The quintessential dog friendly Lake Wallenpaupack getaway! Cozy blue cabin close to the lake! This is a lake view cabin that is a very short walk to the lake.

Central air and heat, beautiful original stone fireplace, outdoor deck, fire pit, and plenty of room for corn hole!!

The town is Lake Ariel, and the lake it is on is Lake Wallenpaupack. It is a Lake View home that's a short walk to the lake area ( I would estimate around 200 feet to get to the lake/launch area). It has a community beach area where you can hang out at the lake, launch kayaks, fish, etc.

Close to many restaurants around the lake area. Perfect getaway cabin!

Great little get away!

This house was perfect for a quick weekend! There is a small beach by the lake that’s nice for a walk/morning coffee. It’s not a touristy area at all so it’s quiet and peaceful. I would say if you’re looking to be isolated it’s not necessarily for you, as it is in a community of houses, but if that doesn’t bother you it’s definitely still a great location! The host is extremely helpful and friendly. I had asked if there were board games and he literally went and bought some haha! GREAT place for dogs! The house itself has everything you need and the grocery store is maybe 15 minutes away. There are great trails nearby as well. I am pregnant so we spent our “baby moon” here and it was literally perfect :)

Awesome place going to stay here again

Awesome house!. Would like to stay here with some of my other family. Maybe in the summer next time so we can use the lake. It was still awesome in the winter

Snow storm at the lake

It snowed, but community delt with it quick and it did not impact our. Very clean, warm and cozy. Good communication, did not need anything. Love the lake, and fire place.

Perfect little getaway.

Place was as listed. Very clean, with everything you really need. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Property is in a great spot for access to the lake. We definitely be back.

Adorable cabin in beautiful location!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four plus our dog! The neighborhood is calm and the lake and changing leaves were beautiful! Great communication from the host and checking in was super easy. Thanks for a great stay!

Lake Weekend Getaway

We wanted a place to get away for the weekend that was pet friendly and immersed in fall foliage. The Blue House was the absolute perfect match! Jack was responsive and the whole process was so smooth. We were very fortunate with perfect weather - got to enjoy the lake, nearby trails and the fire pit at night. The neighborhood was quiet and it was such a peaceful weekend disconnecting. Would book again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a lake retreat!

Beautiful Area

We loved our stay in this cabin. It was in a very beautiful and very quiet area. There were a lot of things to do within a short drive. Fall was the perfect time to stay with all the trees changing colors and a nice chill in the air.

Little Blue Cabin!

Our family had such a great long weekend stay. Easy walk to the Lake/Beach area. Great fireplace and firepit! Everything in the house was easy to use and we had everything we needed.

Great location, great house.

Perfect spot for reunion of old college friends. Quiet peaceful setting on the lake. Also close to restaurants, markets and fishing.

Second year for us!

The house is always so clean and everything is easy to access. There is a short walk to a small beach area where we spend a lot of time. We rented a boat again this year and we all had a great time! The house is a great size and we loved it!

Didn’t want to leave

We had a wonderful week making memories in The Blue House with our 4 sons(ages 10-13) and pup named Blue. Everyone had their own space but still felt all together in this cozy yet comfortable cabin. Even on the rainy days we were able to enjoy movies, board games and hanging out on the covered part of the porch. On Sunny days my family was able to hop on our boat at the bottom of the hill when my husband picked it up from the marina and drive over to the cove and meet us at the end of the Dock. Everyone was so friendly and we felt so comfortable the entire stay.

Wonderful Cabin

We were traveling to the area for a wedding and decided to make a little vacation out of it. The house was just perfect, everything was clean and ready for us. Our family of four was very comfortable and our dog loved it too. The kitchen had everything you could need, we didn’t cook much, but it would have been easy to do so. Access to the lake is just across the street and the neighborhood is very quiet and nice for walking. We enjoyed using the fire pit one night and sitting out on the deck. The only downfall was that we didn’t have more time there! Great relaxing weekend!

Phenomenal property

Jack is a great host. The property is a nice little cabin. Only a 15 minute drive to everything. You have access to the lake down the road. Nice small little community. We would definitely recommend.

Very nice and cozy

Very nice and cozy cottage in a beautiful area. Very accommodating and comfortable. My kids had a blast and it was a great family spot, nice palce to make great memories. Jack was very nice and informative as well. Would definitely recommend staying here and would aslo return in future years!! Thanks Jack!!!😁
