Dog friendly, great host communication!

We came to corpus to help a family member move and this house was close to their new apartment and beaches. The host was quick to communicate an issue with one of the bed frames breaking before we arrived and had a repair person out the evening we checked in to work on it. They had to come back the next day to finish and this was communicated as well! House was spacious, comfortable and clean! The backyard space was perfect for our 2 corgis and the seating area is now covered. They’ve also put in a stock tank pool that is not pictured, but it was not cleaned/usable ( we weren’t expecting a pool so this wasn’t an issue for us at all, but as it’s not pictured wanted to mention it). The neighborhood was quiet and in a good location to stores and restaurants. The house was also stocked with plates, silverware, and cookware (no spatula but we still managed to make pancakes for breakfast!) overall, a very enjoyable stay!!

House Was Great

Great house!

We had been in a different condo for our trip and wanted to stay one more day to enjoy the good weather on Sunday we had been hoping for all weekend! This was a last minute booking and we all wished we had known about it from the beginning and we would have loved to stay a whole week here! Will keep this place in mind next time we come down to the coast!

Attention needed

House was not furnished nearly as good as others we have stayed in. Floors were very dirty. Had to request toilet paper and paper towels. Fridge was full of food from last renters. Didn’t even have a broom for us to clean up after ourselves. The house was beautiful but could be so much more!

Not cleaned and not enough cookware

When we arrived the house had not been cleaned from the previous guest. I messaged the property manager and they did send someone to clean right away. Also the kitchen is really nice but not given enough cookware to make a meal efficiently. There was 1 pan 2 small pots and a tiny baking sheet. Other than that the house was good.

Disappointing stay

I’d like to start off that the photos listed and what you see when you arrive aren’t not necessarily accurate. We were excited for our stay because of the pet accommodations but were extremely disappointed. The home was dirty. The backyard had dog feces and trash all over the place. The pool was not even clean so we were not able to use it which was a huge let down. The entire home had spiders and bugs that we had to kill.The linen closet looked like everything was just thrown in there,The bed sheets were dirty so we had to wash everything before using them. Which brings me to the dryer, it only dried clothes after putting them in for 3 cycles. The Floors were dirty and so were the restrooms. The shower had bugs that we had to kill. It was very unfortunate with the amount of pest that we had to clean and things we had to clean upon arriving.There was a surplus of full trash bags on the side of the home that we had to convince the waste control workers to take as they did not all fit inside the bin. The Coffee maker was dirty and they only had 1 knife that was extremely dull. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes as well. We had to go out and buy additional paper towels and toilet paper as they only supplied the home with 3 rolls of each. Overall was a disappointing stay and would not be staying again.

Very Disappointing but I'm glad they updated their pics now!!!

We were so disappointed in this property, we booked it because of the fenced in back yard, so we wouldnt have to walk our dog and the backyard was completely unusable! There was garbage everywhere, the grass hadnt been mowed all season ( this was end of May), construction materials laying around, the 2 chairs were disgustingly dirty...but the kicker was this deck/pool area which was not disclosed in the description or the pics and had no gate, so no way we could let our dog out, because she could drown in the pool!! (Which was filled with leaves and bugs)Not that I would anyway because the yard was just horrible. It looked nothing like the photos. We tried to get a refund so we could go to a hotel and of course the owners denied that, they didnt even offer any money back at all. Their resolution was to send someone to weed eat the next day, which did not solve the main problem of the garbage, wood planks laying everywhere and no way to close the pool area off. I was told by the owners that I could "just walk my dog".... well duh... but I spent the extra money for this house so I wouldnt have to!!! I've been renting through VRBO for years and have never had a problem, but probably wont ever again... but if you do, I suggest asking the owners if the photos are current..so lesson learned!! It looks like from the newly added photos they have cleaned it up and at least are now showing the pool area, so Im glad to see that, but that all should have been done before we complained!

Excellent rental!

I cannot say enough good things about this rental. The owner/host has the best communication, the house is SUPER clean, and great location in flour bluff. We had zero issues throughout our stay. I will rent this place over and over :)
