect Big Bear getaway.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
