A nice home in a nice convenient area

My family traveled to Richmond to surprise my daughter for her 21st birthday. We brought our dog with us. The house is great for pets as it’s fenced in the front and back. The house is older but it’s clean and well put together. We did have an issue with little ants crawling throughout the place but the owners were super responsive and sprayed the house. The parking is in the alley out back or on the street out front. There’s a second rental which I imagine may have been a garage in the backyard, which wasn’t a problem for us but if you’re looking to have late night outdoors gatherings the campfire pit is right outside the other rental. So keep the noise to a minimum after hours. The other rental was occupied the whole time we were in the house. This is a great place for families traveling to Richmond with pets. The entrances are not handicapped friendly if you’re not able to go up stairs without a ramp. I have an ambulatory 14 yr old with cerebral palsy, he was able to do the stairs in both the front and the back with minimal assistance. One of the showers has handicapped bars for getting in and out, the other shower is very high up and was not accessible at all for my son. The area is convenient to a lot of places and walkable too.

Best short term rental in RVA for us

For our week long stay, this house proved to be outstanding. Fantastic location; very safe and walkable. House was clean. Beds and sofa were comfortable. Property manager was exceptionally responsive. Single story was a huge plus for us. Hope to stay there again in May.

Bridal Shower

We came to Richmond for my soon to be DIL bridal shower. Parking was easy, the house was great and it was close to the shower venue. It gave my family time to reconnect and celebrate the bride to be. Thanks so much!

Nice spot

Our hosts were great and very responsive throughout the length of our long stay. The location was perfect. Very accessible to the Richmond area and immediate proximity to downtown and west end. It needed a good cleaning… but the host responded immediately and came and cleaned again. We felt the beds were super soft and for us they were uncomfortable. The 2d bath in the rear of the house was always super cold, so we didn’t use it (in fairness we never brought this to hosts attention as we made due with the one bath). No dressers or chests for clothes in the bedrooms, but each had a small closet; which is fine but not ideal for longer stays.

Wonderful Stay

We came to watch our daughter run the Richmond Marathon. The location of this property was perfect as we were able to walk to the marathon route. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for seven of us to stay. Having laundry on site amd two full baths was so helpful. Communication with the host was prompt and seemless. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent location, attentive hosting

The location of this property was perfect for a visit with family in Richmond. Enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and the ease of parking. Neighborhood was quiet. The check in and communication with the host was easy and attentive. We did not bring our dog but I took note of the fact that this would be a perfect place if traveling with a dog with the backyard fenced in and a nice neighborhood for walking. I also noted that the house was clean considering how pet friendly it is. The house is a little dated but certainly pleasant enough and, again, the older furnishing are child and pet friendly. The backyard and deck are very nice and we definitly enjoyed the outdoor space. We like to eat in and I did find the kitchen supplies dated and minimal but would be adequate if eating out for most meals and certainly clean. Overall, a positive experience and recommended.

Same but nice location

Tight squeeze for a family of 4! There were ants throughout the house even in the bedroom. It was tough to communicate with the owner as I would message via vrbo but a response came via email so the communication thread was not visible. But location was great! Also to note the backyard backs up right to another tiny house that someone lives in so it’s basically on the property. It was not an issue but surprising to see someone! A heads up would have been appreciated!

CONVENIENT LOCATION

Excellent location for all things Richmond. Close proximity to restaurants, attractions and grocery stores. Convenient parking right in front of the house. Nice little house. No dressers in the three bedrooms, however, but there was ample closet space. Seemed to be a quiet neighborhood. A good cleaning would have allowed me to give 5 stars. Deck needs repaired. All in all, not bad.

Super convenient!

Overall it’s a clean, quiet brick home on a tree lined street. We were there for a trip with old college friends where we biked all over the city and enjoyed the local restaurants and breweries. A great deal for such a nice place. The fire pit was a nice touch to sit down and enjoy coffee or an evening beverage. Nice bathrooms with all toiletries provided. Cozy kitchen had everything we needed. 10/10!!

Charming Retreat in Richmond

Our stay at this short-term rental in Richmond was simply delightful! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet conveniently close to all amenities, this property offered the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. The fenced yard was a big plus, especially for our furry companion who could roam freely. Inside, we found a clean and comfortable atmosphere that immediately felt like home. The attention to detail was evident in every room, from the cozy living space to the well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms provided a peaceful night's sleep after exploring Richmond's attractions. Fantastic Home!

This was a wonderful home and a fantastic experience. The host was perfectly communicative, the check in process was simple and seamless. The house was clean and comfortable, stocked with everything we needed- including a functioning grill and a stockpile of wood for fires out back, which we had one every single night. We had four adults and three children, and there was plenty of space between the rooms. The beds were comfortable and having a large TV in the living room preset with streaming services was a great amenity! The neighborhood was very nice, and close enough to a bunch of breweries for us to walk around- as well as right by the children’s museum, which came in handy! Will DEFINITELY be staying here again!

Richmond AAU tournament.

Great stay the dogs really enjoyed the backyard. The coaches enjoyed the other houses well, not sure which houses says, but both houses were really well.

Great experience

Mei and Erik were great hosts. We had a very long day and it was capped off by a seamless check in process that ended with a complimentary bottle of wine from them. The house was clean, warm (was chilly out) and well kept. Our pets loved the fenced in yard and we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Thanks again for letting us stay in your home!

Thanksgiving in Tichmond

Erik & Mei’s property was clean and perfectly ready for our arrival. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate so we arrived in pouring rain and weren’t able to really enjoy the spacious fenced-in yard. But it looked great, very well maintained. Communication with the hosts was clear and easy. We were visiting relatives in Richmond for the holiday and the house well suited our needs. Many thanks to the gracious hosts.
