Situated in a family-friendly neighborhood just on the other side of the JFK Causeway from Mustang Island, this single-story home offers a convenient and accessible location close to bars, restaurants, bait shops, fishing piers, and off-shore charter services. NAS Corpus Cristi is also just a mile up the road and Texas A&M Corpus Cristi is only six miles away, making this a great choice for families visiting either service members or students. Fenced-in front and backyards offer your choice of sunny outdoor venues.
The home comes fully furnished for complete modern comfort, with essentials including a full kitchen, free WiFi, central air-conditioning, and a private washer/dryer. The living room smart TV offers a spot for casual downtime after the day's activities.
House Rules Check-in time: 4:00 pm. Check-out time: 10:00 am. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
**Due to the location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night, and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.

Nice family beach weekend

Lack of so many things.
1. It was a easy check in and the house was very clean, kitchen seasoning and dishes were well stocked.
2. There is no dining table to accommodate for the family except 2 bar stools for kitchen island.
3. Old and broken couch.
4. No proper cleaning tool (Vacuum) to sweep up sands after beach trip, and long term staying(we stayed for 5 nights)
5. Very great location, close to HEB and Walmart for necessary runs.

Regarding seating, the home listing photos show only island stools, so there are no additional dining chairs. It was just ok
Unfortunately we had ongoing issues with the WiFi, the microwave would only work for 8 seconds at a time before shutting off requiring us to reset the plug, and the neighborhood is sketchy. We had people obviously under the influence of drugs asking us for things if we were outside. We were looking for the cheapest route to take a quick getaway but will spring for the extra money next time to get a home that works as it should and without the scary “neighbors”.

The stay was great as in location right there and the general access to highway and many of the amenities also including Padre Island and beach access. As for the property itself, the accommodations for pet friendly could be better. The accommodations for toddlers or infants would be nice to have a crib that is accessible. when it comes to this particular property, some of the furniture in the home is not clean as well as the bedsheets were not clean at all. as for pet friendly the accommodation of a dog kennel. We did leave one for the next day or individual that has a pet, which would come in very handy for keeping pets safely kept while away from the home if you have to leave your pet. when it comes to the kitchen area, majority of the dishes were not clean. They still had food, residue or residual water still left in them while in the cabinets particularly the bowls. The cleaning service that is being used to clean this proxy or not doing it properly to make sure that every stay and also review of this property gets its most potential. I’m sure this property owner would like to receive five stars and great reviews for accommodating guest at their stay in Texas around the Padre Island area, but that is not being accomplished if the cleaning team is not properly cleaning the location.
