This Poconos haven is ready for your next family or group getaway and offers an upscale home base with easy access to tons of 4-season fun!



The Hideout offers the following amenities for rental guests: Gym, pool (in season), indoor and outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, golf course, putt-putt course (we provide the balls and clubs on request), private ski hill.



You'll also be a short drive from Historic Hawley and Honesdale. There you can enjoy the day on one of the nearby lakes or eat at one of many restaurants in town.



We aim to provide an impeccably functioning home that is superbly clean with everything you should need to unwind and relax. We will send a guest book (post booking) with everything we provide, including pictures of everything included in the kitchen. Below are more specifics on the house, Hideout Community, and booking information:



ALL INCLUSIVE - LINENS

We provide hotel-quality towels, sheets, pillows and basic necessities at no additional charge. We aim to keep a lightly stocked kitchen with, coffee, salt/pepper, and a handful of different seasonings.

THE HIDEOUT: 24-hour security, gated entrance, clubhouse, lodge, 250 acres of pristine woodlands, 9-hole golf course w/ 2 restaurants, 2 heated outdoor pools, basketball courts, indoor/outdoor tennis courts, 2 sand beaches w/ lifeguards, 2 lakes, physical fitness center (some amenities will require additional fees). WALKING DISTANCE to the Hideout Ski Hill!

Please note that this property is located in a community that requires guest registration. To meet this requirement, all required documentation must be submitted no later than 5 days before check-in. If the documentation is not provided on time, a $100 late fee will be charged to the guests.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped w/ cooking basics, stainless steel appliances, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso, Keurig, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, wine cooler, island w/ seating



GENERAL: Free WiFi, complimentary toiletries, towels/linens, cleaning essentials, washer & dryer, air conditioning



FAQ: Stairs required, 4-wheel drive required (winter months), Ring doorbell security camera, 2 bedrooms on main floor



PARKING: Driveway (3 vehicles), Car pad (3 vehicles)

Guests will have access to the entire property via keyless entry



Other Things to Note:

HOUSE RULES

- No smoking

- Well behaved dogs allowed on a case-by-case basis for an additional $75 per pet fee.

- No events, parties, or large gatherings

- Additional fees and taxes may apply

- Photo ID may be required upon check-in

- NOTE: The property requires stairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility. There are two bedrooms located on the main level

- NOTE: Your safety matters. There is a Ring doorbell security camera, located next to the front door facing out. It does not look into any interior spaces

- NOTE: 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is necessary in the winter months to access the property

- NOTE: There is an HOA form that needs to be submitted 5 days before arrival to the homeowner/guest contact. Guests will not gain access to the property if this is not completed



Please note we have a minimum age requirement of 25 years old.

We require the majority of guests to be above 25 years old, with the exception of families with children.

Please note guests must fill out a rental permit with the association 5 days prior to arrival. A link will be provided post booking.

Guests must register their private boats with the Hideout Association if they plan to bring.



Absolutely no more than 13 people and 6 cars are allowed on the lot.

ALERT FOR FRIEND GROUPS - HOA only allows for up to 3 unrelated adults/households when renting.

No other guests can visit the Lot while you are there. All names and ages must be registered on the application when submitted.



Please note there are neighbors around the house and sound travels far. We are trying to create a serene getaway for our guests as well as be respectful to our neighbors. So we ask that outside noise be kept to reasonable levels. To ensure this environment we have outdoor noise monitors.



Weekly bookings accepted during the summer. Saturday check in and check out



We aim to set the standard for short-term rental experiences.

We will proactively notify you when early check-in and/or late check-out are possible.



Please Note Guests MUST fill out a rental application. Instructions sent post booking.



We provide 9 guest badges for every rental. This is the most the Hideout allows us to provide. If additional guests (up to 13) require badges, they can be purchased for an additional non-refundable fee at the POA office, Tuesday - Saturday 8am - 4pm.



Grocery Shopping - You can now use the Rosie app to order grocery delivery from the local Lake Region IGA in Hawley, PA



Interaction with Guests:

Guests let themselves into the house via a Smart Lock and have no interaction with the manager. Manager available via cell for any questions during stay.

Great family vacation! Loved the multiple decks especially the one down by the lake . It had everything you needed right there . We loved fishing , kayaking & paddle boarding right at our house . Will be back !

Beautiful holiday getaway!!

This property was perfect for our Thanksgiving holiday. Plenty of room to entertain, but cozy tucked away bedrooms for privacy. The home has all the cooking necessities, and a well equipped kitchen. Overall, for a gang, this is a great spot. The HOA / check-in is a bit funky, it all works out fine, do not panic!!!
