"Sun of the Beach" is a cute cottage located in Gulf Shores Alabama; within walking distance to the beautiful beach just two blocks away. Accommodations for six people plus your furry family member. It offers a full kitchen, washer and dryer, great deck for enjoying the outdoors.

This home is pet friendly, SMALL dogs only. Limit two dogs. No other pets allowed. The following breeds are prohibited by the association by-laws: Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, or Pit Bull. To book a pet friendly property, you MUST call the office Monday-Friday 9-5 at YOU CANNOT BOOK A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY ONLINE.
Rules for renting with a dog:
-Your dog must be older than 9-months.
-Your dog must always remain on a leash when outside of the house.
-You must clean up after your dog.
-No excessive barking.
-Paid pet fee of $120, PER PET. (It will be itemized on your receipt.)
Failure to follow these rules WILL result in immediate eviction of you or your dog, with no returned money.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We wanted a nice clean and spacious place to stay for a few days. Our place was perfect. Although it wasn't right on the beach, it was exactly what we were looking for. A couple blocks off the beach, making it easy in and out and close to everything. We loved it!

Reviewer Comments: Close to many good restaurants, tanger outlet close and pickleball facilities nearby. The property itself needs some serious cleaning inside and out.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sun of the Beach was close to everything. Kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, blenders, and glasses galore. Inside is well maintained. Outside balcony needs some attention to detail. Shelby was super helpful and attentive to our questions when we arrived. Would recommend.

Not the best

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home itself was ok - multiple tiny improvements would have cut down the frustration. 1st I tripped and fell, said something- no one even asked if I was ok, just sending out maintenance which didn’t fix the issue. Bunk beds were wobbly and not safe for the kids, new mattress topper in spare room is needed, no oven mits, non working can opener, poor blender. Simple fixes!
