Great House

Nathan and Kara's house is beautiful and well-equipped throughout every room. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a group. We all enjoyed our stay and were glad we chose this house for our weekend trip!

Beautiful house

My family and I traveled to celebrate my daughter’s 9 years birthday. The house is beautiful, clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is also only about 10 minutes from fun activities for the family.

Bachelorette Weekend

Super cute place in the Poconos! The hot tub was not the cleanest as it was murky and there was a set of fake nails on the wall next to it, but everything inside was pretty clean.

The perfect Pocono Getaway

Rented this property for myself and 6 family member to share for a few days. We were all blown away with the house. The design was beautiful and the hot tub and fire pit were nice touches! Immaculately clean. I hope to stay here again in the future!

BEST POCONO HOME

It was an all adult family female group and we each had our own room and bathroom. We cozied in the hot tub first night and the house and all was clean and marvelous. My mom and aunt had the most wonderful and relaxed time. I’m sooo appreciative of the owners that the coffee bar was loaded, we needed no coffee supplies. The kitchen was stocked and we never had to venture out for basic needs. Most pleasant experience as a veteran VRBO renter!

Pick this property!

This house was beautifully decorated and immaculately kept. We thoroughly enjoyed the hottub and the board games- some of whose pieces were mixed up/missing but I organized them back together as best I could. It's huge, plenty of space for family and a great open kitchen. The kids loved the playhouse and giant jenga. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE! Best night's sleep we've had in a long time. Ten stars if I could!

The home was beautifully styled and very spacious. We had several planned activities for my daughter’s 18th birthday, so we spent much of our time out enjoying the weekend. We especially enjoyed using the fire pit to make s’mores. We had planned to use the hot tub on Saturday, but it began to snow.Overall, the home was nice; however, there were a few concerns that should be addressed. The floor panels in the dining room area were coming up and should be looked at. Additionally, a family member nearly got hurt when attempting to sit in a chair in the upstairs bedroom with the loft bed, as one of the chair legs was broken. We also noticed a broken window and burns on the living room carpet.Lastly, I want to thank the homeowners for coming by promptly to shovel everything in time for us to check out after the overnight snowstorm. Overall, I would give a 4 out of 5 stars!

By day, Nathan runs a design-build remodeling company while Kara enjoys home-schooling our two kiddos. By night, we are often spending time with a small group of friends from our church. We are well-traveled VRBO guests. We know what a host should do to create a comfortable guest experience.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with the setting of this home. Kara loves history and learning that the home and property was previously the home of a stone mason. We envisioned how charming the property would be once lite up at night to highlight the charming natural stone features including stone walkways, two arched stone bridges & stone walls.

Although the property needed a lot of to improve the overall layout of the home so that it would be able to handle larger groups, we were confident the end result would be fantastic. We were so pleased to finish up the renovations after touching every area of the home.

You will find the home perfectly suites large groups by giving plenty of space to spread out and not be on-top of each other. The two separate living rooms consisting of a large hang-out room and a secondary game room allow for the kids to be in one area while the adults stay in another.

Lastly, we made a last minute decision to add a 3rd full bathroom giving the home 2 master suites that have their own private bathroom.

In the end we are so excited to now be sharing this with YOU. Enjoy have a wonderful time - now go create some memories!!!

The park-like setting in the back yard of the property is one-of-a kind. You will find an arched stone bridge and a beautiful hand-laid stone wall that surrounds the property. In the yard you will find a super fun and charming playhouse perfect to let kid’s imaginations run wild in the charming, whimsical playhouse that includes a “secret trap door,” deck, slide, and climbing wall.

The overall layout of the property was specifically created with large groups in mind giving plenty of spaces to spread out.
